I paid for the 3 month subscription and in less than a month my account was hacked and they changed all my information, removed pictures, sent out mass messages etc and now I can't log back in, can't delete my account, nothing. Apparently this is a rampant issue with CM. Be VERY careful on here
I literally had to change my credit cart and file for a fraud report to get these guys to stop billing me. They make it literally impossible to cancel their subscription. They are THIEVES! They will rob you blindly and make it impossible to get a refund. Report them to your banks for fraud.
Their security sucks. I meet a man who I found out later had been married for 43 years. I found this out at a later date. I also found out he had another girlfriend who he defrauded out of $20k after SHE CALLED ME. They had met on CHRISTIAN MINGLE also. CHRISTIAN MINGLE'S RESPONSE, OH, WELL, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE. So if you meet some one on this site, its just as unsafe as all the others. Predators abound.
I sign up for this site and paid for a month. After couple of weeks Of using this site I decided I don't want to continue paying monthly and will just use the remaining time I paid for, but that didn't happened as the site lock me out completely. I can't even change my password or anything it's not accepting the email I enter I know I'm using the right one. I didn't violate any of their rules or anything. I just think it's a scam once you don't want to pay for it anymore they kick you out of site right away even though you haven't use all the time you paid for. This site is not about helping someone find love is all about scamming money from people and that's not being Christian
A Total scam! I received dozens of smiles every day from women all over the US and other conterys. I'm 53 years old and I know my playing field, there's now way on gods green earth these women would be interested in me. Not to mention the numerus messages stating they have a friend "Not on the site" that is perfect for me and she's really into my profile and here's how you contact her, Really? Do Not Join this site! The owners of this site have lots control, just don't care or they are part of the scam.
This site will steel your information and use your profile to make it look like there are more members after you have deactivated and deleted your account. This caused me quite a lot of grief in my current relationship as you can imagine. This site is full of scam artists abs fake profiles. I wonder how many of the profiles are like mine that aren't active and we're removed by the owners only to later be put back up by the site to make it look like there are more users than there are. I wish I could give 0 stars
I have had this identical experience twice. In October 2019 I created a Christian Mingle account. I had very little time to Search after filling out all the info they request and so I only Searched for about 10 minutes. Results looked reasonable. Within 2 hrs my account had been TERMINATED. I attempted numerous times to find out why - Christian Mingle would not give me anything other than their Terms of Service document. It is about 10 pages of legal gobbledegook, so you are left with no idea why you were TERMINATED. I had provided accurate, up-to-date info about me so I have no idea what the problem was. And they would not respond to any requests other than to send a link to Terms of Service.
In mid January 2020 I decided to try again. I provided a different eMail address (the first address was REJECTED). I logged on and the Search results were very scant (very few results). I (perhaps foolishly) elected to PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION this time. I looked around for about an hour and logged off. About 12 hrs later I get eMails that my account has been TERMINATED doe to a Terms of Service violation. Again I have attempted to find out what the problem was and all I get is a link to their Terms of Service. I also received a notice that a refund has been initiated.
The number of results from my Search was pathetic - only 5 people with no criteria other than a generous age range. So I am probably lucky they kicked me off.
They have certainly perfected a reliable way to run themselves out of business! More power to them, given my experience!
Although the membership was pricey, I actually paid for it so I could receive messages and matches. Unfortunately, I don't think the membership fee they charge is worth it because the amount of engagement your profile receives is very very low, or if none at all. You will rarely get messages, likes, and views on Christian Mingle. I'm guessing it's because most people don't pay for the membership, which is too expensive!
Well, after reading many reviews, I don't feel so alone! While there are probably many good intentioned people on this site, for the most part, I found that I got too many out of state people who contacted me - all with the name "Mingler... and a number after it." None of these people had pictures or very much information on the site.
Today I was definitely scammed by someone who posed to be someone he wasn't! I felt very uncomfortable by the text messages that he sent me (my fault for giving him my cell phone #!), and when I spoke with him, he had a very thick accent and was hard to understand. He hung up when I told him that I was uncomfortable with his text messages and our phone conversation. I felt so violated that I was taken in by someone who looked like a nice man - only to find out that it was someone who was trying to scam women.
I deleted my profile and have a no intention to return. The administrators on this site have to do a better job of screening its members. The site doesn't live up to its name of being very Christian when they do little to protect their members!
The app doesn't work... Actually I'm offended as a Christian that they operate as they do and steal people's hard earned money. The profiles you see on the free side are exactly the same ones you see after you pay a RIDICULOUS amount for more profiles? REALLY? The app on Silver Singles is so much better. They match you with your preferences. AND there are Christians on that site. In my opinion Christian Mingle is a scam. They got my MONEY once but never EVER again. ****The only reason christian mingle received one star is I had to choose something. In my true opinion the get ZERO STARS*****
Recommendations are of people out of my requested range, not of the same race, body size, nothing. Doesn't make sense - why ask me my preferences?
Also - too expensive
Website is slow to load.
Asked for money to join with 8 members near me. This site is bogus. Their approval of pictures takes too long. Just another fake website
Waste of time and money. There were literally just a handful of people in my region within 50 miles. But you get constantly hounded by anonymous people without pictures from all over the country on a daily basis. Also get people contacting you for their friend and wanting you to give them their email. Obviously I didn't. This site is constantly experiencing connection problems. So disappointing that a Christian site he's so poor!
After wanting to go on a date, i kind of started the profile but then backed out. For the longest time Christian Mingle hounded me until I finally caved. I should have listened to my first instincts. Now I'm out $75.00 hard earned dollars and for nothing! Not one person replied. Out of all the fake profiles you would think there would be something. F. Y. I. there are NO pretty girls that are real. Save your money guys!
I've subscribed to several of the top rated dating sites, and CM was listed on everybody's top 10 sites.
Well, needless to say, I was very disappointed.
I asked for a full refund after the 1st weekend of joining, because there were only a handful of members with photos, but hundred or thousands of anonymous users with zero pics. They all had the same user name beginning with mingler_*****, or a series of letters and numbers after the mingler identification.
They were scattered throughout the U.S., and most would send me a smile while I was online. I was getting fed up with these constant inbox messages, which were simply phishing ploys to extort $$ from other legitimate members. I sent them an email about the info, but all I got was a response apologizing for my bad experience.
I would bet that these phishes are able to join without a membership fee, and help bolster their membership numbers too. If they were a professional and actual Christian caring site, they would take measures to correct this problem. I would also bet that most subscribers don't renew, and another problem is with the cancellation of their auto-renewel process. After trying multiple times to follow the online "Stop Subscription", I not only failed to accomplish the task, there wasn't even a tab visible to tap for that process. What a joke, what a scam, what a Total ripoff!
I am not saying you can't find a partner on this site but it will be a torturous process. Very small number of paying members. Tremendous number of scammers. Cumbersome communications process. Worthless matching methodology. Hang around the grocery store, instead. It is free, you can see the person and you go there anyway.
Worse experience ever. I was scammed by someone I fell for, then when I tried to report this, no response and unable to get any response from help or support, even after several responses that I sent in, even included information for them to track this scammer! Constant profiles being deleted. Worst dating site ever, rip off, as take your money and people do not respond, or profiles were noting but scam! Lot of red flags. Was looking for good Christian minded men, found nothing but people trying to take advantage of a trusting person! Have tried other dating sites, none have been as much of a disappointment as this one!
I paid $149 to join and have not received one message from a bona fide user in over a month. Every time I go online there are very few new users and none of them in Las Vegas. (I mean only 1 or 2 new users a month from another part of the country) This site is a misrepresented scam! I am so upset I paid all that money for NOTHING! I get dates in real life but wanted someone of faith since my church is very small. Don't join this site, PLEASE!
I was hacked twice on this site and now I am out money and they won't let me back on unless I give a new email address. They claim they are secure but their only response is to make me change. Plus there is little to no matches on this site. As someone of faith you'd hope that you could be in a safe place and your not. So disappointed. Lesson learned
This site should be shut down and I honestly believe it is a scam site. Very minimum amount of active users across the US. I had my search criteria completely open and at the max distance. I saw less than 50 active members across the country. It has been one month without a single match, its insane. I do not write reviews often, please trust me and do not waste your time or money. There are other options. Also, the company that runs it, is not a Christian based company. The site is also very basic in terms of user interface, its horrible. Last, I have to attempt to log on at least twice every time I use the site, something is wrong with the log in process. Save your $50 plus bucks per month.
Answer: I had the same experience! Technically it's the worst site with worthless customer service. I discovered a great platform for meeting Christian ladies https://j4l.com/402007 It's flawless - it's working perfectly technically, their girls are simply too gorgeous for words, both inside and out! I enjoy greatly the company of the women I met there and soon I will meet one of them in person.
Answer: I thought they were a legit website unfortunately they are ripped off!
Answer: I just hit unsubscribe and you really have no choice but to let the time you paid for run out. After I unsubscribed, they sent me an email that I did and I also made sure to remove the credit card they had on file. I only took one month.
