I've ordered from CoutureCandy on several occasions and they are always fast and accurate, as it was with this order. However, the Jovani dress I received has an awkward alignment of the pattern in the dress, which is very distracting--- The roses in the fabric suddenly cut off and the adjoining piece is white. It is right in the front of the dress, and looks odd. I am going to add a big ribbon belt to try and offset this issue.

Ordering my dress was so easy, my only disappointment was that there were only 2 sizes to choose from! The dress is just what I expected and is absolutely beautiful! My order experience was very good. I received my order and it's excellent.

The dress is beautiful for the price. The quality is lacking, but then... of course the price right? There is a double lining (yes... two of them) and neither one of them are LINING up with the dress. It's not horrible though as the dress has to be altered anyway. Overall the final product is nice.

I ordered an expensive dress for my daughter for prom from CoutureCandy.com - which sells prom dresses and other special occasion dresses - and paid $378 (with a $20 off coupon). Clearly, since this is an online store, we would not know if the dress would fit until we received it. We ordered a few dresses from a few stores in an effort to find "the one" for prom.

Upon receiving it, it did not look right for my daughter's prom (too much fabric in the skirt - it is beautiful and very good quality, but not practical for prom). We contacted the store within a few days and requested instructions on how to return it. We were given the address and told to send it right away due to a policy that is not posted clearly in their site or in the shopping cart that if they don't receive it quickly, you will end up not getting a "refund." We packed it carefully in the same shipping box and materials and sent it back, per their instructions.

Well, it turns out that even though we sent it back quickly, there is a HUGE restocking fee, handling fee and whatever else they apparently want to tack on. We were charged a $140 restocking fee (for a brand new dress with tags, never worn and never taken off the hanger except once to try it on - and returned in the same box and shipping materials). Here are the fees they are trying to justify: 45% Restocking fee plus Freight and handling cost. 45%!

During check out, there was never any mention of any restocking fee, much less a $140 one, plus a handling fee. It is absolutely outrageous that I paid $378 and am only getting a $170 when we returned it almost immediately in the exact same condition we received it in (and I paid to ship it back to them). You will note from the screenshot of their email to me that they are making "an exception" in offering me a refund of less than 45% of what I paid (versus store credit). Be prepared to get only a store credit if you order from them.

This has been a horrible customer service experience. I need to warn others to not order from this store unless they are sure they want the dress and know ahead of time that it fits. If not, you only receive a store credit and it will be half of what you spent.
