Everyone has been really nice and informative. It's the only shop I go to for motorcycle stuff.
The manager, staff were great... tire was installed w/o hitch but after having motorcycles for 50yrs, still a bit of a sticker shock on the final price. The tire list was stated at purchase, while the tube and labor was not, so it was a bit more than expected. :) I would return to cycle gear if needed and if i live long enough..
Hopefully will do the job if I need it to! Light and flexible but solid enough for protection

I ordered an item and paid $20 for two day shipping on 3/20/2024 and didn't receive it until 4/1/2024. That is unacceptable service.
Order shipped quickly, and product was of high quality, regretfully I needed to return shipment due to jacket being to snug in my shoulders. Contacted Cycle Gear and they made returning very easy. And I purchased the next size larger, and cannot be happier!
Tires were packaged horrible, all tore apart. In ups on Friday in Edison at 4 am.Didn't receive till late Tuesday.

Only problem is it's missing a piece. I went into cycle gear and they said it was probably misplaced when I had my sena installed. Would have been nice to have.
Recently, I purchased a Bridgestone Battlax T32 sports touring tire for my Yamaha Tracer 9 GT. Within just a few days it arrived at my local Cycle Gear location and were mounted for only $25. The people at Cycle Gear are always fun to talk with and they do a great job. I would prefer to go to Cycle Gear over dealers because the people at Cycle Gear are so much more friendly and seem so much more welcoming to customers. Sadly, so many of the local dealerships are crabby and act like they're doing you a favor when you need something. I'm a long time Cycle Gear customer- And like going there. I honestly dread going to a local dealership. What more can you say?
Very convenient and informative way to buy tires. Having the make and model trigger bike-appropriate parts saves time and reduces errors. Free store delivery is a huge plus.

Tech left old clamp on weights from previous balance on wheel instead of removing them. In the future I will make sure to remove old weights myself. Technician also used grey weights on the black wheel. Why wouldn't they have used color matching black weights? Since many motorcycle rims are black, and black weights are available they should be using black weights for black rims. Now I will have to either paint them, or remove and replace the weights myself with black ones. In the future i will provide my own color matching weights for black rims.
The items were good and all as expected, but the truth of the matter is I could have gotten it all cheaper off some generic site like Amazon. It would be really nice to see a place for bikers that offered better or comparable prices.

I placed my online order, was given an delivery date. But suprise me, my order arrived three days in advance. The item was placed discreetly beside my garage.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
