I transferred $4,000 from discover to my bank credit card. And somehow the idiots that don't know how to add and subtract added $3,000 to my debt. This is the second time this happened. Why don't you hire people that know how to do second grade math?
I was a user of Credit Karma till I had a problem that I could not look at my report anymore. I have repeatedly tried to get hold of anyone but no reply back at all. Not even a buzz off. So I figure a bad review might catch their attention but I'm not counting on it.
After sending numerous emails regarding my issues, the customer service rep. Just replied back: after a week in a half! The response was not even attempting to solve the issue. It was just click this link' go to this site' - and that's not what I asked. It's sad & frightening all at the same time because they have many Americans financial information. I would give this business
I tried their free e-file service. They asked 3 identity questions. I answered correctly. Then they claimed they couldn't verify my identity. Seemed odd. I should've checked BBB first. Read they had filed a complaint against CK.
I have contacted credit karma several times they sent an email to a friend of mine's email address letting him know that he had paid off a loan. When he clicked on the link that was sent to him it was all of my credit information. This is not the first time this has happened see photo attached. Instead of credit karma doing the right thing by a customer, they deactivated my account with no explanation as to who else has seen my credit history. Horrible customer service and recipe for disaster
I check Credit Karma every week to see how my credit score is changing. I especially appreciate how they offer free identity protection, since that it is becoming a bigger and bigger issue. The site is very informative and easy to use. Hard to believe that it is free!
Closing account for the second and final time. First time I was told I had an excellent chance off being approved by Target and then was turned down flat. Gave CK another chance and then today was told I could pre-qualify for a personal loan with no affect on credit score. Answered three questions and was immediately notified of a hard inquiry on my credit. I'll stick with Credit Wise from Capital One from now on. Also was told that I was approved for loan and then received an e-mail that I was denied, go figure that one out. Very fraudulent company.
They are ( Just ok) because half the time my actual score is lower or a bit higher than they report however they are on top of it when I do a hard pull with a credit application. I will not be doing my taxes with them ever I have a tax professional already keep note folks about the credit notifications they are spot on hard credit pulls.
You said I had a 90% chance of getting a lone. When I tried it was turned down! And drop my score down? What a rip off.
I had a fraudulent person steal my identity and log into my account and completely change the password, email and phone number somehow. They have access to my account and all of my info. I cannot get a hold of credit karma and I've emailed them MULTIPLE times, they have no customer service and this is a SERIOUS issue with no resolution.
Need to see my tax return, so I can do Form M1PR. [I know its late] Been able to see tax forms in the past. KC says will send a code, my email is the same but CK keeps saying will sent to phone I KEEP ON entering my NEW phone number, but keeps saying will send password to 9378 this is old, KC wants me to send picture of my ID I cant I don't have a fancy cellphone! Keep going in circles. Clicked on will sent ID thru snail mail and every time I click on it. It says OOPS can't do that. I'm in tears very frustrated. Also answered all questions on school I went to, maiden name... that did not help at all.
When the tax preparation failed and I tried to remove it, there was no way to do it. After countless E-mails there seems to be no one there that has any clue as how to remove it. Serious concerns about security. Stay away. Many other web-sites are free. I used two others to verify my returns, both gave the same results.
Since I reached adulthood my credit has been poor due to having a serious medical condition and being raised in a struggling family without proper medical insurance. Even though I've worked hard my whole life I could never get a handle on my credit situation and never had the opportunity to prove my credit worthiness. Desperate to have good credit I've been taken by scams promising to clean my credit up and after thousands of dollars I never see change. Reluctantly I made a reach to youdoneedgreatcredit (at) g. M. a. I. l (dot) com to help me as i had no other option with their promise to clean my credit up and they did just that! In just a couple of days they proved they stand by their word! I wish i found them earlier. They are professionals and are relentless to get things straightened out. I highly recommend them to anyone who does not have the time or wherewithal to stay with a very tedious process.
I check my credit score and there were lots of hard inquires that I am not familiar with. I called all these companies and they told me Credit Karma has been giving false info on people's credit report, call CK to dispute it, but There is no way for me to contact them except e-mail. I want to speak to a live person please! I am very upset!
I been using credit karma for a year now. I love their recommendations. Always 1 click away from my credit score. My score has improved since then (their tips are useful)
Since signing up for the free site, creditkarma.com, I have been deluged with daily offers from companies who know exactly what my loan balances are and offering debt consolidation. I have not requested this service and I did not give creditkarma pemission to to put my personal debt information to the public. I have tried to "unsubscribe" to creditkarma but continue to get daily emails from them. When trying to get "support" I just get a message that the support team is "busy".
I have used the website and have recently downloaded the app, I have found it to be quite useful. I am able to compare the big 2, TransUnion, and Equifax side By side. I discovered an error on my credit report from both agencies and started to file a dispute with both companies. Credit karma was very helpful with this challenge. TransUnion has resolved my dispute and corrected it, while Equifax did not allow me to go thru Credit karma to file the dispute, making me do it from their website instead. See my previous review of eq. I am STILL waiting for them to correct it. I find that the app is very useful for monitoring my credit score
I signed up for "free" Credit Karma several months ago.
My credit score was ok (over 700), but I had some bills to pay off in order to raise my score to about 800.
Since then, I paid down the balance on those bills, but Credit Karma has no change whatever in my credit score. Their info is nearly months out of date!
Now they try to sell me additional services, but their "free" services are consistently inaccurate, so how can I trust the reliability of their paid services.
Credit Karma? Unreliable, in my experience.
I log in regularly to follow my scores, stay on top of inquiries and work toward my financial goals. I have never paid them a dime. My free account has given me a sense of security and control over my credit. I am thankful to have access to the information without gimmicks or games. I haven't had any salescalls, unwanted junk mails or suspicious ads on site.
Using the information provided has helped me successfully make better decisions where credit usage was a factor. Today I got a really neat email from them, and thus, landed here on sitejabber to share my experience with creditkarma
Omg, a nightmare situation. My tragedy unfolds just like this... I have been working insanely hard to repair my credit. I got an offer from credit Karma on a loan option to pay off debit's, consolidate, or just general purpose loan. I logged in to see what my options were, I read carefully, that this would not affect my credit score to get pre approved. Ok, let's try and see what I can get, answered 3 questions, and there is goes my worst mistake ever. My score dropped 58 or and I'm sobbing until I literally had to go to the emergency room, from a panic attack. I could not believe that credit karma would do this, this is unrealistic, and I still will never ever take advantage of this offer, with at 27% interest rate. Beware all, if you think for one second that you are doing a pre- approval, they con you in, it is the application itself. But as they sent me a email earlier, it still states that it was only a pre- app. God please give me the strength. I promise I'm writing everyone, if I die drying to get my story out, I'm fighting to the end.
