Told by Chewy rep to forward email copy of vets prescription for filling. Two and a half days later Chewy emails me at 11 pm ti tell me they cannot accept emailed prescriptions and giving me recommendations on how to "expedite" my order.
I live off grid and decided to try and order all my feed and livestock products online saving a 60 mile trip as s fedex and ups delivers daily. Ordered $100 worth of feed. $75 in products to see how long it took to ship and arrive. Now just one week later everything has increased 30%. I did not use any coupons. Bought strictly from the prices shown. Well for 30% I will not save anything on a $250 per month feed order. Even gas@ $3.69/gal. I will just make that a trip and buy 5 months of feed and pay what I was paying which is more than they prices it but will save in the long run. Also one of my feeds have still not shipped 5 days later which isn't going to work. Chewy just lost another customer. Support your local farm stores even if it cost more cause they normally won't just stick it too you kn 5 days. You will get a warning on price increases!
My mom had a subscription to chewy for one of her dogs. She canceled it today due to the dog passing away. When my mom called to cancel, the customer service representative said I hope your furry friend is doing well. My mom informed her that the dog passed away. She was so kind and apologetic. Today my mom received flowers from a local flower shop from the customer service representative named Celeste. Thank you so much. You really put a smile on my mothers face. Most thoughtful thing ever.
NEVER again! This has been the most frustrating experience... I have shopped Chewy a few times and usually no problem. The problem was with fed ex not being able to do their job properly but Chewy's "fix" ended up causing more stress and problem and they keep telling me they refunded my money to paypal but it never showed up... time to find a new pet supply shop.
I can't be more positive about Chewy.com. Their product lines are terrific, their prices are very reasonable, and their customer service is awesome. We purchased a water fountain for our cat in September, 2021. The pump failed a few months later. When I notified Chewy, they responded immediately, and we received a new product in less than a week! We're thrilled (and so is our kitty, Tess). Thank you, Chewy.com. You're awesome!
Not only do they have good prices, but of all the online services I use, they have the best Customer service possible. I wish other companies would model after them.
I have been using chewy for the last couple of years, placing an order 2x a month. They have been unreliable in delivering my orders on time. Go somewhere else for your pet supplies, I will be.
I'm done with them and Fedex who's warehouse is across the street from Chewy. What a joke. And it takes 10 days to get it. Plus you order something and they email you a week later they are out of stock. WHAT A JOKE. CLOSE UP...
Ivn been using chewy for years, everything comes in a reasonable amount of time. I order anything feom dog food, toys to their fle and tick. I highly recommend chewy.
Chewy is pretty good place to order all your pet needs. My only problem with it, is you have to sign up for autoship to receive the really good discount and they send way too much email. However with pandemic problems, and stores being empty this is a good option to get your pet food and litter. In our case the stores near me have been empty of the brand we like and use for both food and cat litter and chewy has been a great source for us to get what we want. Their delivery comes quick and items always arrive safe, unopened.
I put in an order on chewy.com on12/01/2021, i received my order on 12/02/2021, i got ever item i ordered and no damages to any packages. I very very happy. This is the first time i ordered from them what a great company, excellent service.
Description of Complaint:
I have my dog food on autoship, which had been working out fine. This month I had my autoship set to December 1, which was after I would receive a paycheck. I have had several medical expenses and had low funds available until after the 1. Chewy changed my autoship order to an earlier date and took funds from my account before I authorized, and not only did they do this once, they did it twice. They changed the order on December 29 and took $68.47 from my account. I contacted them, and Isabel in customer service apologized, said a refund would come in 24-48 hours, and corrected the order to December 1 as I had set it. Again this morning, Chewy expedited the order. On November 30, Chewy took another $68.47 from my account. I am now at a loss of $136.94. I needed to order my family $300 in medical supplies, and I now cannot because they took money I did not authorize. This is completely unacceptable to take money that is not authorized before the date approved by the customer. I am at a complete loss until I get a full refund.
Desired Settlement:
Refunded and compensated for my money being taken before I authorized it. Chewy should be fined for unethical practices and correct them
Customer service that sticks to a script over chat and isn't helpful. I placed an order and noticed that even though the item hasn't shipped, the price has gone down. When I utilized the chat service to both check in on why it hasn't shipped and to see if a price adjustment was possible, I was told that it was out of their hands. Very unclear that 3rd party vendors can sell on the Chewy website and the fact that I can't even cancel the order to take advantage of a sale is ridiculous.
I would have to wait to receive the product, then initiate a return to basically receive a price adjustment since their policy is so strict. No ability to simply cancel the order despite the fact that the order has not even shipped. Complete waste of time.

I buy a ton of items from chewy. I highly recommend them. I typically spend $300 on an order. Tell all my friends to have their pet supplies delivered. Well…. My friend did…just dog bones for her grand dog and fedex said the package had to be signed for! I buy $300 and they leave it out on my sidewalk in the rain but dog bones have to be signed for? We both called chewy customer service and talked to a young woman that was clearly working from home bc you can hear kids in the background and she clearly doesn't care about the order and neither does fedex! I will never recommend chewy to anyone ever again! I am so embarrassed! So disappointed! It is a great service especially to us elderly and/or disabled. Shows this company…like many…don't give a s about their customers…just the bottom line. Embarrassed and disappointed and will never recommend them again! Really disgusting!
These people at chewy are amazing, They REALLY care about their fur baby customers. They sent us the most beautiful hand painted photo of our cat SIMBA for FREE. It was wrapped like a gift and they sent it out of the goodness of their heart. WE LOVE CHEWY, WE refuse to use evil amazon for anything pet related. Chewy has the BEST customer service! And the best products shipped fast!

Let me tell you if you give them your debit card it's open season for them to take what they want when they want how they want and then they will tell you that's where the company does it and the next time they'll tell you if there's a glitch I've waited for my refund for about a month still haven't got one... must have spoke to at least 15 people spoke... everyone has told me 3 to 5 days... then i was actually told... i dont know who said you were getting a call back we dont even have your phone number... delivery was over 1 week... i dont know what changed... but they had me crying... walmart.com cheaper an deliver or u can pick up... amazon much cheaper for toys pet furniture etc... hope what is happening to me doesnt happen to you... god bless
Answer: No trouble at all. They have the best customer service/replacement/refund practices I've ever encountered. By all means, contact them again if you're having an issue.
Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
