Incompetent
October 4, 2020

Doctor sent a 90 day supply prescription and one refill for BP to the Sun City Center, FL CVS. They would not fill it unless I called the pharmacy, after waiting on hold for 45 minutes, that was the last straw for me after several issues with this pharmacy. So, I tried to transfer all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy but the pharmacist at the place I was trying to transfer to, told me that CVS told him that I have no prescriptions available to transfer. None. Despite the fact that I have 4. So, now I'm on day two without my high blood pressure medication because now the prescription can't be found at all. My BP is 177/119 and blood vessels are bursting in my right eye. My doctor has tried calling CVS three times and can't get through to confirm what is going on with this.

I am shocked by the level of incompetence I've experienced at this pharmacy.

I have been with CVS pharmacy since Raley's pharmacy closed. I have watched CVS pharmacy in Antioch, CA #4326 customer service go downhill. You have to wait 45 min. Or more for the phone to be answered, customers are waiting for hours to pickup meds and several of the pharmacists are beyond rude, especially to people of color and Senior citizens. Yes, I have filed a complaint with their corporate offices. I will also be filing a complaint with the state department for pharmacies and pharmacists. Beware of this particular CVS pharmacy.

Magamia and Kevy are two of the most unprofessional staff members I have ever spoken to. Not ONE shred of decency, respect or care. Kevy is a big, nasty, bully who uses her position to be rude, hostile, uneducated, and plain vulgar. Horrendous customer service! You can't leave a complaint on the CVS portal because it keeps erroring out, there are no managers to speak with and I still don't have my much needed medication because a pharmacist and a tech thought it would be fun to play doctor with my mental health today!

CVS is withholding fulfillment of my prescription and was negligent in processing my prescription initially. I had an appointment with my primary care doctor on Thursday 8/20 and they electronically sent over my prescription to CVS. I called at 4:40 pm on 8/21 to confirm that this as well as another prescription were ready for pick up. I was told by the pharmacist that she is not going to fill it on Friday at 4:58pm because the doctor needs to be called when taking a new medication. All lies! Not a real practice and I called another CVS to confirm. This CVS is in an urban area so anyone with my color taking certain medications are illegally scrutinized and denied your legally prescribed medications. Dear CVS, Black people suffer from Depression, Anxiety and ADHD too. We deserve our meds to be provided to us in a timely manner just as much as anyone else. So many rules broken: ADA and essentially practicing without a licence by withholding my medication. Disgusting business practices when pharmacists opt to play God with your health and wellbeing!

August 14, 2020

My only complaint with CVS is they do not have a contract United Healthcare which would lower the prices greatly. I just do not understand why they do not participate, to me a makes good business sense. Staff is great. CVS Exton PA Lincoln hwy.

These people don't know and don't care. I've been waiting over 11 days for RESCUE MEDICATION. I've called 3 times and finally now they tell me it's on backorder and my Dr should prescribe something else. Wait, but you didn't call me to explain that, you didn't mention it the last 2 times I called and you didn't try to contact the Dr. either? How you remain in business is beyond me. If you're too busy then hire more people. My 12 yr old has gone without RESCUE meds for nearly 2 weeks and I just now found out why - pure incompetence! YOUR A LIABILITY

I absolutely hate CVS. They are the worst. I would not shop there if they paid me a million dollars. They throw away your things and lie to you. They cheat, steal, and make no effort to help you. Me and my daughter went there in January 2020 to buy a disposable camera that she could take to Science Camp. We dropped off the cameras in March for the CVS people to print the pictures. They told my daughter and I that we would get a call when the pictures were ready. They said it would take about 8-10 weeks. After this much time we did not get any call, so at the end of June we went to CVS to see if the pictures were ready. The CVS people said that they had most likely thrown them away. My daughter was absolutely devastated when she heard this. She was so excited to finally get her pictures back but because of these horrible idiots she didn't. Science camp is such a memorable time in one's life and you want to save memories. I felt so bad for my daughter because she absolutely deserved those pictures. How can you just throw away someone else's property like that. They didn't even give us the cameras back. Just awful. I absolutely hate these lazy, lying CVS people

Want to feel like you are bothering someone just by asking them to do their job? Just go to CVS pharmacy in Fayetteville Tn. Wow I actually felt quilty for interrupting their conversation about a guy they seem to like. I use them not by choice but out of necessity and I just cringe when I have to pick up my medicine.

I checked the CVS website for the availability of an item in Oviedo, FL. The stores at 8315 Red Bug Lake Road and 5650 Red Bug Lake Road indicated the item was in stock at both places. 8315 said is was "in stock" and 5650 said it was "in low stock." Well, guess what? Neither store had the item in stock. Lesson learned here is: Call the store to verify their website is accurate before you head out on a wild goose chase, wasting your time and gas money, and in the end turning up empty-handed. Thanks for nothing, CVS.

I'm not sure who gets the "God Complex" more... the doctors or the pharmacist! When ur script is due every 30 days, u would think it's so simple! WRONG! My Dr. wrote my meds out for 3 days early due to a documented reason. However, CVS EXPLAINS they will not honor what the Doctor says and makes me wait for 3 days! Then a month later I drop off same script, and they call me 2 days early to pick it up! Then to get back on the rotation I call cvs for explanation as to why my meds t not ready this month on the 30th day!? They try to reason that the doctor wrote "TBF" on it (to be filled) for the following day and they CAN NOT release it! But when it was wrote for the earlier date months back they wouldn't do it! It's completely WRONG and so much BS to point the finger at anyone except themselves! When u play by rules and they constantly change for a superior feeling, how does that help the actual customer/patient?! Tooo many chiefs and so few Indians! Shame on all of
U! Laugh now cuz ur turn or a loved ones turn will come and I'm sure u won't find any humor in it to watch them suffer! (They need to take the "Do no harm" out of the oath... it means nothing! Good luck to all survivors!

I ordered cosmetics at CVS.com because the stores have low stock on cosmetic items. I never received my order, but received a delivered notice from CVS.com. The notice said it was delivered on 4-21-20. UPS says it was delivered on 4-20-20. I called and emailed customer service and never could get a response. There were 2 vehicles in my driveway at the time the UPS person shows the product delivered, but they left it at the door? Why would they do that? They did not deliver it to the correct address as I was home and so were two other people, and now I am out $40 and no way to be compensated for the loss since CVS.com refuses to respond to my inquiries.

Price gouging
April 6, 2020

I needed to fill a scrip for my dogs eye drops. Me eye doctor was closed due to Covid 19. I was running low on the drops that I get online from Allivet for $21. My regular vet found the drops at CVS at Bell blvd. And Cypress Creek road in Cedar Park Tx. When I went to pick up the drops I was charged $104.99. I asked them why they were ripping me off and they just shrugged. I also tried to return them and they wouldnt take them back. Even though they were still sealed. I believe that they saw that I was a Senior Citizen and though I wouldnt complain.

Recently had to purchase something at CVS in Davidson NC. We had had a bad experience earlier and had almost given up on CVS after being long-time customers.

Fortunately on April 30 we encountered an employee by the name of Timer at the Davidson store (127 South Main Street in Davidson NC). He was most helpful, informed and courteous and has renewed our respect for CVS.

Sincerely,

Jack & Clare Lewin

I paid for my wife prescription online thru CVS.Com January 14,2020. When she went to pick up our medications she told the clerk to put one of her medication back that cost $137.50 because she had a coupon for it. They put the medication back on the shelf. So, I have been trying to get a refund for this transaction since January 16,2020. I have yet to get a confirmation saying my $137.50 is being returned. This is not the way you treat customers that are loyal and use their services. Me and my wife are very disappointing right now. CVS is taking money from my account that I can use to pay other bills with.

The call to C/S took about 18 minutes, on hold with hideous staticky music. C/S gave me the option to get a refund and purchase item somewhere else or wait indefinitely. I did not like either of those option. Since I was getting no satisfaction I finally opted for a refund. Why did your system allow me to order an item that was not available. I placed order on 02/01, the item was supposed to be delivered on 02/11. I called 02/13 to find out what's going on. Very poor business practices, do better CVS.

Worst pharmacy ever
January 20, 2020

Long story short I am a disabled veteran who had basically all my physical freedoms taken away. I rely heavily now on doctors, nurses and family for about 70% of my needs. I moved to an area where CVS is the closest pharmacy and I have gone there on 4 separate occasions to try and have my prescriptions filled. Once the pharmacist that was on duty called to verify my prescription on speakerphone so all the people in line knew what my medication was but had no idea what it was for thus leaving plenty of opportunity for embarrassment and judgement. Another time I was flat out lied to about how to get my narcotic prescription and was told there was a waiting list and that the list was full. Another time I spoke directly to the pharmacist and explained that I was allergic to a certain prescription because of an ingredients one manufacturer uses as a buffer and thought everything was taken care of only to again be told the next day that they would not fill my prescription. Calls to managers, corporate offices, etc. have done nothing to help. I was actually never even contacted by anyone about my complaint. The last pharmacist told me he was going to call another CVS to see if they would help me because he said they had enough in stock and never called me back at all. The sad part is that the rest of my family all use them, or did use them and we have 11 people in the immediate family alone. I know we alone won't impact them at all and they probably don't even care but we will no longer be using them for ANYTHING, period. I can understand a mistake. We all make them and we are all human but to treat someone you know nothing about like a criminal instead of a customer just doesn't sit right with me.

Any OTC item you purchase from CVS is pricier than nearby stores. The good thing is their customer service, greeting etc.

They have some many affordable items, but my favorite aisle of the store is the cards section. I could spend all day looking at every card, they are so cute! Some of them... can be a bit expensive, luckily I just get lost looking at them haha!
