That processing fee hurts my feeling every time. I wish there was a set fee and not the "per package" fee which results in the fee costing much more than my contacts especially when they're part of a sale. I purchase for multiple family members which can be quite costly before the processing fee is added.

I've had a great experience w/ this US based company. Competitive pricing & a streamlined online ordering process. The last order I placed in the afternoon (on a Thursday PM) & I had received my shipping confirmation the next morning (Friday PM).

I have no idea what goes on at this company or if it's fraudulent, but I have been waiting for a month and no lenses. They said the lenses shipped but the tracking says ''pending package acceptance' which means they just created a shipping label but never brought anything to the post office. That's fraud. I hope I can get my money back and now, back to AC Lens...
They lure you in with a great price on the contacts. You then will spend time creating an account and then picking out your contacts and get them in your online cart. You then look at the total price and realize they added an extra $10.00 per box and call it a servicing fee. BAIT AND SWITCH. I called and they actually admit it and just say that to compete with the other online companies that they need to do that. The legal term for what they are doing is bait and switch. I will do everything that I can to discredit the company. If I could give it zero stars then I would.
This company added a $47 processing fee to an order of $79.96. This is an unethical markup! There response, when asked, was that other companies add a processing fee so we decided to do it too.
I ordered contacts from here at the beginning of March and still haven't received them, i have been in contact with with them multiple times in the week. They keep putting my call off and having me speak to someone else.
FINALLY the "manager" Adam call me back after two weeks only to tell me they should have been delivered already and there was nothing they could do to help me. I spent over $300 on contacts that i did NOT receive and the "manager" would not do anything to help me, he just kept telling me to file a claim with my bank if i wanted my money back and that contact lens king would not be helping me with this issue. I have never witnesses such a level of ignorance and disrespect from a "manager" at a company before, it really makes me think something shady is going on there.
The other associates i spoke to were polite but did nothing to help me except reroute me to other employees throughout the weeks. This company is not worth the headache, i wish i just paid more and ordered from a reputable company.
This is the second time I've ordered. I mistakenly ordered -3.75 & -4.00 instead of +3.75 & +4.00. My doctor indicated that he never received a confirmation request. Contact Lens King claims they faxed it and did not receive a response and that the law allows them to send the order if they do not get a response in 8-hours. This is DEAD WRONG. The law requires them to either confirm the prescription with the prescriber or obtain a copy of the actual prescription from the patient. They did not contact me to obtain a copy of the prescription and sent the wrong ones.
To make matters worse, when asked about comparing previous orders, the representative stated that they do not check previous orders because prescriptions can change. I pointed out that while a prescription may change somewhat, it is not likely to change from -3.75 to a +3.75 and that would indicate that a mistake is obvious. She just reiterated that they do not look at previous orders.
All in all, because they did not follow the law and require a copy of the prescription to be sent prior to sending the lenses, I'm now out a lot of money because they won't accept opened boxes for return.
My recent experience with Contact Lens King. They say 100% Satisfaction guarantee, however I was not happy with mine and because I tried one of the contacts in the box (how else would I know if I would be satisfied or not?) they will not accept returns. The lenses are blurry and have a ring/shadow around them when in. I wouldn't even feel safe walking, much less driving. These were my prescription lenses so I asked to return, but they would not. Hence this honest and accurate review, very disappointing.
This site was referred to me by a friend. I must say, not only to they meet or beat the prices from great sites like 1800contacts, but their customer service was quite helpful. They have toric lenses, the Softlens brand, color lenses from Freshlook and Acuvue, and several others. The first time I ordered from them, it seemed as if it was delivered to the wrong apartment complex. They asked a ton of questions {politely} to figure out what happened, and in the end, I got the products and they were great quality. I've ordered from them 3 times now, and no issues have occurred. Everything was perfect.
Answer: Price. I wish I had checked product review sites because they have excellent reviews overall. The one I chose first had a very slightly lower price but the experience was horrible and I had to cancel my order. Their overall reviews reflect this kind of service.
