Buyer Beware
March 6, 2018

I ordered a sectional sofa from Coleman and it included free "white glove" delivery. I also purchased an extended damage warranty. The first red flag was that on 2 separate occasions they untruthfully told me that the delivery company had my furniture and that they would be scheduling delivery within 2 days. After 2+ weeks of this, the delivery company did actually receive the furniture. On the day of delivery, there were 2 movers. Both of them began to complain the second they walked in the door about having to place the furniture in my basement. They indicated that they were not aware of that detail and it looked like there might be some corners that were going to be tight. So before they would proceed they stuck a cell phone in my face and said that they would not complete the delivery unless I signed a waiver to "release them from any liability for damage to my walls or door openings". So as a customer excited to get my new furniture, I signed. Well, they didn't damage any of my walls or doors, but they did manage to tear a giant hole in the cushion of the couch. After this happened, I declined the delivery and requested that it be returned for a replacement. After contacting Coleman to discuss what had happened, they abruptly and rudely proceeded to tell me that because I signed the above mentioned waiver, they will not be replacing the furniture. Nor will they be refunding my money. After recovering from my initial shock, they went on to tell me that they would actually issue a refund. BUT ONLY OF 1/2 OF WHAT I PAID FOR THE FURNITURE. They deducted a 15% restocking fee plus an additional $250 in shipping charges. After I objected, they refused to discuss it any further and basically have left me hanging without $500 of what I paid for furniture that I never even got. I even tried to see if the accidental damage coverage I purchased could be used to replace the furniture. They declined that also by relying on the "terms and conditions" line. Apparently, the accidental damage doesn't cover anything until it is actually sitting in the exact spot in your house it was intended. BS!
BUYER BEWARE. THEY THRIVE ON SMALL PRINT AND HOAKY WAIVERS. THEY WILL NOT HELP IF YOU ENCOUNTER THE SLIGHTEST OF ISSUE.

Crappy, defective product. Terrible delivey service. Customer service refused to replace or refund because we didnt see the problem at the time of delivey. If you dont write down the problem on the paperwork they wont help you. And they didnt give us paperwork to write it I on. Jerks! $2200 and 3 months of hassles for an entertainment center that is a piece of garbage!

This was our first time to order furniture online. So we ordered a living room set built by a familiar company, sold by Coleman. This was a positive experience for us, from placing the order, to the delivery/set up. We knew ahead of time that delivery could take up to 2 months, but the savings was worth it! We are happy with our furniture!

I had never heard of Coleman Furniture before I purchased this bed frame. I found this model elsewhere at a much higher price but then did a little research for the best price. That's where Coleman came in. Not only were they the cheapest but free delivery and setup? Talk about a win-win. Communication and delivery was spot on and the quality was actually better than I thought. I'd definitely look at Coleman again if I'm in the hunt for furniture.

... until I discovered Coleman Furniture. I found exactly what I was looking for on their site, and it was by far the best price anywhere. Customer service was greatly helpful. I've already recommended Coleman Furniture to friends who are looking for furniture and hadn't considered buying furniture online. I see other reviews complaining that it took two months to receive their furniture. That's how long my delivery took as well, but that is a reasonable expectation in my opinion.

NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE

I finally received my bedroom set TWO entire months after placing the order. When asked if order could be canceled the sales rep recited the return policy to me stating that the customer has 24 hours after ordering to cancel the order or the customer will have to pay a 15% restocking fee. So 15% of 1,200. No thank you. Once the bedroom set arrived and was assembled I was not happy with one of the nightstands. In order to exchange the nightstand for the one I wanted I would be charged a 15% restocking fee PLUS shipping ($223) the same amount as the nightstand! No problem, just call corporate office, am I right? Wait, no such thing. And the "supervisor" who is just above the sales rep is the HIGHEST on the chain of command (what I was told). So basically no solutions just disappointment.

Second order:

Purchased a sofa table on 12/19. Today is 2/13 and have yet to receive table in one piece. I was contacted stating that the table had a broken leg and would be delivered once part is replaced. After a few more weeks of waiting I tried to cancel thinking this is a legitimate grounds for cancelling I am in the right I should not have to keep going through this with this company and surely the restocking fee will be waived. NOPE. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was immediately told that he is in a "meeting." Asked to speak to the next person on the totem pole and was told that that person doesn't exist and the supervisor who is in a "meeting" is the only person who can help me with this issue. If unhappy with the supervisors response there is nobody to report it to. I wanted to part ways with this company losing as little money as possible and while not being satisfied I could at least not feel scammed. Instead I am extremely unhappy and out $200, still do not have a table, and stuck with a nightstand I hate.

Dimplex Media Center

We recently ordered a Dimplex media center from Coleman Furnature. After shopping around, we found what we really liked and Coleman had the best deal by far. They communicated throughout the entire process and the delivery and set up was included. They were courteous and helpful whenever we spoke on the phone. In addition to the media center, we received a protection plan for no additional cost to us. When we are looking for new furniture, Coleman will be one of the first places we will shop.

Price was right. Paid in good faith. There delivery company is horrible. Delivery was scheduled for 8/2/2018 took the day off it was supposed to arrive between 2 and 5PM. At 3:30PM i use their tracking system said at stop 10 and I was stop 11.5:15PM tracker said at stop 13, they skipped me. Called their delivery crew at 5:30 left message. Get call back 15 minutes later. Was told truck had issues but repaired be there in an hour. 6:15 get voice mail truck was down again someone will call me Monday. I get a call Monday am was told they ran out of hours on the 2nd. Rescheduled for Friday 2/9 before noon. 2nd day I had to take off! NO delivery at 1pm and I call delivery service was told had me for Friday now 2/16! Two days off from work to date and told them to cancel it not taking another day off for another supposed delivery. Call Coleman basically told tuff_hit take delivery now on 2/23 or get charged a 15% restock fee! They could care less that they cost me two days off already and i am not taking a third day canceled order and will file a complaint with my credit bank for a full refund! Restock fee? You cant make the delivery twice now! Will never buy from them again and tell others not to. Terrible customer service.

Good purchase

I'm pleased with the dining room table I bought from Coleman. I got the best price I could find after searching the web and the table is beautiful. Delivery took a long time but that was the fault of the delivery company. I can't complain too much about that because it was free delivery and they brought it into the house and assembled it for me. I would buy again from Coleman.

I'm in love with this piece of furniture. Great bar height dining set! Looks expensive and was very easy to assemble. Table is sturdy, stools are easy to adjust to the height you want. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

We wanted a Hekman chairside table that our local furniture dealer showed us in their catalog. They quoted $299, which seemed fair. I came home, did an internet search, and discovered Coleman Furniture offered the same table for $100 less and free shipping. I placed an order, which was delivered in 1-2 weeks.
First impressions are important, and this was a very positive experience. We'll definitely shop at Coleman Furniture in the future.

I received my living room set damaged. The delivery man got customer service on the line. The girl informed me that if I had read the fine print, I would know that Coleman has the option of fixing damaged furniture, rather that replacing it. Please read the fine print, and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am sure if the delivery people had not damaged it, my review would have been different, but here we are.

Love this table!

Wonderful quality and amazing looking table for a great price! Highly recommended! Bought 3 24 inch bar chairs to go with it. Put it right behind my sofa so we can eat at it and watch TV at the same time without holding plates on our laps.
