Ordered a new tire for my bike with the help of an employee in store, they were very helpful and helped me find a tire that best fit my needs and riding style. The new tire came in and I was able to have it mounted within 24 hours. I only had to wait about 30mins after I brought them the wheel for it to be done. Overall great experience, I highly recommend CycleGear.
As a Retired UPS Driver that ordered 2 Tires New Years Eve I kinda expected the delivery of 2nd day to be delivered on Saturday the 4th. Unfortunately they came Thursday the 9th, & without ANY knock, or doorbell ring. But it wasn't shipped UPS as I requested. And the price match or better price was not done by manager even tho Dennis Kirk would have been less expensive I bought them from you. Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
