Crave is a great service if you don't know how to use pirate bay but if you're even the least bit tech-savvy then I don't understand why you would put yourself through the agonizing pain that is trying to watch something on this app. There are so many complaints one could make about this service and these are complaints that customers have been having since the service launched. The constant buffering, the glitchy "continue watching" section, and the constant app crashes are just a few of the problems that have run rampant across the platform since it's launch. The fact that this bug-ridden poorly supported mess of an app is the only way to stream HBO in Canada should embarrass Warner Media (HBO's parent company) and open their eyes to syndicating their shows to multiple streaming services. For over 20 bucks a month (if you get the HBO add-on which I know is the only selling point of this app) Crave is an absolute rip off bordering on a scam. Just learn how to use uTorrent your wallet will thank you.

Android TV app is buggy and will not let you resume shoes. Go days sometimes without being able to load the Crave app. Customer service was no help with this issue. Do not buy Crave!

They automatically renewed a year subscription to cave plus HBO. Called One week after to get refunded. They customer service rep was incredibly rude. Refused to refund. What a joke. $225 stolen by this retched company.
Signed up for Crave +HBO for my Mother to watch at home on the PS4. Only to find out once I signed up that Crave doesn't have an app for PS4. I canceled and I called crave and they said absolutely no refunds. When I told them that they don't have a disclaimer on the sign up page that some devices might not be supported they then told me it's my job to check the FAQ and see if my device is supported. Disney, Netflix, Prime etc are all supported on PS4 so it isn't a far cry to go into it believing that Crave would support PS4. They do not offer enough information upfront when signing up that not all devices are supported and to check before hand. I never would have signed up for their service if that was disclosed on the sign up page. At no point during the sign up online does it prompt you to check out FAQs or compatible devices. They should have a lemon law in regards to this streaming service. If it's canceled and a refund requested in less time than an episode or if no shows are watched within 1 hours a refund should be allowed. In their TOS it says that no refunds shall be given for partial subscription periods. 5 minutes in should not count as a partial subscription period. I just paid 22.00 for a month for something my Mother can't even use now.

I signed up thinking more was included, only to find out you have to pay more for services... I cancelled within 5 minutes, only to find I will not be refunded. This is not good customer service. I will not ever use this service again. So in reality, bad customer services leads to further lost revenue. If I received a refund, I may have tried again in the future... now all hope for this is gone. Will not recommend or use the service.
There are no good movies and if you find a good HBO TV show (which is basically all they have...) they will let you watch half of it and then tell you you need to double your initial sign up fee to finish it. Crave is a money hungry JOKE. Do not buy!
I canceled my subscription and realized I was being charged on 2 different credit cards because if problems signing up initially, tried a second card. Both accounts were linked to same email which said I had canceled. Even when this error came to light they said " it's against policy to give refunds" and then have the audacity to continue charging be at the end of the month on the redundant subscription because " I missed the billing cycle" Ethically bankrupt robots for customer service
Disappointed repeat the same show on all 5 channels? What's up with that? Save it the only One good show is on Sunday NIGHT so are the other shows worth watching on CRTC channels. I'm cutting HBO CRAVE out 28$ not well spent.
This is the worst site I've subscribed to, you could learn a lot from Netflix, the programming is fine but the actually viewing is full of problems, starting the shows and during them has way to many running problems, the whole thing was a rip off to say the least, then when you watch something they cut you off of the last season or two and try to make you pay more to view them from another site all together, very sad indeed. You won't get my money any more.
Seems like Bell is trying to get away with bare minimum effort in the streaming game. The content is pretty good, but if I'm paying $20 a month for your service, I expect it to actually work. My main way to watch os on my Samsung Smart TV, but it's almost unbearable. It takes a full 2 seconds to react to any button I press (even pause/play), the "rewind" feature is infuriating. It will "rewind" but only for 10 seconds, then it starts the loop over again, but the screen shows the content still going forward, just with no sound. If you miss hitting the button at just the right time, you have to start all over again. It's very difficult with the 2-second delay. It doesn't remember where I am in a show, or even an episode so I have to keep track myself. I've added several titles to My Cravings, but they won't stay.
I also get a "no internet connection" error almost every time I use it. Don't get that on ANY other app. And guess who my Internet Service Provider is? Yup - $#*!ing Bell. Unfortunately, it's the only option for "high-speed" in my area. I have high-speed in quotes because I get a MAXIMUM of 7mbps dl speed (but I really only usually get around 4). The amount I pay for this $#*! internet should be a crime. They know they don't have to put effort into making it better, because idiots like me will pay for it because it's the only option for certain shows.

Save yourself the trouble, of residual trouble, and get Amazon prime or Netflix or Hulu, or the likes of a free one TUBI.
Called on January 1st, 2020, as they have without my consent taken an annual subscription fee (that I have cancelled twice in 2019), and when I called (multiple times, no return calls whatsoever, and on "JANUARY frigging 1st") they promised me that I will not be able to get the money back that they have made a mistake on (With many excuses and repeat words of terms and etc. that has nothing to do with the situation).
Please save yourself some headaches and do not have yearly subscriptions with this company. If for some reason you need to cancel within that time frame you will not be reimbursed. Choose only month to month subscriptions. I really don't understand why a huge company like Bell Media would be so hard nosed about this especially when there was no deal in signing up for a year, it was just more convenient for me. This company is also not registered with the better business bureau and it's difficult to get any answers from their customer service so I'll continue to warn people.
Why does this exist. As a steaming service it's awful. An example. In the middle of watching a show, series from Quebec they drop it, just gone, then I find it on extra a Telus steaming service, not paying for another garbage service. The quality and quantity of programming is terrible. Buy Netflix or prime instead.
First off couldnt take off the subtitles for any show. And only aloud to watch old episodes nothing new. Tried to watch season 5 and 6 of power. And being told I have to subscribe to Starz as an ad on for another 9.99! I mine as well go back to cable!
You have to physically figure out where you left off every time you go to watch Crave. It's a pain in the $#*!. Why can't they set up like Netflix or Prime where you easily start from where you left off. This was not meant for TV, at all.
If you never have any problems with the app or never try to cancel your subscription, Crave TV has adequate programming but is pricier and worse than other streaming services. If you ever need customer support - you are screwed. Crave TV-Bell Media's customer support is absolutely terrible. I have never been subjected to such disrespectful, unhelpful and ultimately, ineffectual customer service in my life. Save your money.

Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.

Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
