Since my daughter started with this school 2 years ago it has been a complete game changer. By far the best decision we've made for her. Not only is she safer, but the teachers are so much better. The teachers are excellent and she has thrived so much more academically. She is now getting straight A's, had a 4.0+ GPA, made the principals list( basically the Dean's list for High School), and was inducted into the National Society of High School Scholars. All within just 2 years of being with GACA. She is thriving now and I wouldn't change anything except I wish we would have done it sooner.

Our son began attending Connections Academy in sixth grade and is completing eighth grade this year. He loves the program because of the personalized attention from caring teachers. We love it because he's also a serious student of ballet, and the asynchronous assignments allow him to keep up with his schoolwork while following a rigorous schedule of dance classes. Daily Live Lessons and periodic field trips and live gatherings also enable him to get to know his teachers and fellow students. The school also offers Talented and Gifted classes, which provides him with the right level of challenge. Connections is the best!

Nothing but positive my kids are the ones the suggested this they just hated going to the brick school, so glad I put the effort in to check it out. Everything so far has been positive, kids arent behind on work no complaining, and the extra freedom to work at their pace is a game changer. Any help need from sighning up to an everyday question is always answered in a reasonable amount of time. And yes sighned them up for next year to, most likly stay here till the end. I just see no reason to change and the enviorment in the brick schools dosnt see to be improveing in my eyes. The kids the parents are happy so for once in parenting it a win win both sides.

I was concerned at first but this turned out to be the best decision I made for my daughter. Not only is she focused, she is also happy and ahead. She's in 11th grade taking high school and college classes as well as participating in an internship made available by the school. She isn't dealing with peer pressure to fit in, to meet boys, or just to exist in high school. Because she doesn't see her friends everyday when they do meet up to hang out they genuinely have good conversation and a good time. Online school has helped her be more responsible with her time, with her friendships and even at home with her chores.

Our family enjoys Connexus because we are able to be flexible with how we are completing our assignments. My child has went up in all of his grade lessons. My child is very confident in his education. The teachers are wonderful always willing to help you meet of your goals. When we are struggling we are able to take the time to understand what we are learning about and help is always there if needed. We are very happy with the choices we have made for our family and being a part of Connections Academy has really helped us meet all of our goals.

2025 was my family's first year with GACA. So far, we have experienced sincere support from teachers and staff who consistently go above and beyond to support not only the students, but the entire family.

GACA truly cares about both the parent's and the students' perspectives and opinions. They openly recognize and celebrate the children's efforts and achievements, which has made a meaningful impact already. We look forward to year two and beyond!

I like connection Academy because they take pride of helping their students succeed in their studies and their gives us parents so so much support of helping our beautiful children and educating us as well of give them great ideas for their success in their lives and I appreciate connection Academy for always being there if I need help or answers the teachers help us right away! Our granddaughter was at risk of failing her classes and being threatened with expulsion at the "brick and mortal" school she was attending.
Fast forward 2 1/2 years at UCA and she is in all honors' classes, on a medical tract and taking extra classes to graduate a year earlier.
The teachers have all been her biggest cheerleaders and have instilled in her the love of learning. The level of confidence she now has, has been life changing!

My daughter expressed an interest in online school, but I kept encouraging her to stay brick and mortar. I had only heard about kids who already struggled with school, whether it was academically or socially, and did not know of any honors, self driven students who had tried online school. However, she got increasingly frustrated with the amount of time wasted in a school day. She spent most of her day waiting for teachers to deal with behavior problems with little to no opportunities for socialization anyway. They had silent lunch, walked in silent lines for class changes, etc. so I researched reputable online schools and came across Connections Academy. As a public school teacher myself, I KNOW how limiting and wasteful the traditional model of brick and mortar education can be. So, my daughter went online with ALCA for second semester. It has been THE BEST thing we have ever done. She is excelling and thriving! She has so much less anxiety and stress and pure dread regarding school. She loves how flexible it is. She gets all of her assignments done and it has really been a seamless transition. The program is soooo well organized and user friendly and she is learning so many more applicable skills for what the future looks like such as online portfolio keeping, communicating effectively with her teachers via email, advocating for herself and self managing. It has really been fantastic. The staff has been fantastic and supportive and quick to answer any questions or address any cares or concerns. As a teacher of 21 years, I truly feel like ALCA has figured out an amazing way to usher in an online program that really works! I think this is the future of education.

I enrolled my first child into Kindergarten as I wasn't ready for him to leave home for school, but I wasn't confident in creating my own home-school curriculum. This school has truly been the best of both worlds! I get the support of a teacher my son loves, the lessons are already designed for me each day but I am still there to assist my child with their learning. It's just absolutely perfect, and I love how flexible it is to my family's schedule. I recommend it to everyone who asks me!
