Don't waste your money! Service is terrible and everything is behind additional paywalls. Want to cancel service? Too bad! Even if you finally cancel, no refunds for anything and your stuck with their awful "service" for the remainder. The user interface sucks, the lineup sucks, customer service sucks. They argued with me and threatened me on two calls to cancel and request a refund. Called my credit card and got a chargeback.

They're starting to play old movies on Telus optik Crave T. V when it's supposed to be newer movies. If I wanted to watch old movies I'd go to Super Channel, Starz, Hollywood Suite or every other movie subscription that I have On Demand. This is supposed to be newer movies but instead they have Home Alone, Die Hard, Die Hard 2 etc. Other movie channels already have that on Telus movie subscriptions. They are slow at putting up newer movies just like Telus. My question for them is what seperates them from every other movie subscription when playing old movies? Nothing. What would I need Crave t. V for if they play old movies.
Are you joking me with the $#*!ing add ons! I pay $9.99 a month and they wont let me watch home alone. Crave is a $#*!ing joke im not buying your $#*!ing add on all i wanted to do was watch home alone.
Not impressed, I wonder who has threes company, fantasy island, different strokes etc... no break dance movies, no flashdance, outsiders, or anything I watched growing up and not the best quality.
A complete waste of time and an hour of my life I will never get back. Useless from rep to supervisor to manager. No help whatsoever. Buyer beware!
Day 3 of technical problems after signing up:
I signed up and the episode I wanted came up with an error code *******.
I called them and they kept me on the phone for hours running a battery of tests, only to have a new error code generated *******. They said they would have to refer my "ticket" to "Level 2" with the promise of a call back within 24 hours. That call never came.
I called again, but this time they e-mailed their highly technical requests which I was barely able to perform without the aid of a computer genius. I was told they would be calling back no later than 9:00 P.M. last evening. That call never came.
Today, they are not answering the phones. You are put on terminal hold. They do not tell you where you are in queue. They do not tell you anticipated wait time. They do not offer customers an opportunity to leave a message nor to receive a call back.
I wish I could have millions of Canadians deposit $10.00 or more in my bank account even just for a week. I could live well off the interest their money generated.
Paid for a year subscription for crave and HBO, won't work on my Samsung TV and they won't let me link to my Telus account. Called customer service, they suggest I buy a new tv, apply tv, or Amazon stick. Told them they were crooks, they hung up on me!
Thought I cancelled my subscription, but no! Was still billed.
Wanted to cancel because the app doesn't work properly! A common occurrence as the customer service agents admitted to me.
Couldn't log in to figure out what was happening with my account so requested a password change on 2 different occasions but those emails never came. A total of 5 reset password' emails tried.
Called in. Was told that password changes could take up to 24 hours to process. When I told the customer service agent that it sounded extremely shady, he changed his story that it may actually take only an hour. Please wait.' So I did.
2 hours, still no email.
Called back. Got the run around from the most incompetent agent I've ever spoken to in ANY company. Finally was transferred to a supervisor, likely due to myself calling it the worst F*(%:#$ company I've ever dealt with.
Once talking to this supervisor, him sending the reset password' email magically worked. Upon this I told him to cancel my subscription immediately, and advised him to find a less fraudulent company to work for.

Crave is robbing customers of their $$$$ and customer service is lacking in so many ways... I subscribed and than could not sign in. I brought this to their attention for some time now, and they don't seem to care, so I am without service I paid for, can't use it and Crave will not give me back my money. Crave is not worth the time of day... And shame on them for robbing folks.
I had a monthly subscription directly through crave... then switched to receiving Crave through my cable provider. Cancelled my subscription through the online link. Apparently it never registered and have been double billed for 3 months... $#*!e customer service... took several email exchanges and then a 20 minute phone call to cancel... and they will not credit for my double payment. BEWARE and watch your credit card statements for these crooks
Crave, I cant begin to explain how much of a worthless piece of crap your app is. You have great shows but I cant watch them because your app doesnt work on my samsung tv. Either the sound doesnt work, the title bar wont disappear or in most cases the show or movie wont play. Get your lazy asses in gear and get your developers crackin on this. This app has been a steaming pile of $#*! for yearsssssss now.
Originally bought crave because I wanted to stream Game of Thrones, so I had to actually purchase the premium version. Then I started watching Handmaid's Tale and was really liking some other programs they had going. The streaming was quite iffy, and I would be kicked out often sometimes up to a week due to a sudden notification "parental controls are on." I had no way to access an option in the settings to fix this issue, so it was ongoing and very frustrating as I am a grown woman and the only person using the account, therefore it made zero sense.
Secondly, I moved out of Canada temporarily and relocated to Australia for a year. As soon as I left Canada, I had no access to the services, which I was willing to give up. When I say no access, however, I mean I couldn't even log in to unsubscribe.
So they took one payment that they shouldn't have for the first month I was gone, and after that I assumed they would cease. They charged me the second one and I was mortified! $50 stolen from my account for a service I couldn't access, and they fully intended on continuing to charge me if I hadn't found an email address to contact them through, as there is no toll-free international phone number despite what they claim. Surprisingly they finally removed my subscription so didn't have to fight much in regards to that, however they refuse to refund me more than $10 for what they ripped me off!
Save your money and time and find another way to watch your favourite shows. When I found out this company was ran by Bell I was not entirely shocked at their horrible customer service. I have worked in customer service and hospitality for 5 years and would never even consider treating a paying customer like this.
Crave tv is absolutely a waste of money. It was better when it was movie central. They would air a recent box office smash movie each Friday and Saturday. Now they air crap from 3 years ago and too much Canadian or Bollywood low budget movies.
Signed up for the one month free. After a couple of weeks and numerous attempts to find something interesting to watch just gave up. Unfortunately I forgot about cancelling the subscription and a couple of weeks after the renewal date cancelled. Now I find out that I still have to pay for the full year. They will not pro-rate a refund. Do not purchase Crave and do not take their one month free.
You will have unreliable access to content. I know my operating system, etc., this is on their end. Period.
I signed up for Crave and actually really enjoy the variety and content. Unfortunately, I spend part of the year in SE Asia for work. When I was away and tried watching it an error message stated I was outside of NA. When I contacted the call centre I was told it doesn't work outside of Canada. I asked the woman at the call centre where she was. It turns out she was in the same country as me! I guess it's ok for Bell to have a call centre in the Philippines, but not ok to service their paid customers there! BTW, my new Canadian Netflix account works fine there!
Originally subscribed to get Letterkenny. Upgraded to get HBO etc. It keeps kicking us off and tonight we have been unable to reestablish our account. Typical Bell rip off. I trashed most of our bell services due to high costs for service coupled with a recent attempted cash grab. NETFLIX is MUCH better and is user friendly in comparison to this pathetic and overpriced service.

I signed onto Crave tv, which I loved, in Canada and was relocated for work after a week of my subscription... tried to get a refund from the service because it is NOT supported outside of North America when I had tried to watch it in Europe and a bunch of reps kept on transferring me all over the place, regurgitating the FAQs and 'section this' and 'agreement that' to me on a long distance phonecall! Even the manager, after a 10 minute hold... Honestly, stop outsourcing a quality service to people who just follow a script all the way up to management, what is the point of these people if they are trained to not listen to common sense and give you attitude? You might as well not have a 1-800 number.
Seriously where is all the money going? Put money into app usability it is such a garbage app I can't believe how Bell, a multi million dollar company can't hire someone to make a usable app
Answer: I would not recommend getting CraveTV. Their customer support and technical support as well as quality is not upto the mark to compete with other service providers.
Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.
Answer: Not unless you want to rip all your hair out. Crave has serious streaming problems and mostly you cannot watch it. And if you can the sound is all tinny and canny.
Answer: Absolutely agreed. 100%. Also, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never give your payment information to ANY Bell Media company, because they will screw you. Contact the BBB to make a complaint.
Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
