I had just been discharged from the hospital for blood clots in my lungs. I needed to start wearing compression stockings ASAP. I was going out of town and needed these in the next 24 hours. None of my local pharmacies or specialty stores had my size. I went to the Jobst website and chose an online retailer, this one. I went to their website, spoke with a rep online, and an order was placed for 2 pairs of stockings for overnight delivery. I paid $29.95 for overnight delivery. The next day my order did not arrive, upon tracking it I was told it would arrive in 6 days. I called compressionsale.com and they acknowledged the shipping error. They said the only way to fix it was I had to PAY for ANOTHER set and then return the first set after it arrived. I insisted they pay for their mistake and not make me pay for another order. I told them I'd return the order but I was basically told "this happens all the time and customers almost never return the mistake order". After they refused to fix their mistake I asked to speak to a manager. I was then placed on hold for several minutes and the phone disconnected. I called back and asked to speak to a manager, rep refused and wanted me to explain my issue. I went through it but they came back with the same offer - spend another $80 then send the first set back and then they'd refund me after I sent the second set back. Again I said this was not acceptable and asked to speak to a manager, again I was hung up on. I ended up calling a total of 5 times and was hung up on 5 times. The phone reps always start out sweet, innocent and super friendly but then they turn on you and refuse to transfer you to a manager. Then they hang up on you when you refuse to make a second order. If this happened at any other online retailer, they'd fix it at their expense - I have never run into such terrible customer service or desire for a company not to have return business. I ended up finding out that the pharmacy at my hospital had what I needed AND at a cheaper price so I just purchased from them. I did end up getting the socks from compressionsale.com after I came back from my trip about 13 days later so I decided to keep them, I figured if I tried to return them they'd tell me I had them too long and/or I'd never get a refund. I put them on and they feel like they've already been worn and are loser than my other pairs. This place is shady. Avoid at all costs. Check out reviews on the internet and BBB.

I had an excellent experience overall. The compression is just right and the knee-high give great support while preventing the swelling I've experienced. I highly recommend them.
I ordered these hose and then called back to order expedited shipping. I paid an extra $9.95, but the item was still shipped by first class usps mail. I called back and was denied a credit for the expedited shipping payment. The package was supposed to be delivered to Beverly Shores, IN. It was shipped to Gary, IN, then to Forest Park, IL, then to Indianapolis, IN, and then to Beverly Shores. It was shipped on Feb 12 and arrived on Feb 23. Ridiculous! I was finally credited for the expedited shipping that I was never given, but I feel that your company should provide me with further compensation. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service of your company and I hold onto hope that you will make this right. These hose were awaited by a terminally ill cancer patient. Sad.

For thigh-high and pantyhose: measure around your ankle, calf, and upper thigh. Then, measure the distance from the floor to your upper thigh (bottom of your buttocks).
