Recently scammed out of $3500 from a fake cashier's check drawn on an out of state bank. I live in Washington, check drawn in Texas. If you get a check from anyone regarding a Craigslist posting - call the issuing bank immediately to validate the check. Had I done that, instead of relying on my credit union's due diligence I would not have been scammed. Beware of Craigslist phishers and scammers.

Craigslist used to be a great place to list things for sale, etc. But now it's full of scam-bots. There are better places to sell stuff including Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, OfferUp and many others. Don't waste your time with Craigslist. It's time has come and gone.

Two days ago I posted my car for sale on Craigslist. In a matter of 24 hours, I received a combination of 17 phone calls and emails from SCAMMERS. Not one legitimate reply was received. PLEASE be cautious when using Craigslist. The scammers are becoming more sophisticated in their attempts to secure your funds. Unfortunately I will no longer be utilizing Craigslist for future services.

Bad customer service they dont respond to emails and keep flagging posts for no reason...

I attempted to post on Cl advertising my legitimate modeling services. My post was clean; no type of nudity was involved, and my posting was held automatically by craigslist after being charged.
Later, I received a message from CL not to post such posts when the ad did not violate any of their terms. Very unfair.

It seems like most of the ads allowed on the website exploit women for fetish gigs. Including ads seeking to humiliate women into cutting their hair off completely that scream, some sick erotism for a low dollar amount, or adult work making it on the website. Craigslist is biased on clean posts free from adult or shady content. They use a tracker and ban people from posting even if you don't offend in your post or violate their rules. It is prominent that the site is corrupt.

They allow some pet sales ads to be posted and stay up for weeks but some they start flagging almost immediately even when they are within the guidelines listed in the TOS. Even non sales ads get flagged. Maybe they don't like their special ones to have competition. Not even sure why they are doing a flagging system that is so biased. Breeders are attacking breeders to try to make sure they are the only ones. I had a pibble mix that I was re-homing for less than the TOS required limit of $400 but the ad kept getting flagged. I checked everything but it kept getting flagged. I even started just putting in a few words and got it up for about an hour then it was gone. Flagged again. This site is huge but worthless in the pets section. They should remove it if that is what they are going to do with it.

Jobs? Menial. Selling (save "garage sales")? 90% scams. Rentals? 2,000 sq ft home $900 a month. Just click the link.

This site is sooooooo gone. Move on.

I want to post an awning on the site but my account is on Hold. I have tried contacting them multiple times. Cannot find a phone number and they NEVER respond to my emails/

I paid for to post photographer model posting for hire like everyone around the United States is allowed to do yet the Post is held for review and then flagged/removed without ever going live online. The only response I get is an email asking to not post my model ad which is very unfair as there was nothing bad in my ad at all.

Craigslist keeps flagging my ad's all cause I am looking for a long term relationship and if none of those men on there are not looking for that I get anymore dirty nasty messages off of there the BBB is getting a review on them they need to get into trouble for pornography for real complete disgusting.

You changed the profile of the sites as of yesterday on your page and now it's slower and more difficult to deal with. I would check it out 4 to 5 time's a day now it's not worth my time.

This is the most unethical and dishonest handyman I've dealt with. His name is Damien Hernandez, his phone # *******113. I would never ever hire him. He did a crappy drywall repair job in my condo. His job has been redone by another drywall specialist. When I reached out to him to give me some money back so I could pay to the guy that fixed his horrible job, Damien agreed to refund the $250 out of the $600 he initially collected. However, he has only zelle me $50 and agreed to zelle the rest $200 over a four weeks time frame. As the weeks went by I got $0 from him and every time I'd call him he'd lied to me each time that he dropped the money order to my mailbox or his zelle stopped working. Now it is week #4 and Damien blocked my phone number. Please watch out for this guy on Craigslist under "Handyman Guy", Tempe or Phoenix, AZ. Craigslist post id: *******829.

There are a couple of free section where you can post an ad for about an hour, It seems that unless you pay to have your add listed. It is flagged and then removed. The other bad things is even if you pay for the ad. Craigslist allows user to flag an ad and then have it removed. If some user has an issue with the way you word your ad, it can be flagged and removed. And your out the money.
It is a piece of garbage and I have found they do not care it's all up to the user basically. Users Beware you could and will end up spending a lot of money if you use this site. Avoid it like the plague.

Craigslist keeps flagging my ads. There is nothing inappropriate in the ad.
I post separate ads for cleaning and modeling. I am not seeking any inappropriate behavior.
The email from Craigslist tells me not to use the site for this type of ad.
However, there are several ads openly seeking inappropriate behavior:
Wood worker
Plumber
Pitch and catch
Ads that state nudity, naked or sex
Selling nude photos
There are also people who post up to 20 ads in the same category and other categories. Craigslist tells you to limit how many postings and categories you are allowed. But it's not being enforced. It also makes it difficult to find the legitimate ads.
Craigslist has become a waste of time.

I bought a little kitten from this $#*! website and they said the kitten was completely fine and healthy but when I got it the kitten had FLEAS… the cat also couldn't walk right, it would always be limping and the vet didn't even know why the leg was messed up.

Sorry to do this but to have that many people offer gigs and all them end up wasting your time thats $#*!in sad do better!

I am seriously disgusted with Craigslists and its LACK of customer service. I have followed every single guideline and yet still cannot post an ad. Really what is this site even here for if you cannot post an ad without it being flagged every 5 minutes. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. And NO customer service or anyway to reach them. Time to move on to other ad sites.

I contacted Craigslist to report someone stealing my identity for a property listing using their site and Jotform to make it appear official. Not a peep from these people and I will never use this damn site again for anything. Seems like people can murder and scam off this weak $#*! site and get away with it F**k you All‼You will REAP all of what you allow on your site right in HELL‼
