I've been using chewy for a while now and they are super quick with their shipping and their prices are fair and very comparable to other stores. Most recently we lost our sweet dog Lola and the next day I received my auto shipment of her dog food and naturally this broke my heart. So on the next day I mustered up the courage to call Chewy to ask them if I can send this package back and to cancel my future auto ships. This very lovely representative, Ashka, assisted me with this. I could barely get through the words to say but as I was speaking with this lovely girl she was just so supportive and so comforting with her words and just talked me through it and she really was just the sweetest and kindest. It was the ease of talking to her as I was crying and trying to speak that really helped me. Lo and behold on Tuesday I receive a package. I open it up and it is the most colorful, beautiful arrangement of roses with a very heartfelt note from Ashka. I can't tell you how much this touched my heart. I just really really appreciated her so much! Way to go chewy on employees like this. It's because of her I felt a little better in that sad moment and that one day I'll be a returning customer!
I love that they sent a Birthday card for my pooch. That's very considerate and going above and beyond. My wife orders off chewy frequently and has never been disappointed. Keep up the good work!

I never reached the $49 needed for free shipping, so I paid the $4.95 for 1 to 3 day shipping. All was well.
However, on my last order, they decided to send it FedEx Ground, the slowest shipping service available in the entire USA.
After waiting more than a week for the order to be delivered, I was almost out of cat food. So I ordered from Amazon with 1-day shipping.
I called Chewy to complain and cancel the order. They gave me a partial refund and I assumed it would still get here eventually.
Nope. They recalled the package instead. Then I had to call them to get the rest of my money back.
I'm done with these idiots. What a pain in the $#*!.
After notifying Chewy that a multivitamin was missing in my order the customer service I received was second to none. My puppy's vitamins came early the next day, I have never received that type of prompt and courteous service. Great Job I am a customer for life!
Stay clear of this site if you want to get your items on time. They said 1-3 days shipping but on the third day after I put my order they email me the cat tower I order is out of stock. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE! I was waiting for it so my cat can scratch on the post instead of my furniture. Also, they offer only 10% off the next order which lasts only a month! :(
My dog Gordo is part Chihuahua and part Corgi his problem is his little chicken legs are the Chihuahua part besides his face and his body is the Corgi leaving a lot of weight on his little legs and joints he has had trouble for the last maybe two and a half years coming up and down the steps he just seems to be stiff when he gets up off his little bed and I know what it's like I'm 56 so hopefully these are going to work out he's only been on them three days but he really enjoys them the quality the smell everything seems so up there so thank you I appreciate getting something good for my money finally I'd say that the zesty paws are awesome
Have shopped at and auto filled from Chewy.com for 4 years plus. This last year it's been a hit or miss service.
We ordered meds for my senior dog to deliver to an air bnb, Chewy.com emailed to advise us it wouldn't be delivered because there was a problem with address.
But continued to charge us for it.
Followed up, they just claimed it was delivered.
The next time they we're careless was when they delivered an empty box! It was not damaged or resealed. They failed to pack it.
Reported, and they did what they are good at. Ignore you until you stop following up.
This third time the delivery didn't turn up, not even an empty box. Reported, and all they reply with is "it was delivered"
We are stuck without the meds for my senior dog and we are out of pocket again.
Don't let their marketing fool you. They do care about their customers or our pets.

I've purchased my dog food/ other pet accessories from Chewy for probably the past 5 years. I've intentionally made Chewy my first stop for these products because I'm so impressed with their customer service that I want to support them. They make me feel like a valued customer, and I'm not the only one, it's clearly a part of their service model (just google chewy stories). They're a good team and I have a lot of appreciation for them! Also my dog loves them. Great food, treats, toys, camping supplies, etc. I don't think I've ever needed something that they did not have. 5 stars all around.

Chewy doesnt make it easy to change auto ship. I had an order for end of each month for 4 items.
I decided i needed to change order instead the website created a new order. I called to cancel and rep said cannot cancel. Another big company ripping off the consumer. I will purchase from Wallmart. Cheaper.
The rep said she cancelled my auto ship and i will no longer even look at chewy.com
I have used Chewy for years. With 8 rescue animals in the house, I use a lot of products! You can customize your preferred delivery date or change it when the unexpected happens. The key to being a happy customer is to call their outstanding customer service whenever you have a question or problem. Don't miss the medication section. Sometimes you can save $$$. The most common response I have heard when I ask someone if they use Chewy is, "I love Chewy!"
Chewy's products are ok. They ship quickly. The biggest problem I have with them is the Logistics partner they insist on using: FedEx. FedEx is a little more friendly to their commercial customers. But if you're just an average schmuck waiting on your dog's food they have no interest in explaining why something's delayed. In fact I'm my case, if the nearest FedEx processing center is the one in Oak Park Michigan, they may hold your package hostage for a week or more after taking possession of it. They'll tell you it's on the truck and on its way one day, then throw their hands, up and basically say "nope, we have no idea when it's coming the next. My tracker demonstrates that. Only the US Postal service is more incompetent. But when a shipper can be this terrible, so chronically, so reliably bad, shipment after shipment... it's a very close second. Chewy chooses how to deliver their products to their customer. So this is on them as much as it is the idiots that can't seem to get a package from one place to another just 11 miles away.
Chewy offers great pricing, fast shipping and the best customer service out there! Chewy has been my "go to" for pet supplies for about a year now.
I love how I can order food for my pets so quickly, and if I want to reorder anything, I can can check previous orders so I can make sure to order the right things. What a great service!
My dog should be the spokesdog. She chews everything! She is a chewy dog. Therefore, I get my stuff from Chewy.com to make sure she has things to chew on. But tissues are her favorite! And blankets. She has been chewing blankets, socks and most recently she is a chewy dog to shoes.

We used chewy autoship for a year for basic cat supplies (litter, food, treats). The service got progressively worse every month. Shipping took progressively longer each time. The litter would get here 7-10 days after the food. We canceled when the treats kept coming with the carton broken.
The obvious plus is that we don't need to lug huge bags of dog food around every couple weeks. Great service to have it delivered! We have ours set up on recurring deliveries. Or had. Our 12 year old Lab went to doggie heaven earlier this month. As I'm sure any pet owner can agree, it was heart wrenching for us, especially for our young children. Chewy sent a bouquet of flowers in honor of him. While this may be a marketing tactic, I don't care. It was such a wonderful gesture and was so very much appreciated! During this extremely sad time filled with bittersweet memories and the feeling of an empty home, it made us smile and thankful.
Fives cases of dog food ordered, almost every can damaged, some split wide open. Shipping box and packaging were fine, this order was shipped by Chewy with this damage.
Answer: No trouble at all. They have the best customer service/replacement/refund practices I've ever encountered. By all means, contact them again if you're having an issue.
Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
