Truly awful customer service. Refused to honor their promise credit for referring another customer who signed up for a paid recurring account. They claimed that they did not use my referral link, which is patently false. I suspect they make it look as if they did not use it. We provided evidence that I generated and sent her the referral link and she went on to get a membership but they did not care. Any halfway decent business would act in good faith, recognize the referral and honor the commitment but they chose not to based on a technicality which I highly suspect is rigged on their end to make it appear like the referral link wasn't used when it actually was. In short, their overall low star rating is 100% warranted.
Talking to customer service is like talking to a goldfish. I had repeated problems booking with my favorite salon. Long story short, after WEEKS of back and forth, I got so frustrated with classpass that I ultimately asked for a refund of my ~80 credits and to just close out my account. Rather than giving me a full refund, they refunded roughly half of what the credits were worth, closed the account and I could no longer access the remaining credits they didn't refund. They have yet to respond to my request for a full refund or at least restoration of half the credits I'd paid them for. Such a scam, and disappointing because I'd been a customer for years. Save your money.
I must warn consumers of my horrible experience with ClassApp - not only was I unable to book ANY classes with the app but it tried to charge me $99 without any warning or notice even before my free trial was up! I must warn everyone out there NOT TO TRUST this app! It is the worst app that I have come across in my life and it is a FRAUD!
I want to warn anyone thinking of using Class passn be warned. Their incompetence is beyound frustrating! You can never get a staraight answer when there is a problem. They pass you from department to department. When you want to cancel your agreement n they will not let you do it. Dealing with class pass my family has had the worst experience possible. I do not recommend them to anyone!

Let me first say I am extremely disappointed in class pass for advertising a bogus establishment and taking my money, but also putting me in a very uncomfortable situation.
I walked into body relax massage for my 330 appt having already paid on ClassPass only to be told they don't accept that and I need to pay them cash now. Then the front desk woman says also that they don't accept appointments through any platform and why am there if they close at 2. Well, The door was unlocked and I walked in for my scheduled appt time so why are they open is the real question.
I showed her the app and showed her that I paid for an appointment time. She repeatedly said in broken English "no you pay me now in cash". Mind you, I haven't even received a service or confirmed that I had an appointment.
The business itself signs up with these apps so they know they are taking appointments on them and charging. This is completely out of line for such an established app and "massage studio" I hope to never encounter such a situation again.
They charge you every month, and the credits you get EXPIRE the next month. They dont send any notifications on charges, and are running a fraudulent subscription service preying on people who don't check their statements. All your money vanishes into their pockets. ClassPass has no way your can speak with a live person. You must use the chat feature to resolve an issue. This process is horrific, no one answers or find a solution to your problem. It's a waste. I have cancelled class pass as my credits were removed after my subscription was renewed. DO NOT recommend!
I'm the owner of a business. Doesn't matter how many times you reach out to them, they totally ignored you. Don't use it!
This company have stolen over £1000 from me over an 18 month period. I started a free trial which I immediately cancelled. Not only was this cancellation not actioned, but they automatically started me on their most expensive package which was £65 a month. I did not notice this as it was coming out of my credit card which I dont monitor as closely. Having noticed how much money they have taken I contacted them and pointed out that for the entire time I was subscribed to them I did not use the service once. They said that I was very fortunate as they would agree to cancel my account!?! An action which I had already taken myself. There are lots of others on here with a similar experience and they are very happy to steal your money and leave you with no recourse if you dont notice in time. AVOID at all costs.
DO NOT TRUST this merchant. They are charging me for a subscription for Minneapolis and I don't even live there. I contacted them stating this and requesting a full refund and they refuse to give me one. Terrible customer service and this company is fraud.
I can not believe so many people falling for this scam. They have the most unfair and dishonest cancellation policy. If you cancel your membership they will take back the credits for which your have paid in the past month. They will cancel any appointment you have made which is after your membership end date, even if you have booked the appointment using credits for which you have already paid. I wish I could complain against them in consumer court!
Class pass is a scam. Please avoid. Sharing the word to help others. They don't have any real customer service and steal your credits if you decide to pause renewal.

Every appointment I make is cancelled, I do not think it is your intention to be a scam, but that is what it has been for me recently. I used to use ClassPass and love it, however recent changes to your model have made it so credits are unusable and frustration has become expected when booking through you. You have options available to book that are not real places, you have providers that explicitly told you they don't want to be on your platform, there are businesses that make requests and ClassPass doesn't follow through (ID of card used to book) causing appointments to be cancelled, you have time slots that are not available yet still confirmed.
You're trying to stay afloat by offering more than you can provide and therefore actually putting yourself farther behind. Reassessment is needed. You policy not to refund points & money that is actually unusable (look at my account) is unfortunate to say the least. I will be disputing the charges from you and leaving accurate reviews anywhere I can find to do so, in hopes of giving other potential customers a warning. I am very happy to be out of this misleading & abusive arrangement.
WORST MOST CORRUPT COMPANY. Continue to unknowingly bill customers for services not used. When disputed on my credit card because I found out I was getting billed and couldn't contact ClassPass to cancel they disputed the charge and continued to charge me. I've neve been so appalled by a company and so surprised that they can continue to operate. I would advise anyone to avoid ever trying this service.
I had a gift card to use - Class Pass insist you create an account including your credit card to use the pre paid gift card. They immediately charged my credit card for one months subscription which I did not want - they refuse to refund the fee - basically they fraudulently take money without permission
A subscription to classpass is just subscribing to give them free money! I would say only join if you like throwing your money away! It actually would be more entertaining to just burn the money it that case!
My membership just started and I now realize that I don't have access using Classpass, to all offered classes at all of the locations that I checked. I was looking for a beginner barre class. I found them listed at two locations near me, but when I try to reserve a spot using Classpass, I'm not shown those options. So this $90.00 isn't doing me much good. I thought I'd read the fine print, but must have missed this detail. It would have been better for me to pay a specific location directly. The trick is to cancel before the next billing and try to use up these silly passes.
Got lots of saving using my classpass monthly subscription, though squeezing time to sneak and use the credits, but gets superb service everytime from all the establishments I go to. Thank you classpass.
Their fines are extortionate and even if the facility is ok to change the reservation, classpass won't allow it and will charge you £12/£15. As a frequent, almost daily, user, it gives me anxiety to book in advance. Im a single, working Mum and sometimes, things happen! But I want to be able to workout without getting charged double if something happened, compared to how much I use the service, it should be a curtesy to respect their customers. I understand a penalty, but this is just too much now. I will be using facilities directly in future.
While I checked my bank statement, I found out that ClassPass has been charged me 99 per month since March until September without I knowing. I'm so amazed by the new method of earning their money. I chatted with CS TEAM, and they said they only can refund me 3months fee.

Answer: I was having a good experience until I tried to change billing date and things got complicated. I was still billed on date I was trying to change was advised I will need to cancel then reactivate account. Even though I was charged it is showing I don't have any credits. I tried chatting and getting this figured out but I am being told I don't have credits even thought I just paid. I tried cancelling several times and its always a chat nightmare,
Answer: Great concept... terrible execution and company. Someone please hurry and make a better company using this concept because the idea was actually quite good but I refuse to give them anymore of my money.
Answer: Oh, it's easy to get a hold of Customer Service but THEY WILL NOT HELP You if you need a refund for an erroneous charge or a mistake ClassPass has made. They'll simply tell you over and over they can't issue any refunds no matter what even if you haven't used a single credit and no physical property has been exchanged.
