I ordered an evening dress ten days prior to the event that I needed it for. I paid for three day shipping. When it didn't appear on the third day and I checked the shipping status it said it was out for shipment, so i assumed it would arrive the next day. As I was traveling for work, I assumed it would be home when I returned three days later. I received via email eight days after the order a question about the size. Couture Candy had presented the dress in 2, 4, 6 etc, and I had ordered a 4. Now they were asking if I wanted a small. I emailed and called saying I had paid for 3 day delivery and why were they contacting me 8 days later with this mistake in their advertisement. They said they could not overnight the dress to get it to me for the event and would be refunding me. Bad company and I do not recommend anyone order from them.
I have been an online shopper for years now and I can't thank Couture Candy enough for excellent customer service, from ordering my dress over the phone until it was delivered to me in advance to my expected date. THEY GIVE YOU TWO WEEKS TO RETURN A DRESS... IF YOU ARE TRYING SEVERAL DRESSES YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO TIME TO WAIT FOR ALL OF THEM, TRY THEM ON, AND THEN DECIDE. THEY DON'T EVEN TAKE IT IF IT''S PERFECTLY UNWORN AND PACKAGED. BUY FROM STORES THAT ARE MEANT TO REALLY HELP YOU AND NOT KEEP YOUR MONEY FOR A DRESS YOU CAN'T WEAR.
I've seen some negative reviews on the web for this site, so I feel I should give credit when credit is due. I ordered a dress on a Weds and received it by Fri (west to east coast). The price was excellent. The exterior and interior packaging of the dress was carefully done and extremely professional. All original tags were on the dress. No workmanship flaws on the dress and it fits like a glove. I could not be happier and will buy from this site again. This was actually one of the best online retail experiences I've had in a long time.
