I first tried Datemyage 2 years ago for the same reason everyone else does. I was ready and wanted a relationship. Creating my account was breeze and my well curated profile was up in less than 2 minutes. Whitin 5 minutes, I had at least 35 chat requests and emails. I was more than surprised. It think that's when I first noticed the designation on participants profiles that reads "Featured Member*. If you are at a lost as to what a Featured Member is or does, that's ok, I also had no idea. It turns out, that only goodlucking members get the designation of "Featured Member". If you perhaps believe that my comment is missguide and based on misandry, I invite you to check. The polarity between the Feature Members and the "others" is more than obvious. If you thought there was a chance that the guy with the extra weight but beautiful smile and fantastic attitude was going to how up to be a "Featured Member", think again. All 35 of my chat requests and emails were from "Featured Members. Not a single non Featured. I found that odd. I am a middle of the road looking woman and only the most handsome Featureds reached out? But guess what, you can talk for free to non Featured Members. For Featured Members you have to pay for every single interaction no matter however miniscule you think it is. And by the way the boys pay NOTHING. The entire expense of this quest for love will be yours, even if you miraculously find it with an actual Featured Member.
Within a couple of days the candidate pool had started to dry and one man stood out. He seemed very interested and I was getting excited and unfortunately feeling hopeful. He kept making excuses and asking me for more time and I did capitulate for a couple of days while bleeding money I didn't have because in my idiocy and loneliness I had let him convince me that we were on a great path and things were moving forward. When I put my foot down and finally told him I was quitting the site, he didn't even want my number. He had said everything he had to say to make me have hope and lower my defenses. And I ended up loosing a lot of money to Datemyage. But I couldn't blame the app then. It was a one off by a bad man as far as I knew. But again I got lonely and I ended up there. Hoping that I would not run into that twisted person who get pleasure from inflicting pain on others... and I didn't. But the same thing happened, as if orchestrated and rehearsed. This time I decided to ask the Featured their options on the fact that they do not have to pay for the service, I asked all of them if they'd ever actually had met and had a relationship with anyone outside of the platform or why it is that the members classified as Featured can interact with anyone on the site, except oppsit sex Featured? Not a single one answerd me and they all quickly disappeared from the screen one by one. I think I now believe that this is a scam behind the fasad of a legitimate online dating app. I think Datemyage is taking advantage of the deep loneliness, sadness and need for connection the world craves at the moment. And that makes them ugly. I forgot to mention that I have looked and tried to find them but not one of the Featured Members I have looked up had ANY social presence.

Do not use this site or give them any CC info. The profiles are fake, the messaging is all fake and they have bots who interact with u so you use you credits. Also if you cancel your membership they will still charge and refuse to credit the charge back to u. STAY AWAY!

Within the first 5 minutes of using this app, it was easy to tell it was not real. The profile that was the most ridiculous was a man who claimed he was a busy plastic surgeon. He even showed photos of himself in a white doctor's coat but when you read the entire profile he showed having a PhD rather than MD. How ridiculous!

What made it worse is I was insulted and humiliated on their app and they did not see anything wrong.I still demand to be refunded because I strongly believe that this is a catfish profile.

There are "actors" who have a very attractive profiles that will contact you and send you scripted romantic, flattering letters. If you look closely, the "actors" are the people that look like they had a professional photo shoot done for their profile. The set up of the fake profiles are all look the same. If a person seems to good to be true, I promise you they are!

DateMyAge is total scam, and rip off. Do not join them because they steal your money.
They hire low life people who have a fake profile with perfect pics to send you tons of messages, which are computer generated and mushy. They pretend to be real people, handsome and wealthy. To get your attention they send you tons of messages. If you want to respond to a message you need to buy credits. For $16 you get 20 credits which is enough to read and answer 3 messages. It is a very expensive way to communicate with computer robots or scammers.
Don't give them your credit card number because they steal your money from your credit card.
I tried to respond to a message and I was redirected to refill my credit page which I did, but didn't get a single credit. I did this 3 times and didn't get any credits. I checked my bank account and they took my money 3 times, but didn't let me use the service. I was not able to send even one message. Then I realized this is a group of scammers, a cyber dating mafia who steal peoples money.
They don't even have a legit phone number. The phone number you can find online is fake, no one picks it up. The help line or live support has only generated guidance, so you cannot send them a message. Have you noticed that you never find a person's name anywhere? That is another proof that they are scammers who steal people money from their bank accounts that's why you cannot find a name anywhere because no one takes responsibility.
They say they take an issue seriously which is a lie, because I reached out to their support team and sent them a message with my concern and they just send me back a link that is useless. They didn't give me a refund for all the money they stole from me. They don't care and don't make any effort to resolve a fraudulent issue.
Stay away from these greedy scammers. They are thieves!

My dad, age 87 and lonely, signed up for Date My Age. Within a week he'd been charged $1000 to communicate with some "woman" in Spain. We live in Canada. I saw some of "her" communications to dad – the most breathless, over the top smarmy, "I'm in love with you" words I've ever seen. They had been communicating for less than a week. Dad was hooked. My sisters and I told dad that this was a fraud and nobody would be saying these things within a week, without ever meeting in person. We convinced him to stop communicating with "her". The person reached out, outside the site and convinced him to log back in. He was charged $728 - 3 times in 9 minutes for something called "virtual gifts". We have been trying ever since to get his money back. These people targeted my lonely pensioner father and scammed him out of over $3,000.

Then, you think you sign up for a month, only for the "credits" to run out in two hours and then the only way you can continue conversations is to pay a TON more money. Plus, people of every age contact you and very few people "to date of my age" in the US. What a scam. I have had a terrible experience with this organisation. I have consistently asked them to verify why the gouge $15 from customers to send a free email and then slug another $15 to read it when there free. I was on this site for more than a year in a relationship with a model called Leandro (48). He always sent sweet emails and messages but could never give me his contact details.
