I was very disappointed in the service of this company. I placed an order on September 28th and just received it yesterday October 27.1 month is unacceptable. I needed 1 of the items to present as a gift to my Pastor for Clergy appreciation. I won't be using Collections ETC every again. Embarrassing!
Upset in California.
I had an order that i never received and Collections is supposed to do a refund. To date it has been 6 weeks and no refund They tell me it is being processed every time i call. I am done with them. They take your money but cant seem to handle a simple refund.
When I joined on June 1st 2021 I was told by several representatives that I would get 10% CASH back for each eligible receipt submitted. Not MERCHANDISE CREDIT! So as a month went by and I submitted receipts I had a total of $183.20 in cash back. Hahaha ha! So I thought. Come to find out it was in MERCHANDISE CREDIT! I called, argued with several representatives of which 3 of them told me, "yes I was qualified for CASH back" The other representatives said "no," That the cash rebate program ended in 2020! I then spoke to a supervisor who said she would contact the owner to find out a solution. She called me back a few days later and said that the owner would not compensate me in CASH as stated by several of his employees. Only MERCHANDISE CREDIT! She then apologized saying that the employees need to be educated on the policies of Collections Etc. Needless to say I dropped out of this misleading program. So I'd be very leary to join collections perk program. Stay clear!
They charged me $14.95 fee a month after I purchased an item from this company. They claimed I clicked on some membership offer at time of purchase which I know I didn't! I called for a refund and it's a month later still waiting! I called a ripped a new one to the customer service person, hopefully now they will refund! Do not buy from this sorry $#*! company.
My Mother ordered $384 worth of autumn products from Collections Etc on 8/19/21 and had hoped to receive them by her birthday on 8/30/21 but by 8/29/21 none of the items had even shipped yet. I sent an email to *******@winstonbrands.com and cc'd my Mother's email address and included her order by number. We were very pleased and surprised to receive and email reply from customer service in less than 2 hours (on a Sunday even!), letting us know that the order had been held up by two items on back order but they immediately processed payment that same day and assured me the in stock items would be shipped out right away. I am happy to say my Mother received her order today (minus the two items on back order). EXCELLENT customer service! Above and beyond expectations!
1st time ordering from this company and it will be the very last. Cheap quality clothing and merchandise. Returned all but 1 item and 1 item was defective. I called and customer service said the item would be replaced. I get an email telling me I need to pay for the replacement and they have credited my account for the broken 1. My account was not credited. And why not just send the replacement... Not good customer service...
I ordered 2 sheets sets on July 12th. Today July 27th and still no shipping email, instead an email telling me one set is on back order. I was told I could cancel in writing by email. So I did cancel today in an email. Then I called because they charged me on July 23rd. I was told no returns? What the hay? Anyway he could not help me so save yourself some time and money, shop elsewhere. I am not pleased with this company any longer. I will be writing many reviews. Portfolio Recovery is a predatory company who buys debt for a fraction of a cost. The comapny then proceeds attack a person credit. Eventhough they collected more than they paid for the debt they purchased then continue to report you as late payment. This comapny provides no useful service. The only goal I to make money off of someone personal loss such as employment. They will call call from several numbers all hours of a day. I paid 800 dollars an dhey were still calling. This comapany is a defiinon of a modern day predatory. He practice should notbe allowed,
I placed 1 order for around $140.00 and got charged for that order in full. Two days later they put another hold charge on my bank account for another $140.00. Now I have 2 charges taken out of my bank account and have to wait 6 days or better to get my other $140.00 back, if not back in my account I have to call them again. How can they charge a person 2 times for 1 order! THIS IS JUST WRONG! I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!
MADE OVER $900 ORDER MAY 6 2021, AS OF JUNE 7 2021 ORDER HAS NOT SHIPPED, NO ONE CAN ANSWER WHY, & SAME RESPONSE EACH TIME I CALL, GIVE IT ANOTHER FEW WEEKS. I'VE SENT MULTIPLE EMAILS ABOUT ORDER STATUS, WHAT'S GOING ON, AND HAVE YET TO RESPOND. THEY HAVE MY MONEY & I HAVE NO PRODUCTS OR ANSWERS. I'm waiting for the other section of my order. They sent out only ONE SIDE of the curtain and two tie-backs. The guy I spoke to was shipping it out. They tried to CHARGE ME AGAIN, only it didn't go through on my card because my credit card was fraudulently used. Now I'm calling again, and after speaking to another customer service rep, I'M ON HOLD 40 MINUTES THEN SHE DISCONNECTS THE CALL!
Was trying to order online with product discount codes. Codes weren't working. Was showing discount already applied, but it wasn't showing for merchandise discount or total. Didn't learn about extra fees until already in ordering process, which were high shipping costs, processing fee, plus tax. My discount was supposed to be free shipping and 10% off. Order totaled over $50 which was requirement for free shipping. Tried calling them to get assistance. Asked if I wanted callback and requested that. Two hours later still no callback.
They would not cancel an order I made or send it to another address. I tried to cancel 2 days before the item shipped but they said because it was "processed" they couldn't cancel it. BS. And to think I paid a "processing fee, yeh, to get screwed by them, twice. They said they would cancel the backordered item in the order, but they didn't do that either. From the past I know they also have a shady return policy, you get screwed yet again. Steer clear of them and their sister companies.
I tried to order from them. Item was on backorder. Waited for a month. Finally in but they won't ship without payment. Asked why Paypal wasn't enough. They said they were having trouble getting it so I gave them my credit card. Found out today that the order was cancelled after this. Tried management. Waited 25 minutes on hold before giving up. Don't waste your time.
Placed an order and charge was made to my bank account then I called to check on the shipping date and was told my card didn't go through and the order was cancelled then was also told the order amount charged was a dollar less and they would charge dollar from the account and reorder the item yet when I checked the status of the order they again said my card didn't go through (I know there was nothing wrong with that card) and the order was cancelled! I don't know why there was a problem with the card when the charge showed up on my bank statement but did disappear some days later!
I have placed several orders with collection thru the years and have received good service until this last order. After not receiving the order called collections who stated my bank is the one at fault because they like to "deny order to collections". Called my bank they denied the comment. Called collections back who were extremely rude when I asked a question and "wanted to know when I would be ready to hear the real reason". Again it is my banks fault for not approve the two charges in different amounts that were submitted due to a item being back ordered. Order has now been cancelled because they can not figure out how to complete transaction--took only three weeks to figure this out.
The clothing items I received were fine - not great quality but not bad. My complaint is that I signed up for a free month of the Premier Savings membership because they offered free shipping ($15) including return shipping. They have a bunch of other companies that in the plan and you can get 10% rebates from them and all the companies, and also free return shipping. However, these are REBATES, and they are not automatic. You have to type a lot of information about your order into a form and then you have to email "backup documentation" including the receipt. The receipt of the order you JUST MADE with this company. Then they take 3 to 6 weeks to "process" your submission. Then the "rebate" is in the form of "Marketplace credits", which I assume means credit for a new order, not money returned. I don't know because my rebate claim has not been processed yet. For free return shipping, you have to enter the address of the the company for the shipping label. I literally could not find the address for returns. I stopped when I realized it's been more than 30 days and they won't take my return. That's my fault, but the company makes every step complicated. It's a LOT of work and I feel like they make it hard to do so that you won't claim all the rebates that you could. I am cancelling my membership.
6/5/20 order 6 pkgs solar lights@ $84! DID NOT GET! Both husband/me serious med issues=diverted attention. Ordered 12/20, reviewed "orders." Called 11/8. Rec'd DEC 8- 6 boxes of NOT ORDERED lights. Called for refund label. Sent via email. Would not print. Called explained, told would be mailed return label and CHECK WOULD BE WRITTEN mailed to my home. NEVER GOT LABEL. Talked w/customer serv@ 6 xs. The Order # THEY wrote was wrong-it is ONLINE- so would not refund. Then I got lights so no refund! Lights sent were grabbed/mailed=NOT 6/5/20 order! Jan 1,2020, return label NOT received. ALL CS reps tell me "will mail'-- "will do"... have NOT. LOT OF $, wrong lights sent 6 mo after order=they have NO intention of refund, mail refund label, etc. Been customer for@ 20 yrs!
I ordered toilet safety rails for my wife who had a serious accident and paid extra for expedited 3-5 day delivery. She needs this for her independence. They shipped the wrong product by standard delivery; it took 3 weeks to arrive. I live less than 100 miles from their location. They refuse to ship the correct product until I return the wrong item. Using standard delivery in both directions it will be another month before my wife receives the safety rails. They are charging me $7.99 for the return. I will never use Collections again.
Ordered a product 12/2/20 called 12/3/20,12/15/20 and again and again on 12/24/20. Was told everything would be taken care because I never got my product as it was a Christmas gift. Super unhappy as they probably had no intention on sending me anything. Don't put yourself through the stress of using this company.

Answer: Not sure if you have already resolved this or not but customer service email fir collections etc is [email protected] They are very helpful and promptly replied to me when I emailed them. (Within less than 2 hours on a Sunday, they replied to me.)
