STAY AWAY from this fraudulent company. As other reviews mentioned, they do not hold up to what they say... they put things off, and do NOTHING but take your money! They delay until your 30 days is up just like the other reviewer stated. I gave them the 7 days they asked for, and then I cancelled, it doesn't take that long to build a web site. I cancelled well within their cancellation period and I am still fighting to get my money back through paypal. Now they won't respond because they are caught in the act of FRAUD. They have cost me loss in business, time, and money. If I have to take them to court, I will. No problem, and they will be paying me more than what they took from me - they cost me a loss in business, time, and money. They are a SCAM, that is all.

Hi. I bought a template from them and I pais 49$. I expected tabless template, with at least some JavaScript and nice CSS. Here what I got: ONE, yes ONE PSD (from index), ONE CSS with 70 lines of code, ONE page (the índex) and a folder with the images. A total waste money, an amateur layout. Worth less Than 10$. The template did not have the other pages, not even a pre built php contact form. Yes I bought templates from other sites like template monster and they sell a decent template.

I made enquiries from Dating site builder about certain functionalities I requested for my dating site and was told to try it for 30 days and if I dont like it I should cancel my subscription within 30days with full refund.

I tried it and wasn't pleased with the service so I cancelled my subscription (within 30 days) and didnt realize I had to cancel auto renewal from 2C0 as well.

As a result, I got billed for another month.

I have been trying to get my money back since December 2013 but till date their has been no update on this.

I also requested for my Domain name and DNS to be transferred but only DNS was transferred.

The customer service is appaling and this is begining to look like a Scam website. Should have known better.

I was a customer of this site for 6 months. I paid my bill on time up till the last couple of months, as I was trying to give them an ultimatum to get my stuff sorted out or else! Did not matter... After 6 months of fighting with them about my domain ownership transfer (that I NEVER got) And many many other issues, and after 6 months of them trying to get my login information for my godaddy account, AND my paypal account, I finally cut my losses and said F*** you! Its a shame, cause I already had over 200 local contacts on my dating site. They offer NO live support, only ticket submission, and you are lucky to get an answer in 2 weeks on a ticket. And IF you do get an answer, its usually a bunch of bull$#*! excuses basically blaming all your problems on you. They take responsibility for NOTHING.

Also! For those of you who think you can just solo it and grab their "stand alone" software and build your own site without them, DONT DO IT! You need a complete knowledge of PHP to even use the software and again... they offer NO live support, in fact, there is NO phone number to get ahold of anyone with their company other then the one to recruit more suckers into paying them. They are the biggest scam I have ever seen!

2 months later my site is still up and running, and people are still joining and sending me messages, but of course, I can not log in as I refuse to be ripped off anymore and have stopped payment.

Buyer beware, they also do not honor their 30 day money back guarantee! If you try to cancel your account and get a refund, they will delay their response in the "tickets" until your 30 days are up!

And dont bother trying to defend your actions datingsitebuilder! You are a scam, not just with the products and services you offer, but I hope that PayPal charges your $#*! to the fullest extent of the law for asking for my PayPal login information!

My friend referred me to this company- DatingSiteBuilder. At first, I was hesitant to involve myself in this kind of company because I don't want to waste money participating in any business that I am not well-informed and I am not sure of the company's integrity. Although at the end, I was convinced by my friend to avail the company's offers because of her good feedbacks to their dating software, I am also happy with my decision. I am very impressed with DatingSiteBuilder's service along with the impressive attitude of the techs.

I just read these reviews after I purchased the dating software. I was worried about it at first. So just crossed my fingers and tried it install the software myself. The installation was quite easy although there's no one-click installer. Website is setup immediately (I updated dns with my hosting before hand), but it took me a few tries to figure out the path on my server. Once it's setup, everything works like it's described. CMS only works for new pages you created, not default pages like home page or search. I have to edit the html if I want to change the content of default pages. Well, for $99, I think it's worth my money, can't compare to $499 software, but it's got all the bells and whistles I need to build a decent dating website. Do I recommend datingsitebuilder? Yes, but it's not for everyone, only those who know a little bit of html, css, and php/mysql. I think the hosted service might be easier to work with especially for internet dummies, but I have not tried that. Good luck!

Bought the software from them a few weeks ago, after putting a request in for them to install it 2 weeks later they finally got around to it. What an absolute joke, for my $99 i got a frontpage that was uneditable & NO admin panel, my site was unusable after a week of waiting for them to sort it out i finally had to give up & accept that i had been blatantly ripped off by this company, the ticket support system is a joke with predefined answers to questions.
Finally went with another company bought there software, who within 3hrs of requesting an install had my site installed & running, complete with Admin panel. Please to whoever reads this DO NOT USE DATINGSITEBUILDER you would be wasting your money.
Please note i DO have proof of my dealings with datingsitebuilder by way of screenshots ive taken of my ticket conversation with them.

I was hesitated to sign up but after shopping around, I can't find better deal than dating software builder. Since they provide 30 days money back, I decided to give it a shot. After an hour chatting on the live chat, the staff seemed to be "still" very patient. He did answer all my questions, although they don't provide any live demo. I can totally understand that - they don't want people to mess around. No matter what, I signed up finally, for Premium plan. Wish me luck! I didn't go all the way to Enterprise, because I want to test the water first. I might upgrade to Enterprise if I am satisfied with their software and services. My dating website was setup the first day without much help from the tech. The tools are very friendly and easy to use. That's true. I hoped I would run into some kind of trouble so I could buzz the tech. I will post more feedback when I find out more whether it's good or bad.

Started using datingsitebuilder since 2010. My dating site is growing but slowly. Datingsitebuilder has provided enough help to get my site up and running. From time to time they may make changes to the site. Sometimes there's glitches after the update but they fixed it right away. I like about the profile sharing feature. It helps alot when I started out. One thing I don't like is that you don't have access to these shared members, meaning you can't remove profiles that you don't like. They will always be there. You can only select featured profiles that you can put on your home page or other pages. The dating templates are great. I think there are about 50+ templates and all are free! But I don't change the template very often once I decided which I want to use. Server is VERY STABLE to be honest. Not sure about others complaint about the server. From my memory, it's never been down. Just a few times it's a bit slow in loading. Otherwise, i think it's the best server and hosting I have ever experienced with.

Thought I wanna give a bit more details about datingsitebuilder. I am on the Small Business solution.

Price: I think price is very fair. For only $49.95 a month, I have almost all features that I need to run a (working) dating website.

Templates: They have plenty of templates (I think it's over 50, but I didn't count), I don't care about the number, once I decided to use one, I will stick to it. There's some learning curve customizing the template, but once you figured out, it's fairly easy to move things around.

Support: Support is provided by tickets only. Sometimes the response is very fast, sometimes it's slow. I guess it depends on the load and type of issues.

Features: Some features are very basic (or must have) for a dating site. Some unique features include video or webcam chat, instant messaging, and profile sharing which they will allow your members to search through all members even from other websites, which I thought it's cool.

Conclusion: Overall I think datingsitebuilder is not as bad as others have stated. It also depends on your "level of expectation". But for the price you pay a month, it's worth your money.
