My daughter looks so beautiful in the dress I was thankful it looks like in the store. In the future I plan to buy some dresses.

I found the dress I loved in a store but in the wrong size. I found the right size on Couture Candy and ordered it and the dress arrived in one week flat. It was brand new, came on the hanger and with the tag and plastic wrapping. The price was better than elsewhere and the shipping was reasonable. I am VERY happy that I chose Couture Candy.
Very easy to deal with. Returned my first dress with ease. Ordered another dress with the credit. Customer service was great.
I took my daughter shopping and she was so excited, she found her prom dress. She tried it on, it fit perfectly, problem was it was the wrong color, so we found the correct color online. I am always skeptical about ordering online but because she had already tried this same dress on in a different store, I figured we should be just fine, everything should fit. She received her dress a week later, and upon trying it on, found that it was too small, AND the slit that should run up her left thigh, was running up the center. It was NOTHING like the dress she tried on. When i called to complain, I'm told even though this is not my error, I have to pay for the dress anyway. They will not return it for a refund, I can have store credit though. I'm certainly not going to buy this dress from you again, the first one was defective. Not only that, but I have to pay for shipping to return this one. And what burns me the most, even though I spent $550 on a defective dress that you won't give me a refund for, only store credit, the store credit is only good for 6 months. SIX MONTHS! What kind of bull crap is that? So now since I don't want your defective prom dress, you are going to keep my money if I don't find anything else that I like. What a joke! If i could give you zero stars, I would because in my eyes, this company is not worth it!

BEAUTIFUL DRESS, HOWEVER; I COULD HAVE ORDERED MY SIZE INSTEAD OF SIZING UP HOPEFULLY IN HAVING MY ALTERATION THE DRESS WON'T BE RUIN WITH THAT BEING SAID THE MAC DUGGAL DRESSES READ CAREFUL THE MATERIAL AND THEN DECIDE WHETHER TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE OR SIZE UP. THIS DRESS HAS STRETCH MATERIAL THEREFORE; I COULD'VE ORDERED MY SIZE OR DOWN A SIZE. ALL IN ALL THE DRESS AND MATERIAL IS BEAUTIFUL.
My $474.37 store credit is 15 days post expiration, obviously I lost track. I called to ask for an extension of the credit and was told that they cannot extend it but can request to reactivate my credit but there will be 50% reactivation fee. I asked to talk to the supervisor, I tried to explain that it was my first-time shopping with CoutureCandy please waive the 50% 'reactivation fee'.
Basically, I was told that: he will send an email stating there will be 50% 'reactivation fee', I must respond and agree to be charged with 50% of my credit, and only with my agreement received, he will send a request to the Accounting Department, but there is no guarantee the request will get approved.
I requested him to deliver my message to his higher management and I will be waiting to hear a response. Then he replied, "so you are rejecting our offer to reactive your credit"? I tried to explain again but it didn't get through. Overall, I spent about 1 hour over the phone.
I asked the supervisor, "I understand you didn't make the policy, but why such a strict time limit? Only 6 months and I'm only 15 days post expiration day, the credit didn't become moldy in 15 days? It is not food." He couldn't say anything.
The policy is so rigid, and it is set up to maximize the opportunities to take advantage of customers who are busy and lose track in my opinion. Such a policy reflects the principle of the store: putting customers last.
My recommendation: Don't shop there if you have other options.
P.S. I paid ~$120 to return my dress to get the $474.37 credit. Their return policy is also very strict.
It was my first-time shopping at CoutureCandy, and it will be the last time too.
I ordered $1000 worth of dresses for a company Gala not knowing which would work. I paid express shipping and it took longer than 3 days to get them. I got them in, and immediately returned them with all tags still attached. They will not refund my $1000 and offered to give me $750 and I paid $150 to ship them back! Ridiculous! I will never buy anything from there again!
I looked all over for dresses very skeptical about ordering online. When I came across this website, I went to David's bridal to get size not knowing my dress sizes. I would be a size 20 I am extremely in love with my dress. My body is portioned very different, so I had to get a taking up around my waist and my Bra area I love it…
I ordered a dress and received it 3 days later! I've never had a company be this efficient.
QUICK TO GET YOUR MONEY AND KEEP IT. I paid for expedite 2 days shipping, the item arrived 7 days later. The biggest problem is that they claim that "Returns are Easy" as stated on their home page. Also, when you click on "return policy" there is no statement to be found on the fact that they only give you store credit. I think this is a very deceptive practice. Also, it's obvious that the models in the photos have had their dresses tailored because the sizing is off by at least two sizes. The dresses look a lot cheaper and poorly made in person and are worth maybe 20% of what the store charges. I'm happy to send a photo, but I'm not sure that it will really tell you much about the problem. You can easily see their deceptive return policy by going to their website which clearly states "EASY RETURNS"
The gown was pretty and elegant but it was too long for me.
Answer: They will only offer you store credit minus multitude of the penalties regardless of the reason for the return, oh and you will have to pay back the "free" shipping. DO NOT BUY from this company!
