The have charge me 3 times to refund me 2 times. Now it's completely paid and they want to charge me a 4th time for more than the order to release the pending. Don't appreciate them playing with me money like that
I've ordered from chewy a few times now and it's super convenient how many options they have.
Specifically, my cat is on a special diet and chewy has lots of options that my local petsmart doesn't have. I also was so shocked how fast my shipping was. One product came the next day!
I have been shopping on Chewy for years and they always go above and beyond. The shipping is always on time and everything always comes in tact. The one time a bag of dog food came ripped they told me to keep it and sent another one that arrived 2 days later. Recently my dog decided to just stop eating the food he has eaten for 7 years, right after I ordered him a new $40 bag. I emailed Chewy and they asked me to donate the bag of food and refunded me immediately. A few years ago when I ordered a dog bed that was too small for my large Golden Retriever, same thing, they asked me to donate it and refunded me immediately. I order from them monthly and will continue to for as long as I have pets.
Chewy said they tried to deliver and they'll try again. All they had to do is leave the Box by the door how hard is that. Now I have to wait two more days but more importantly my birds don't have any food in the meantime unless I take the time to run to the store and get some food for them. How inconvenient for me
The sent me a box of rotten cat food. I sent photo evidence and calmly expressed how frustrated and disappointed I was. So they sent a replacement box.
The replacement box was also rotten. So 2 of 3 orders came rotten. I'm not saying a little bit spoiled - rotten through, putrid, rancid, full of dead dried maggots, absolutely vile.
At this point, I was extremely frustrated. I reached out to Chewy to again express my disappointment. They ignored my email for two days. I took the time out of my day to call them - customer service, while kind and professional, did absolutely nothing to resolve my issue. All I got was a refund.
Firstly, I helped, I provided them with the lot number and serial so they could track down whichever lot clearly has issues. Secondly, twice they sent me rotted putrid maggot ridden products, in a row! I should be compensated. I asked for a free order or a $25 gift card. I'm not starting a lawsuit or being unreasonable - frankly I shouldn't even have to ask! They shut it down immediately and said they can't provide any compensation - even though this took over a week to resolve, wasted hours of my time, and frankly sent me a rotten disgusting product that could have been host to pests or disease.
I will never use Chewy again. I guess Bezos gets more of my money. Chewy, beyond your complete failure to deliver a product, you really need to learn what customer service is.
Was waiting for my order. Was supposed to have been delivered yesterday. Didnt arrive. Contacted them. Was told FedEx lost my order... 3 days ago. While I patiently waited... thinking my dogs food would arrive on time... noone bothered to communicate to me that the order was lost. Options? Start over and wait a week to get the food or get a refund. Either way my dog doesnt get the food they need. Requested if they could expedite a shipment. Nope. Not an option. Even though they lost the order and didn't let me know. Started this a week ago thinking that would be enough time to get the food I needed and have enough food to last while I waited. Lost 3 days where I could have bwen seeking alteratives. Now my dog is going to run out of food and have to change his diet overnight. Ask a vet if they recommend that. Do dogs fair well when you change their diets suddenly? Thanks Chewy. Great Customer Service. You lose my order, dont communjcate for days and now my dog pays the price. See Ya!
This is the second time I inadvertantly signed on to my credit card website to find a charge from chewy that morning. I called immediately called chewy. The rep reversed the charge. It may have been an auto-renew but for what, I have no clue. I looked for something in the charged price range and there's nothing. I had no assurance this wouldn't happen again and I asked.
I had too many problems with the prescription renewal. I was the go-between with my vet and chewy's pharmacy and chewy made me nuts. They just didn't fill the order but there was no communication as to why and there's at least one other review here that looks like this issue. I ran out of time and needed the script so I spent $$ more and used my vet. I called chewy after I thought I turned off all auto renews (there would be only two) and asked them to delete my account. Acct may be deleted but the garbage is still being charged.
I remember when my company started doing the auto-renews (@2008) and they did it in the hopes consumers would forget about them allowing my co. To make more money off consumers. Don't know if it's this way for chewy but it certainly smells like it or it's just incompetence.
Chewy deliveries are so fast. I order and sometimes it's there the next day. Chewy prices are great... cheaper than my local grocery store anyway. I buy from Chewy once a month.
I had auto ship for my dogs heart medicine first order was good but the second one the pills were 10 times smaller than the first and from the pills the vet gave she is supposed to get half of a pill but there is no way to even cut these in half they are so tiny and look like totally different pill and I think it might be the wrong one tried to call ring once phone went dead so I used the online form finally got an email from them saying they will get with pharmacy and look into so at least that's something but I had to scramble to get her pills last minute shouldn't of had to should of had right ones to start with so frustrated
When I cancelled my pet's prescription refills through chewy.com, I noted the reason was that she died. They sent me flowers! Like from a great florists, roses & all. I didn't think companies cared about their customers anymore, but this is a classy company who cares. That's above and beyond! Thank you Chewy.
I received an email on a Thursday stating one of my autoship items was $21.64. It was the very reason I ordered the item! Because it was a decent price. The very next day, I received another email stating my account had been charged $28.86! For the same item! So they suck you into ordering an item by offering a steal of a price but then stick it to you when they ship the order by price gouging? How is that legal? Back to Amazon I guess.
Placed order on 21 Sep and still have not received order on 5 Oct. Contacted Chewy who said they would look into it. When I asked the representative how did Chewy plan to accommodate me for the inconvenience the rep told me he would refund my money and i could go and shop elsewhere. Thats what i plan to do and I suggest you do the same!
They have horrible customer service! They said they would cancel my order if I did not send in the prescription for dog food within 48 hours. I did and they didn't place the order. So I called and they placed order. They said it was on backorder but would be available in a few days. I0 days went by and no email confirmation of order. So I called them back and once again they said I didn't send the script but found it again. Then they said that the order was cancelled because it was on back order... WHAT? Then they say I can order it again but it will canceled if a few days go by and its not in. What is this? SO BYE BYE CHEWY! You are not good at service,
Chewy is so customer service oriented! They go above and beyond anything you might need. AND, delivery is so fast and oroduct quality is top notch! I'm so happy Ive been a chewy customer for eight years.! You wont be disappointed!

We have been using Chewy for over a year and deliveries have always been timely, and we always get a email reminder in advance of autoship giving us time to make any changes. The last shipment arrived damaged with split bag and ants. Chewy took care of it and we received a new shipment the following day even though it was on a Saturday. Problems are always going to occur with any company but it is the way they take care of things that count, so five stars, Chewy. Keep up the good work!

I have been a customer of Chewy since 2017. When I have had issues (even when I goofed up) customer service has always been treated like I am their only customer! They have always been polite and helpful. When I have had to return something they sent a return label so I could return the item. I've NEVER had to pay shipping costs. The funds have been credited back to my checking account and then they were happy to assist me finding the products that I actually need. Most recently I purchased 2 different bird cages for my cockatoo. They sent 2 return labels. I set the boxes (2 days apart) out on my porch and their shipping company came and picked the first one up and the 2nd one may have been "porch pirated". I called custom service and the sent a message to a management to research the issue. I was told it would be no more 24 hours until I was contacted. Before the contact was made, they researched the issue and the funds were back in my checking account. We live on a fixed income so $160.00 is a large loss. They made certain that I received my purchase funds back even with the possibility of being " porch pirated ". They also send Birthday Cards every year. They really make certain that every issue is resolved, usually in the customers favor. If you're trying to decide whether or not to use their services I would tell you to at least give them a try and see what their services can do for your pet(s). They have more of the basic items for dogs than ever before and speedy delivery. Can cat food that usually is price gouged on Amazon or not available. Fancy feast fish and shrimp flaked is now available at chewy and reasonably priced
Answer: No trouble at all. They have the best customer service/replacement/refund practices I've ever encountered. By all means, contact them again if you're having an issue.
Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.
Answer: Because they make it a point to lie and deceive their customers... I will NEVER use them again!
Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
