I used to work for Coldwater Creek back before they filed for bankruptcy, and I love their clothes. I've been looking for shirts I can wear on my job that are simple, comfortable and professional, and when I heard that the Creek was still around, I knew their No-iron shirts were just what I needed. Its a shame that shopping with them is so frustrating, because few companies have clothes that fit me so well.
I am very heavy, and it's hard to find good quality clothes that fit me and are still meant for someone middle-aged. When I found the website, I immediately ordered a shirt, just one, to make sure the fit was the same. I never found out. The shirt never arrived. I watched on the tracking as Fed Ex got it as far as Memphis and then it disappeared. Not CWC's fault, but frustrating all the same. They refunded my money and offered me a discount and free shipping on my next items.
So, I bought a similar top and a tank to go under it. While the clothes are everything I remember, I'm a little frustrated that it took so long for them got get to me--nearly two weeks--for an exorbitant shipping fee. Two-day was only $5 more, I should have gone with it. Included in the packaging was a certificate for free shipping that expired, literally, the day I got my package.
But, the clothes were everything I needed and hoped they would be, so I got online to order more. I chose a shirt, a tank to go under it and the free cami they were offering. This is where things got me steaming.
They apparently ran out of the shirt AS I WAS ORDERING IT. That's right. It went in to my bag and then I couldn't buy it because it was gone. I couldn't find any of the tanks in my size. I went back to choose different colors and found they were suddenly sold out of a lot of colors in my size.
I love CWC clothes, and I want to buy them. But I can't buy what they don't have. I need to decide whether or not it's worth the frustration to remain a customer.
If you don't know how it fits, what the fabric is or how it will look on you, how can you possibly justify spending several hundred dollars on anything? You drive a car before you buy it, you try on shoes, but see a dress company online and it never occurs to you that it might not suit you... why?

We want all of our customers satisfied and hope we open a store near you soon so you can enjoy our great brand and shop how it suits you.
Tried them again…. Took longer this time to get my credit… 3 calls, and they tried to tell me I didn't return all the items. 4 months later I finally got my money back for returns. Most companies will email a verification they received the items when you return items…. Not this one, you have to realize you didn't get your credit (if you remember) and call them for it. Not ordering from them again! DONE

While I like the products from Coldwater Creek, the Customer Service line is terrible. I called with a question about an order and got a recording that gave me the option to get a call back instead of staying on hold or of waiting for approximately 14 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes while listening to the same song over and over, I decided to call back in and leave my number for a callback. Approximately ten minutes later, I received a call that ask me to hold and said that I was first in line for the next representative. Thirty-five (35) minutes later, I still hadn't moved off hold. Seventy-five (75) minutes on hold and no ability to talk to a representative. Ridiculous! Don't offer a callback option if the customer still is going to have to hang on indefinitely to talk to a presentative.
Please accept your humblest apologies for your experience. We experienced several problems with our Courtesy Callback feature that day and should have disconnected it sooner. The feature is up and running smoothly now. We experienced tremendous volumes on July 8th due to our Clearance sale.
I was formally a regular customer with Coldlwater Creek. I can definitely see why their stores closed, and I hope the same happens with their catalog.
I was charged $6.95 to return clothes that were totally inferior quality.If that is not bad enough I was also not refunded my sales tax of $8.12. Why am I to pay sales tax on merchandise I returned?

Your sizing is all wrong. First way too large then I returned and what was a $60 pair of linen shorts was credited back for $29. Ridiculous! Oh the shorts are not on sale so don't try that excuse I checked. Never ordering again!

A smart business would hire professionals who know what to do. If you try to order and you in Hawaii -forget it. Their explanations are beyond belief - why can't they organize their shipping and customer service. Send a spy over to Draper and Damons or to some other reliable order catalog service that knows how to deal with customers.

I loved these pants, but they were way too big (in my usual size), so I sent them back requesting --on their exchange form-- a smaller size. When I heard nothing for 10 days, I called and was told they couldn't tell me if they'd received the pants, they couldn't tell me if they would replace the pants, because "that's the warehouse," and they wouldn't email me if they did... I would have to call or email them if I wanted information. I subsequently emailed twice asking if my return had been received and my pants would be replaced. No response. So I called, again, after waiting almost three weeks for the smaller pants. I was just told my purchase price had been credited to my credit card (it hasn't been) because that's what I requested. That is not what I requested. I wanted the pants. It still want the pants, but apparently can't have them. (He also told me I ordered by phone, when I actually ordered online.) Customer service is totally incompetent. I've bought Coldwater Creek clothes for decades, in stores when that was available, and online. Never again. And they were such pretty pants.

I ordered a jacket more than 7 weeks ago. I received a camisole instead. I called customer service to get the jacket. It was out of stock, so tough luck on the jacket. I sent the camisole back 6 weeks ago, followed up with an email request for my refund after 3 weeks. Was told it wasn't yet "showing up" as a return, that I had to wait for 10 to 14 business days after the warehouse received it. Still waiting. This is unbelievable. Too bad, because their merchandise seems nice, but not worth this hassle.
NOTE: Once Leanne became involved, I did receive my refund, six weeks after I returned the merchandise. While relieved to get my money back, I'm sticking with the one-star rating.

Several years ago I purchased some T shirts that I liked. A few months ago I wanted to order some in different colors. The reviews for the shirts were terrible, but I ordered anyway. When I got them, I realized the reviews were correct. They were far inferior to the originals. I had to donate them to a thrift store.
I wrote a review, and received an email saying that my review violated their review policy. I'm not sure why. There were tons on negative reviews about these shirts, I don't know why mine was singled out except that I compared the quality to that of a known cheap discount store. I wrote a different review and submitted it. When I went to check if it had been posted (I hadn't heard anything this time.) I discovered that ALL of the negative reviews had been removed! Nothing but 4 and 5 star ratings were there. Stay way!
Once you make an order you won't get shipping or tracking info, you won't know if or when you will actually receive your order, and God help you if you want help from customer service. When this company was sold, I assume it was bought by a concern that needed a business to tank for the tax write-off.
I gave it one star because after I finally received my last order after a nearly 2 month wait, I wasn't disappointed with the quality.
I bought a dress for a June event. Received and took out of box. Strong chemical smell to the dress. Didn't think too much of that other than it sure would need to be aired out. Tried the dress on, wasn't real happy with the fit. Waited a few days until my daughter came over and tried dress on for her, she agreed with me that the underarms were cut too low. I decided to return the dress with the given smart post label. A couple weeks later I received the dress back with a note in the box stating they don't accept worn clothing. Well I did not wear the dress! A better explanation would have been helpful. There is no soil anywhere on the dress and the tag is still on it. Customer service defends their "inspection dept" and I asked if I can talk to the inspection dept to find out why they feel this dress has been worn. I was told that's not possible. Customer service says maybe I should try sending the dress back again. Now I feel I'm between a rock and a hard place. Do I buy another box to return the dress (because the original box is very damaged from all the shipping)? I don't even have a smart post label to return the dress. Will the dress just be sent back to me again with very little explanation? To say the least, I'm not a very happy customer! This was my first time buying and my last. This was a very weird experience!

Ordered 4 items in Dec and paid for all 4 itemsw gift card. Received 3 of them within a couple weeks. Fourth one on back order til early Feb. NO emails from CWC confirming status of ANYTHING- I had to call them to find out. Those call were handled by very poorly trained customer service individuals who took over 15 minutes to confirm status!? Three weeks into Feb, still no fourth item. Called customer service. The had NO info on its status i. E. when it would be back in stock/shipped. When I inquired into possible alternative color for same fourth item, I was asked for credit card number as if I should pay AGAIN for fourth item!? I will never never never buy anything from CWC. Product quality average, customer service dismal. Plenty of companies out there with better products and service.

I ordered items from coldwater creek for an upcoming business trip. I got a confirmation and my items were shipped. Their expected arrival was more than 3 weeks from my order date. I still might have gotten the order in time, but after the order arrived in my city there was an "exception " because the address was incomplete and it could not be delivered. I called and asked what the problem was since the address provided in my confirmation was correct. They informed me that the address was too long, so the end had been cut off and there was nothing they could do. The item is going to be returned to them and I will get a credit. It is still 7 days before my trip. I inquired if the items were still in stock and they could reshape the, so that I could get them in time for the trip. They assured me tha5 the items were in stock, but there was no way that I could have them within 7 days. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will neve4 do business with them again. Talk about lack of consideration for a customer. Also, who does their shipping labels? Couldn't they see that part of the address was missing?

First they lose my order and don't inform me. So I reorder and pay extra for 2 day shipping so I will receive order before I leave on vacation. I call several hours after I made the order to enquire about tracking number and am told the order is on backorder and will not be shipped for two weeks, at which time I will be billed extra for two day shipping.
I clarify this won't work since I am going on vacation and request cancellation. They inform me that I cannot cancel an order that was made several hours ago and is on backorder and won't be shipped for two weeks. A supervisor tells me the same.
So I dispute the charge with my bank and notify CC they will not get paid if they ship this order while I am on vacation.
Next follows 24 hours of the most ludicrous emails you have ever seen from CC. One series says order is cancelled, won't be shipped. Another series says order will ship in two weeks. And the final series says the order was shipped an hour ago and will be at my house by tomorrow.
Customer Service tells me opposite things in writing on the same day! They apparently will not cancel an order, even immediately, once you make it online, and do not tell you if your order is on backorder, and charge you expedited shipping even if your order will be shipped weeks late.
The only time they paid any attention was when I told them the bank will not pay them, and then suddenly, the order was no long on backorder, and is being shipped overnight.
This is a serious scam. Beware!
I ordered several items. One was back-ordered until 11/26. Well here it is 12/20 and I still have not hear back from them about the item. Is it being shipped or not. I sent at least 4 emails and have not heard anything. This is very poor customer service. At least let me know what is going on. Am I going to get this item or not?

Not only did they ignore my MULTIPLE emails, they only credited my account (for an item I neither ordered nor received) until I disputed the charge with American Express. They are the WORST. Ever)
I bought a coat that did not say it was on back order. When I hadn't rec'd it 3 weeks later I saw that it was on back order so I cancelled the order. I received an email from CWC that it was cancelled on 10//12/18. On November 19th out of the blue, there was a charge from my bank for the cost of the coat, I was pretty broke at that time and had just enough in my acct for some upcoming bills so this was about to cause an overdraft. I immediately contacted Cust Service, they took forever to get back to me and when I called they were very rude and condescending and said there was nothing they could do. I'm not sure why, the coat wasn't even mailed yet and had been cancelled over a month previously. Well I got hit with the charge and they would not cancel my order before the coat got shipped out. So I had to wait for it to get here, the return it. I returned it on 11/23 and just got an email on 12/17 that they finally just rec'd and will refund my money (haven't seen it yet) in 3-5 days. I also think they should pay the overdraft fee that could have been easily avoided on their part, i never should have even been put in the position to have it.
They never once were the slightest bit apologetic when the whole thing was entirely their fault. I still have my original email dated 10/12 that it was cancelled and no money would be charged.
I was a pretty regular cust of CWC but they will never see a dime of money from me after this terrible experience. The company and especially the customer "service" is CRAP. I see now why they went out of business in the first place, they should have stayed there.

Returned an item with Smart label provided with my order. Over a week later, I still have not received notice of refund. I emailed customer service twice and never received a response. I called the 800 number, spoke to Jasmine and was told a return takes 4-6 WEEKS to process! Absolutely unacceptable. I will never order from Coldwater Creek again!

Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
