I signed up for Datingsitebuilder's Small Business Plan last month. I intended to build a social network for my niche. I thought they have great dating features but not so much for social networking. Customer support has been great and helpful. I canceled within 30 days and asked for a refund. They refunded me the next day, although setup fee is not refunded per their policy. I wish they will improve the social networking modules soon and I might consider signing up again!

I am old customer of datingsitebuilder.com. Their service has been up and down but there's lot of improvement in 2012. I can't even remember when was the last time the server went down. I do not believe what others said about server outages or bugs as "frequent". They are "over-reacting" of what they are unhappy about. I have been using them for these many years and there may be bugs only when they added new features or modified existing features, but they fixed it right away when it's reported or found. I just want to tell my true story and help others. Sitejabber is not the best place to judge a business because the reviews are not trustworthy.

Dating Site Builders are a scam, I have been trying to Cancel my Account with them since October and after many Emails and voicemails left they still didn't cancel it but kept withdrawing money for 3 months after.

They never return your voicemails as I have left several messages, I emailed every Email Account of them and never responded, but when I finally said I am going to see a lawyer after ignoring my request to cancel my account I finally got a respond. But no refund because its pass 30 days non the less that I've been leaving voicemails and emails with no reply from them 3 months with no response from this dating site builders.

Many emails and voicemails to cancel they just kept withdrawing money from my bank Account so be very very carefull as they never pick up their phone and hide behind their Emails with a lack of customer care.

I finally talked to someone after 3 months trying to get a hold of someone I finally do and still won't get refunded even after the whole 30 days crap, they just withdrawn money out of my account on the 4th of December and not even refunding that.

This company will withdraw money from your account with no permission and will ignore your request to cancel your account... BIG SCAM... STEALING MONEY...

I wish I came here first, I bought their rubbish dating script, and once I received the source code I was shocked how rubbish and amateur it was.
The site is awful, I have got a a dating website at the moment which I use a totally free script which is much better than this rubbish.
I asked for my money back and they told me no, as apparently it was my fault not theirs.
The customer service is rubbish and they are very rude.
So my advice about this scamming website.

I have tried this site for a while, it crashed 2-4 times for me, unable to use the page or thier homepage to contact them. Written to them for over 2 month that I want to cancel my account, as im unable to do it myself, as i only get an error code when I try. They responded ok in the beginning, but now they didnt answer for 2 month, so of course they charged me for this, even though I asked how to cancel my payments, they just ignore. I have blocked my cc and you will never get a dime out of me, 2co.com OR datingsitebuilder. Never use them!

These people are scam artists. Thieves. I paid them hundreds of dollars to install software on my website. It never materialized. At first they seemed friendly and responsive, told me that the work would be carried out "very soon", or "within 24 hours", but weeks went by and nothing happened. When I asked them for a refund they just ignored me. I have emailed them at least a dozen times asking for my money back. They just don't reply. I have reported them to the police and to Mastercard.
Whether that will come to anything I have no idea. But they've ripped me off, and they're still advertising the software that I paid them to install, so presumably they are ripping off many other people too. To anyone thinking of paying them money - don't!
By the way, they also operate as Profilenetwork. Same 2CO account, same crooks.

Awful site, keep your hard earned cash, and run for the hills. 2checkout will NOT help you with any refund's. Since I made a payment thru paypal, which linked in to the 2checkout shopping cart, I was able to recoupe $29.95, of the $39.95 I paid to use the service after 30 minutes. I got scammed out of $10.00 they call a setup fee, which you have to set up yourself. Service is filed with a lot of hidden fee's which will make it hard to start a dating service if your'e on a tight budget. You also have to pay an additional fee to have a shopping cart, or any other feature's you may want to use, for your site. You could end up spending $70.00 or more per month just to use this service.

I read through all reviews and seems like datingsitebuilder.com has some unsatisfied customers along with some happy customers. Most of the reviews are fairly old like 3-4 years. Anyone has recently bought their dating software? These type of Internet companies change rapidly especially their customer support team to keep up with competitors. I checked their website and it seems very professional. I also fall for their pricing, features, and templates. If they have made improvements, I don't mind signing up for their free trials.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE! I did not get the software that was advertised on their site. I called 2CO, their payment provider, for a refund and they will not give my refund and said to call datingsitebuilder.com. Hello, how can you call the company if the 800# does not work. And watch out for the foreign fees that you will incur on your credit card. This means that they are not even in the USA as they say in their website. Datingsitebuilder.com is clearly a SCAM on all directions. Check our reviews and decide for yourself.

I had purchased a script from the site Feb 27th. Nothing worked, not even the domain. I cancelled within 24 hours. They were very quick to take my money from my visa, but seem to have a serious problem refunding my money. I cancelled well within the 30 days so why can they not simply refund my money within the same 30 day time period. I had such high hopes when I had purchased from them. My hopes were dashed by a crappy script, etc and no matter how many emails I send them they do not acknowledge me. I feel so ripped off.

Too many negative reviews for this site so I tried it myself. I got the Dating Software but had them host it. If you want to see the real feel of this software have them host it for a month and do not spend the $99 ($100) right away. With me its a trial and error and it takes risk in starting a business.

Here is my personal review: I had my dating site running for 2 months. And I don't give a $h** if you don't like my review. People need to see real reviews not marketing reviews:
1) The templates they have are common templates that you see from other dating software companies. At first I had problems editing the templates but give yourself time and you will be able to figure it out. I did not have to use any special codes since I was able to upload almost everything from my computer to do personal changes in the template. I can change colors and items with ease. I had some help and questions though on getting items moved around from the home page. I got help from their so called tech support.
2) TEch support, http://www.live-help.com/login.php, they respond within 8 hrs. I got a feeling there might be only 2-3 people running the business including tech support but as long as they answer my questions and fix my issues I dont even care if they are 2 or 3 people only.
3) Shared Profile - sucks. Because there are a lot of spammers. Only good if you want to show off that you have a lot of members but later on your personal members will realize that your site is being shared. There are alot of dead profiles. Not recommended.
4) Hosted site - before I got the hosted plan I asked the the customer support if I can transfer my site to my own server when I decided in the future, the CSR said YES. And guess what after I got it and asked again, tech support said I CAN NOT move the site to my own server.
4) Payment - when I cancelled the site the tech support said they will cancel it within 5 days. Why? I dont know. AFter 5 days i got another invoice from 2CO for the recurring subscription. My advise call 2CO right away if you want to cancel your subscription and no questions ask.

Overall I only recommend this site if you are starting and want to try the waters on the dating business if it is really for you. The hosted plan is affordable and very less issues. Do not get the software for the $99 until you are pretty sure that you know about codes and have studied the software. Get the hosted plan and check it out yourself. I hope this review helps.

I cant believe I didnt check the reviews first, what was I thinking? I am trying to build a social network and after a quick search I came across this website. It looked reasonable and I paid for their premuim package, everything looked alright and smooth until after I paid then all of a sudden their "client log in" is down and not responding? Their support is mysteriously down too?

I am glad I paid with Paypal just incase I need to get a refund. I DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY NO ONE! I rule that this is a fraud and any of their workers that want to contact me please do, I would gladly provide you with my order number and whatever you need to know! STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE!

Goron, Brandon, David, and anyone else in their organization are not credible at all. I signed up with them in October 2011, and in late December 2011 asked for my account to be cancelled and asked for a refund, as they did nothing that they said they would do.

I started with a basic site, then, in order to add more features, expanded to their top level site, then ordered from them 1000 "custom" profiles. After I placed the order, I noticed that the few profiles that they were uploading onto my site were not customized at all to my specifications. I had to send repeated emails to their "support" office (because they would not speak to me on the phone - each time they answered, I was told to submit a ticket) telling them that the profiles were wrong, and asked when they would be uploaded (because they told me it would take "up to 2 weeks"). After waiting over 4 weeks, I had only 191 profiles uploaded of the 1000 that I ordered. I then asked to cancel my account and asked for a refund. I received no refund at all (even though I have an email from the payment center that they use telling me that I am owed a refund!), and also they still have not signed over to me the rights to my domain name that they registered for me.

I paid them (and lost) $450, plus I lost my domain name which they will not give back. DO NOT USE Datingsitebuilder under any circumstances! They are not reputable and will steal your money.

Stay Away! Their script is garbage! Their customer service is garbage! They supply no phone number except for sales; go figure. If your looking for a refund forget it. Once you order you will never see the money again. I tried to get a refund through them, paypal, and co2checkout with no success. It took them a week just to set it up. The profiles that are used are from hundreds of different websites with no real active users. They are a scam artists! They turned my website off in the middle of my paid subscription probably because there was a bug in the script they could not fix. So not only did I pay for a full month of service and only recieved less than half, they decided to use the real people that signed up through my website for there own gain. I will do anything and everything to let people know how bad it really is. I should have listened to the reviews that I read but I tried to give them a try anyway. Whatever you read about them it is true. Do not even think about signing up. Its not worth it.

I can't begin to tell you how angry I am with this bunch of scam artists. I have - had - a great dating website using SocialGo until they decided my site was "adult" and I had to find an alternative. Datingsitebuilder looked perfect. They even had a friendly Live Help operator who was able to answer all my queries and assure me that their technical support was "second to none". The software itself looks - and in fact is, great. Or it would be if it worked. The trouble is, most of the time it doesn't. So you have to submit a ticket requesting technical support. Which is non-existent. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you get a reply within a couple of weeks. But more often than not the reply will be an incomprehensible one-line response from somebody who clearly didn't understand your question, can't help you, and doesn't speak English anyway. You can wait MONTHS for them to deal with even the most basic issues. Oh, and the Live Support disappeared a few days after I'd signed up with them.
I rebuilt my entire website around the Datingsitebuilder software, and now my members are deserting it in droves, because of all the technical problems that never get fixed. In just a few months I've gone from earning $5k/mth in membership fees, to LOSING money every month.
The only thing they are efficient at is charging your credit card. Even if they sell you a piece of software that doesn't work, and you tell them you don't want it, and want to cancel the account, they will still continue to rebill you monthly for it. In fact they don't seem to have any billing department as such. Billing queries have to be posted on their support message board.
Avoid this company like the plague.

SCAMMERS! I have been trying to get a refund since October (Its Jan.)! They say they want the ticket number I gave to cancel the site, but of course they have de-activated my account so I can't get the ticket number! I asked several times for a refund before total cancellation! I gave my activiation information, personal information, etc... they should have my payment history no problem! HORRIBLE customer service! Very unprofessional! They answer on a cell phone in the car, do not transfer u because there is no one to transfer to! The pics on thier site are fake! Just a couple of kids.
