Was scammed out of 1,600 by Kathryn Burton for 2004 toyota camry LE never received my car out my cash the scammer are still contacting me. Hope this helps someone else not get scammed as well Craigslist closed in on these fake pages on their website

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND SPECIFICALLY DOUG SHORTT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF! I hired Doug Short to do top a tree for me in North Vancouver in January 2022. We agreed on a price and I told him to go ahead and top the cedar tree. He said it was a one day job although he came three times over one month with continuous excuses. Only a few hours a day. On the last day he had broken our glass patio cover. Cost $500 + to repair. He asked for payment for the job and he said he would come back the next morning to finish. I should not have paid him but I trust him. That was the last time I saw him. HE IS A LIAR AND YOU CANNOT TRUST HIM. I have at least 10 text messages where he promises to come and finish but never does. If you google reviews this is his pattern. DO NOT HIRE HIM UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUN INTO THE SAME PROBLEM. HE CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

Check out Google Reviews many of the same experience. I will be filing a civil action against D & S Tree Service.

I was seeking a room for rent. I could not find anything wrong with my post. I did state that I would not give anyone my online info such as Facebook, Instagram... etc... Instead that I would be conducting a background check on them as they can do the same thing.
The reasoning behind this is because without meeting the rental property owner they have no business asking for this information. It's easy to look up that info once you meet and you are able to to take a physical photograph of their government issued id. Never go on someone's word you don't know. Scammers evolve however we can continuously make it more and more difficult for them.

They allow ads that indirectly post for sexual encounters but flag ads that specifically says that the poster is not looking for anything inappropriate.

I am looking forward to seeing other place's of living so I will look forward to seeing this site hope it work I heard good things so far

This category is a joke. When you place your ad on here for a review of a business to let others know to beware, it always gets flagged and removed. What is the issue here? I thought that was what "Rants and Raves" was all about? Not kool!

This service seemed to me pretty flexible because it offers vast variety of opportunities. I found it when I was searching for new apartments, because my apartmenes were too old for me and I believed that it would be better to buy new apartments rather than renovate my previous apartments. So, I found here some offerings concerning apartments and bought new ones. I am really thankful to this service that it provides people with various opporutunities, people can even find jobs due to this service. Amazing, without any complaints.

Middle class lawn service. Do not try to hire anybody off of craigslist. I tried several times to remove some trees in my yard. They were small sapling trees. I got a quote from several, but they never showed. I sent the money. This is scam. The people who answer ads do not want to work they are degenerates. And I'm using the Republicans View. They are losers

There are so many bad ads there, yet they need to flag a professional legit one? What is the problem here? Maybe it's time for alternative marketplaces?
I don't know who is flagging and why when there are 20 massage ads up? This is bs or very jealous competitors?
Waste of time.
And the people there are so scared of other users of Craigs.

I've checked over every possible reason why my posting is getting flagged, and they're is nothing wrong with my posting. So I can't advertise on here without being flagged, so 1 star until or if this gets resolved. There's multiple posts like mine out there for weeks and they're not getting flagged! In the images below on the left is my post that is not viewable vs the post on the right that are the same as my post but are viewable. Why is this?

Used to be useless but fun now its just tiresome.

I have no idea why this site still exists.

I have posted several times on Craigslist and have found that most of the buyers are fraudulent or scams. Craigslist needs to implement a better user verification system.

Craigslist is pretty good if you want to sell your comics and DVDs. I made successful sales of my Superman comic books and the customer didn't try to haggle for a lower price. If the price is reasonable, you won't deal with difficult customers. Every once in awhile, there's an annoying phone call but it's infrequent. The pets section is toxic, though, so do well enough to avoid.

I've tried posting an ad several times for some household items and the ads keep getting removed immediately for no reason. There is no explanation as to why. I've followed the rules. This is just crap.

Posted a request for friends only, specifically saying no sex or I'd block them. Literally just a friends with similar interests post. Never even made it to a live listing. They have a section called "missed encounters" and it's mostly sex workers, which doesn't bother ME, but they obviously allow them. Is it because they are "straight"? I want to see this crap site fall the way of MySpace... someone please develop a better model using their idea of a national platform, and just put ads at the bottom. No one cares about small ads at the bottom, I promise. Get paid, do better than Craigslist. They are an outdated model and provide almost nothing. Someone with computer website know how please make a better site!
