Tried to watch a movie (Cold Blood) but the show kept being interrupted by a public service ad for having a cell phone free dinner. An actually funny clever ad for not using your phone during dinner time with the family.

The problem is it runs in a loop over & over got so maddening I just gave up. Movie was pretty good what a shame.
If that commercial isn't aired CRACKLE runs another ad over & over again for another Free Movie about college debt. Why an ad for a movie that is listed & free?
A great timely subject & possibly interesting by why run that ad & not any other films or a commercial Sony could actually make money on. Weird so weird, a subtle form of torture making it impossible to bother watching any film.

I am curious what is Sony thinking? More commercials could generate revenue but a public service announcement on a stacked loop? Has Sony abandon the effort & just letting Crackle die but must wait it out to finish a contract they signed? Its no joke its beyond satire.

I can handle the commercials but do they have to SCREAM AT ME? Also why is it when you start watching a movie and then later go back to watching it, if you forward to tht point in the movie you not only get the regular 4 commercials, but after 10 seconds of movie, you get another 4 commercials SCREAMING AT YOU! TubiTV is definitely the best. They have an occasional commercial and their commercials are quieter than the movie. Actually the lower volume catches my attention and I find myself watching the commercial because I'm trying to hear what they are saying. Think about it Crackle, screaming commercials annoy people and drive viewers away from watching your app.

So, I'm watching the fifth episode of the second season of Hell's Kitchen. I pause it to go hop in the shower. Next thing you know, after I got out of the shower, the video unpauses by itself after being paused for too long. I had to rewind the damn video all the way to where I paused at. Don't ever use the app unless you want the video to unpause while you are not around. Not to mention that this app has so many ads playing in the middle of the program (sometimes it would even play the same ones at least three times).

Crackle is absolutely the worst channel of all the streaming channels. All they care about is trying to maximize their profits or the salary of the people at the top with excessive commercials. They are far worse than regular TV had ever been, which is the very thing we are trying to get away from by cutting the cord and going with Roku and streaming channels.

They force commercials every 6 minutes and they have 4 to 6 commercials. If you try to fast forward or rewind the movie to get where you left off, they stop your search and force commercials that interfere with navigating to where you left off. They play their 4 to 6 commercials and then do not go back to where you were in your search and in just a couple of minutes, less than 6 minutes, they play commercials again. I have seen this happen 3 times in a row. These idiots put the commercials in a queue no matter what you do. They also will play the same commercial 5 or 6 times in a row if they do not have any other commercials to play.

I have wasted so much time trying to watch a movie on Crackle or to continue to watch the movie by trying to find where I left off, that I finally end up screaming at the TV cursing Crackle and then exiting to any other channel. I never have this kind of asinine experience with any of the other channels. I have contacted Crackle about this and they had a very rude and inconsiderate attitude about it. They say they have commercials to keep it free for us. All the other streaming channels have commercials to keep it free for us too, but they have a much better format and are designed and set up better than Crackle and they do NOT have an aggressive, clueless, invasive system for commercials.

I think everyone should note what companies are putting commercials on Crackle, and email these companies telling them you are boycotting their products as long as they have commercials played on Crackle. Tell them Crackle creates a very negative association with their products because of their clueless and inconsiderate system for commercials. The idiots at Crackle do not want to listen to its customers/viewers so hit them where it hurts. If sponsors start pulling their ads, I'm sure Crackle will wake up and fire all the clueless morons that created their system and platform and get some people that know what they are doing.

I really thought crackle will be the best free program but it's not. It has a great good deal of options for you to watch, unfortunately I can't even watch a entire full movie. This is the third movie I have tried to watch and it has literally cut off half of the movie in the whole screen just turns black and I cannot resume to watch the rest of the movie. It is very frustrating and is no point of even watching a movie if I can't never see the ending. To make matters worse I feel like the commercials are way more longer than they should be and I see more commercials than I see of the movie and that is ridiculous. I have settled with Tubi!
