I bought as a cover for my gym bench and they do the job. They are similar to a tarpaulin material, and there is not a huge amount of tightening available with the 2 draw ties, but I wasn't using them entirely for their intended purpose. Measuring something as loose and multi dimensional as an L shaped outdoor sofa is complicated. Tramslitting those measurements to a third party equally so. I had email and phone discussions to try and get to the right place and then crossed my fingers. The cover we have is robust and certainly covers the sofa and table but both covers are noticeably too big, flopping over the turn titre and hanging on the ground - something we expressly tried to avoid.
