Wow Amazing

I ordered a small play blanket from Dinkleboo and it arrived on time. And in good condition too. The blanket is for my grandson, and he loves it so much. I have three more grandkids and they are a bit older. So I am thinking of getting them the medium and the large sized ones. What I like best about the blankets from Dinkleboo is that they do come in very attractive, educational and personalized designs. Nothing can be more encouraging for kids to play and relax than having a blanket/toy that they can truly call their own. So, thank you Dinkleboo for the fast and reliable delivery of my order.

Really bad quality book and took forever to ship to Canada.
Also the graphics were from the 80's. I purchased a personalized Christmas book for my niece and I decided that the book was so horrible that I didn't even give it to her!
There are a lot better personalized children books out there online, check out "I see me" instead.

I am very sorry to hear that you did not like the storybook you purchased. There is an option to preview the book online during the build process. Please provide feedback if you experienced problems with that tool. We do have over 30 book titles to choose from that are all from different writers and graphic artists. We would be happy to help you select another title that you may find more appealing. Shipping into Canada seems to have returned to the standard transit times so it shouldn't take too long to get another title up to you if you like.

Photo Blanket Debacle

My Groupon Code comes up as Invalid when I ordered a large Photo Blanket from Dinkleboo. Extremely frustrating not only because I have paid for it and shouldn't have those problems but time consuming as well as much time has already been spent in selecting and arranging the photos which now appears to have been lost in the process. Never revived my order
January 15, 2016

I ordered 2 books at the end of November. Received shipping confirmation December 3. Even if it took the longest shipping possible they would arrive before Christmas. Now mid-January they have still not arrived. Customer service said basically they were shipped and your order is complete have a good day. Unacceptable and a waste of monkey. Perhaps the company as a whole is a scam.

HI, I ordered the books during Christmas period and they did not arrive. Eventually, I had a dinkleboo sales person contact me and told me that I could reorder FOC given that my books were Christmas related. I reordered and they told me that it has been sent on1 Feb. Today is 1 March and I have yet to receive it. I checked my dinkleboo account and the books were still showing in my shopping cart and did not show that it was checked out. It should have appeared in my account dashboard. I've just written to Dinkleboo customer service again. This is so exasperating.,, My request number is #*******. Pls advise. Thanks

I ordered a book on 27/11/2015 with a delivery date the day before Christmas. I followed up on the delivery and they had no processed my order. I requested a refund and they said they could arrange that but it would be a refund through PayPal. I advised I paid for the item on my credit card and wanted the refund there as I do not have a PayPal account and when you purchase on their website you can either pay by credit card or PayPal. They then sent me an email with instructions to sent up a PayPal account so they could refund. I can now kiss good bye my $45.98 and lets just say I have one disappointed child as they really wanted a Christmas book (that was promised to them) with their name in the story for Christmas

Hello Val - My apologies that your order did not process. I'm not certain of the reason for that. If you used vouchers for your order that were purchased from a deal company we would not have taken your payment and therefore would not be able to return money back to your credit card that we had not collected. Your choices would be to go back to the deal company for a refund if you no longer wanted to pursue the order or we would have to do a money send to you via PayPal.

If the ordered failed to process there would not have been shipping charges collected from us but if there had been we would of course reverse those charges as we would have collected that payment directly.

At any rate, you are not out the $46 that you paid if you have not received a product from us. I will private message you to see if I can assist.

Ordered a personalised book through Groupon so it wasn't mega expensive but I had hoped it would still be of good quality. When the book arrived I opened it to put it into my son's Christmas Eve Box and was very disappointed. The first 7 pages had a big crease running through them. I contacted Dinkleboo via there email page and I received a reply email saying they were currently busy and were working through their emails but I could contact them on live chat should I need to. I tried this several times but it was never available, not sure if it was the time difference or just that it was not available. I really expected a replacement book before Christmas but never got any other reply or replacement book. Very disappointed and won't be using again.

I ordered two books on 19 November which have STILL not arrived.

I've requested a refund by
1. Emailing: Twice they have closed my tickets as 'resolved' without any resolution.
2. Calling: They have "high call volume" and the call disconnects
3. Live chat: Which is "experiencing excessive customer contact" and never receives a response

Hello Kellie - if you have yet to receive your books that were ordered on the 19th they are most likely lost in transit. I will be reaching out privately to help organize your refund if you haven't already received it as we have pretty much caught up with all of the inquiries from the season.

I'm very sorry though that you had trouble getting through to us. This season was extremely busy and yes we were behind on what our normal response times to customer inquiries typically are. You can see that from the posts below. I will just touch on the inquiry methods you have listed above:

- Calls; you should have been given the option to leave a voicemail.
- Chat; is and always will be the fastest way to receive help. There may have been a few times that chats were quite full but as a whole this channel did not experience too many problems.
- Emails; each time a ticket is answered by one of our reps it will close your ticket to keep the inquiries in the queue organized. When you reply it reopens the ticket and tags it to your original inquiry as long as you don't start a completely new ticket.
- Auto-reply: The main feature of the auto response is to help clear the queue of customer inquiries that have been assisted via phone, chat or another email thread. This allows us focus on those customers that have replied "yes I am still in need of assistance". This reply also reopens the ticket. So your case is never closed as long as you respond.

Love the canvases!

Wow! I am so surprised to see so many negative reviews. I had a really great experience ordering from Dinkleboo. I ordered 3 24"x24" canvases for our nursery and they arrived on time and are beautiful. The staff was very helpful to ensure the colors were correct (I was trying to match a painted wall) and I couldn't be more thrilled with how great they look.

I ordered two customized books. Book #1 arrived in an appropriate amount of time but the shipping confirmation listed that book #2 was being shipped, which was incorrect. For the second book, I never received a shipping confirmation. It arrived a week later but was personalized for another child. The customer service was helpful and agreed to send a new book however, the new book sent was just another copy of Book #1. I've requested that book #2 be sent. Unfortunately, book #2 was a Christmas theme, and it will arrive after the new year.

I ordered a custom photo blanket for a friend with cancer at the end of November. I receive email confirmation that it shipped on Dec. 4th. I have repeatedly contacted customer service for a tracking number or waybill number which they have been unable to provide. This was a custom photo blanket of family photos, a Christmas present for my friend with cancer and am told they have no tracking number because they use DHL and then 'the local mail stream'... wtf? I get no reply from customer service now at Day 27 with tomorrow being new years eve, so I am screwed again until Jan 4,2016 at the earliest. Am being totally ignored by customer service, that's ok, I'm going to totally ignore the charge on my credit card and dispute it to be reversed, as in I'm not paying you. Run far and fast from this company...

I am very sorry to hear about your friend's health and also that your order did not arrive in time for the holiday. If we were unable to give you a tracking number that means that your order was sent internationally. On the internal shipments we are only able to track delivery to the port. Almost all orders were in and out of our facility within 48 hours this season but we did experience delays mainly into the UK and Canada. It has been as frustrating for us as well.
My sincere apologies too that you felt you were being ingnored. There were delays in our response times this season and this I have not denied. As long as you have sent in an inquiry though we will get back to you to find a resolution that works for you.

Ordered 2 personalized Christmas themed storybooks with Groupon early December. Received one within a week. It has now been 16 business days from stated shipping date for second. Customer service stated it should be here by Monday... 20 business days and well after Christmas!

Disappointing
December 30, 2015

Why would you put the child's first name and surname in every entry in the book. Most of the time just the first name would have been fine. I thought this very odd and so I won't be ordering again.

Hello Bez -

I'm sorry if there was some confusion on what to enter into the name field for the storybook you ordered. It does only ask for the child's name so if you did enter both the first and last name that is what will print throughout the book. The software is set up only on character count in the event a child is known by a first and middle name such as Eleanor Rose and would not omit the second name from the other pages in the book.

I will put in a request though to see if they can change the Child's Name to Child's First/Middle Name to prevent future confusion for customers.

Just as an fyi after your personalization fields are complete there is a preview button as the next step so you can view your inputs. It populates to the left and you can scroll through each page if like to ensure you are happy with the population of information.

I ordered 3 items on Dinkleboo all with the same name on the same order. Two were correct, the other with a totally different name. It's not difficult to check - who is doing the quality control at this organisation? This was extremely disappointing as they were items for my grandson's 1st Christmas which can never happen again. The problem is they can't make this right.
They should not advertise for business via major corporations worldwide (I obtained via Amazon) if they cannot handle the volume of orders which I can only assume is the reason for this sloppiness. I have seen many other reviews with the same error. I have sent them an email - let's see the response time. The only reason I have given two stars is only because the other items were correct. Unfortunately this sort of mistake tarnishes the whole process - the personalisation is why I ordered the goods in the first place. If a company trading on a personalised service can't get the personalisation right, the whole thing falls...

My sincere apologies for the error on the personalization of one of your Dinkleboo items and we will certainly rectify the situation to your satisfaction. I can assure you it wasn't intentional. On occasion even the best of companies make mistakes. I really feel our production did an amazing job. With over 300K orders that went in and out of our facilities over the holiday, in my review of the posts below I only see one other "true production" complaint. Aside from a few early on website issues it was really the shipping delays with our partner carriers and customer service response delays that took the biggest hit and those are not being taken lightly. As this is not an issue throughout the rest of the year changes will be put in place for the next holiday season.

I ordered 4 books from dinkleboo, 2 separate orders each order with 2 books. I continue to be missing a book from each order which the website said guaranteed christmas delivery if ordered by dec 13 for ground shipping. I placed both orders on Dec 7, well within the christmas delivery deadline. I contacted customer service on Dec 18th and again on Dec 23, looking for tracking numbers for all the books and was told 2 of the books do not have tracking numbers. Both times I was also told the books will show up by christmas if thats what they said. It is now December 26th and I did not have my gifts for my nieces on christmas. I was so excited to get these for them, and now the stories are late. Very poor customer service and very hard to talk with a real person. Very disappointed

Rubbish
December 26, 2015

I ordered a Christmas stocking on the 5th of December and it was shipped on the 7th. Postage said it would take 7-10 days within Australia and I am yet to receive it.
As this was a Christmas themed present i am extremely annoyed with the company and inability to answer my two emails. The stocking are not cheap and will be useless for another 365 days. Better off buying from somewhere else!

Delay shipment
December 26, 2015

Bought 2 customised pencil cases on 25 November with groupon. Contacted them on 23 December and they said should arrive by today. But it's the 26 in singapore now and no sign of the gifts. It's supposed to be Christmas gifts for my nieces. Now can't contact or access their chat. Disappointed with this.
