Ordered a replacement filter lid from this company for my DGB-700BC coffee maker. I tried Amazon first, but the one sold there is an older model with different sized holes which, unfortunately, spewed coffee grounds all over my counter.
Anyway, came to the Cuisinart web store because surely they would have the right part, right? Well, no, not really. I found the right part on their web store (the newer model that Amazon wasn't selling.) It was a good price ($10), so I ordered it.
After a week or so I get a call from the Cuisinart web store saying they needed my credit card number, because "it got lost when the order downloaded to their system". Wha? At first I thought it was a credit card scam but the phone number checked out and they had my order and part #, so I gave them the credit card.
Two more weeks go by, still no lid in my mailbox. :( So I call their customer service line, wait on hold for 25 minutes, and finally speak to someone about my order. She says they need my credit card number because "it got lost when the order downloaded to their system". I explained that I already went through that two weeks before. "Oh yeah, I see that now", was her response. Then she put me on hold for 5 minutes while she checked the order. Came back and said my order "got lost when they upgraded the system" but she would send it out right away and credit the shipping. I said OK. She put me on hold again, then came back again and said the part is out of stock and they don't plan to get any in more in. O_o?
I asked how that could be if they're the manufacturer. She explained that they are not affiliated with Cuisinart (even though the Cuisinart.com site is where I found their phone number...). She gave me the Cuisinart product phone number where I was able to order the right part. This time for $25.
Customer service FAIL. I wonder if Cuisinart understands the damage this web store is doing to their brand.
Replacement work bowl was ordered over 100 days ago - No response other than the automated acknowledgement of my inquiry.
I placed an order for a replacement bowl and to save on shipping ordered 2 knives. I received my bowl which fit the base but didn't fit the lid I have, and they don't have that, so I am stuck with a bowl that is useless, and no knives in the order. I called to talk to customer service, and they said that I should get the knives in the mail later. It came with another bowl, and the 2 knives. They charged me for both orders and the shipping on the one without the knives. Long story short, crappy company and I will never buy anything from them again! So I spent 84.90 for 2 useless bowls. They say that I placed 2 orders and yet they charged me days apart. Ticked for sure!
I wrote a review already, but wanted to add information that this webstore is actually directly affiliated with cuisinart. I thought I had made a mistake and bought from these folks, so I placed an order for the same replacement blade on cuisinart.com. Lo and behold, the email response comes back from Cuisinartwebstore.com. So avoid purchasing from cuisinart.com as well. My experience so far is 0 customer service, non-responsiveness, and a week of no action after the order was placed.
In May 2016, I purchased a Stockpot Model # K*******000 from Cuisinart Web Store. Despite very slow order & shipping confirm and very sensitive customer service agent, my stockpot arrived. The product performs OK, but not great. I still rely on an old Revere Ware pot. I would not waste money on this cookware 1) it doesn't work that well. 2) Country of Origin is unknown. 3) Conair and its subsidiary Cuisinart are not very interested in consumers past the point of sale.
More concerning, is that the first time I washed it, I noticed there wasn't a Country of Origin label or engraving on the bottom which is required by law to protect manufacturers and consumers from counterfeit/inferior products. I contacted Cuisinart's Product Manager who eventually replied that the marketing was on the carton. I checked with our company's Import Manager and with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) INFO Center who confirm that Cuisinart is in violation of labeling laws as only labeling the carton "Made and Printed in China" is completely inadequate. Because I got such a lame answer and no follow up response from Cuisinart's Product Manager, I referred my concerns directly to CBP.
I purchased a replacement piece for my food processor. After three weeks I sent them an email through their customer service department asking about the item. They never returned the contact. I sent two more. Again, no reply. I tried them through Facebook and I was told I would hear from someone within two days. Still no response. The order was confirmed, I have an order number, but the item status says "processing". This company really doesn't seem to care much about its customers. I will never give them any more business and I am going to leave reviews on as many sites as I can to warn others about how this company functions.
I ordered a replacement work bowl and cover for our food processor back in August. Nothing on the site indicated backordered, delayed shipping, etc. Yet it took a full month to receive the cover, and at currently 2.5 months from order date we still haven't received the work bowl. Logging into the site it still says "processing." I've emailed customer support several times and haven't even gotten the dignity of a response. I guess the only positive thing is that they haven't actually charged us for the work bowl, just the cover. But our food processor is still sitting there useless. STAY AWAY!
Over 6 months time, I was sent incorrect food processor replacement parts and given wrong information. The final time, they said they placed the order from their warehouse and then never sent anything or notified me they didn't have the part. Kept sending me to Cuisinart which was equally a waste of time. Avoid!
I placed my order for a replacement food processor bowl through the actual Cuisinart site on March 24th, got an e-mail confirmation first from Cuisinart, then Cuisinart webstore on March 26th. I got suspicious that there may be a problem by the 31st, due to the lack of status update. I sent an inquiry, and 4 days later got an e-mail that the item was on backorder for at least 2 more weeks. I cancelled the order, then got an e-mail that due to their super-fast processing times, they may not be able to stop the order, but they would let me know shortly. That was 4 days ago. Needless to say, if I end up getting this item it will be marked Return to Sender, and a dispute will be filed with my credit card company. I could have lived without the part for a while, but in this day and age, where communication is a quick e-mail away, why would you repeatedly keep your customer guessing about things?
I ordered it from someone who actually had it in stock on April 4th, and it is already shipped and due to arrive tomorrow, April 8th.
My Cuisinart food processor broke and I ordered a replacement top. I received one in the mail that was half the size of the one I needed even though it says it should fit the top on the description. I spoke to three agents and they sent me a new one and charged my card for the new one that was more expensive. Then they sent me the exact same one again! I told them there was no way I was going back to the post office to pay to send it back and they said they'd put a return label in the next package. I get the third package - EXACT SAME ONE AS THE FIRST. I received three of the completely wrong product, all identical. They must be mass producing these, selling them to customers and when it's the wrong one, telling them it is our mistake and continuing to charge our card more. It's been the WORST experience ordering online ever and it makes me afraid to ever do it again. I'm calling tomorrow and reporting them to the BBB.
I placed an order for 2 bowls with lids for my Cuisinart Yogurt maker. I love them and wanted to be able to store the yogurt I made in these bowls. I paid $17.00 each for a bowl and lid. I received an order confirmation from them, but nothing else. So 6 days later I called to see if my item had been shipped. Went through 2 customer service folks before getting to a supervisor and finding out that my items were back ordered until the end of the month. I was never notified that these things were on back order. So, of course, I cancelled the order. Be very careful if you buy from these folks, they seem a little slippery. I'm giving Cuisinart a call too since they are using the Cuisinart name for their business.
I bought a Cuisinart replacement bowl, and when it arrived it was HALF the size I needed (it was $ 13.00). I called the company, and although it was listed as a Custom 14, it was not a Custom 14, and I would need the $46.00 one (there is no such thing as a 7 C Custom 14; 14 stands for 14 cups). The company would neither change their error on their website, nor provided the correct Custom 14 for the original $13.00. I was charged $46, returned the first, and shipping which was not refunded. After 3 phone calls and more than that in emails, I gave up when the last response to my email was 'call us'. I warned them, and have, reported a consumer complaint based on 'bait and switch' tactics.
WOW. If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. It took 21 days for my order to get to me. I e-mailed TWICE asking where my order was. I ordered a bread paddle and was SHOCKED at the condition of it. It looked like it had been scrapped on a sidewalk or filed with an industrial file. There were holes on the edges of the paddle as if the metal mold had not properly filled. The paddle itself is WAY lighter than it should be. It is obviously a knock off. I am extremely upset and pissed that I will be loosing shipping. Worst internet ordering experience EVER.
Unbelievably slow shipper. It's been 20 days since I ordered my standard part for a cuisinart coffee maker and still nothing.
Placed an order on february 13 and order has not been shipped. They refuse to cancel my order. What a bummer.
AVOID AT ALL COST!
I only give this one star because it is not possible to give zero stars. The phone service is deplorable. After interminable hold, I was bounced around to several agents, each time having to start over. The toaster oven product was remarkably poor in its design, difficult to use and downright dangerous. They refused to reimburse the cost of shipping it back.
I ordered a replacement pan for my bread maker and received a confirmation number on July 12. As of July 24th I still had not received the product or even a shipping confirmation. I called the customer service number and after waiting 30 minutes (no joke) for a person I was told that the item was on back order. A more professional website would have informed me of the back order prior to taking my credit card information.
I ordered a blade set for a cuisinart blender. My card was charged and I recieved a confirmation of shipment e-mail with nothing in the e-mail. 6 hours later, my credit card information was stolen with charges from the UK being put on my card. Run away from cuisinartwebstore as fast as you can. A total scam.
They have NO customer service to respond by email at all! I contacted them twice, and all I got was this canned automated answer. The first time it fooled me. The second time, I realized there was no human there.
"Thank you for your interest in Cuisinart products. For this type of inquiry, we recommend that you contact Cuisinart directly by email at *******@cuisinart.com or by phone at *******190."
I ordered an accessory for my Cuisinart hand blender and when it didn't fit, I returned it and they only credited my CC 2.50. When I called them, they said the original amount I paid ($8.49) was 2.50 for the part and 5.99 for S&H and they don't credit shipping. They are a total scam outfit. Stay away!
