So a couple of days ago I lost my dog to brain tumor. It has been ruff for myself and my family. But I received flowers from Kenia C., at Chewy.com. This was amazing that this person I never met and a company I order from online, would do something so thoughtful. I want to say thank you for your generosity.

Not 1-3 day shipping!

I buy my prescription dog food every week from Chewy. It always comes the next day. Well, I am now on day 6 waiting for my food. I get things go wrong, however it states right on the top of the website 1-3 days shipping. IF the food was out of stock at my local WH they should honor what they advertise and ship it 1-3 days. I spoke with a rep and he was zero help stating he would file a compliant on my behalf! I said I really don't want to file a complaint, I just want the food at which point he hung up! Seriously? You can do better Chewy!

First, I love the convenience of Chewy's autoship option. My cats are picky eaters and I can't always find their favorite food at the store. Autoship has saved me so much time and frustration. I added Frontline Flea meds to my latest autoship order, but the product was damaged in shipping. I got on chat with a customer service agent, told them my issue and without any questions for further explanation from me, they processed a replacement for that product. This was definitely one of the best customer services experiences I've ever had.

Excellent company

I recently called to inquire about returns, since my unopened dry K/D cat food needed to be sent back due to my 19 year old Cat got hit Iand killed by a car. The representative Tierney not only credited me back my full refund, but she said to donate the food.
6 days later I received a beautiful flower arrangement from her and The Chewy Company with a written condolence card.
I was floored by this act of kindness this Company has. No other company that I know does this.
I would highly recommend this company. The food is always delivered in a timely manner and the Customer Service is awesome!

I made my last order from Chewy in December 2021. My credit card was double charged. My attempts to get my order and my account corrected in still not resolved in March 2022. Do not give a credit card number for auto-ship. They must have drugged goats running the place.

My sweet dog, Rudie, passed away 2/27/2022 unexpectedly. I sent an email to Chewy's to stop my autoship. They were very sorry and said they were available if I needed to talk to someone. Autoship was cancelled immediately. Today I received flowers and a card from Chewy's for my loss. My auto ship was for one little dog so I wasn't buying very much, yet they were kind enough to acknowledge my loss. Thank you Chewy's for such a touching act of kindness. I will always recommend you to family and friends!

Chewy is one of those rare companies that actually listens to the customer and makes returns easy. They will fix complaints without a hassle. I will support them again and again just due to how swiftly they handled my return after my pet passed away. You have a wonderful company, don't change!

Chewy rocks!

I am a forever customer of Chewy! I recently moved and have had things sent to my new address but my most recent order I failed to notice my old address was still my default address and they send it there. I called and told them of MY error and they just said they would resend the order to my new address FREE OF CHARGE! I almost fell out of my chair. That's unheard of these days! Their customer service is excellent and you can actually talk to a human w/o going through a thousand voice prompts. I LOVE THIS COMPANY!

Not happy

So usually, i like Chewys. Lately their site is just way screwed up. They disabled my husbands account and my account on claims of security reasons. We have been trying to order dog food for weeks! When i asked what i was supposed to do? Wait for another team to email me. I was also told our disabled accounts can never be reopened. So thanks for that. Dont know what that is about but very freaking inconvenient!

Delivery failures

Chewy consistent sends shipping dates and shows on their website that items have shipped when they haven't even been picked up. Don't plan on pet food refill dates. They won't make the promised dates. Last time I had to go to the store three times to keep buying more dog food for the continual dates they missed. Gave them another chance and they lied again. Order from someone who tells you the truth. Three strikes.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I placed an order with them and then sent them an email with my tax exempt. They canceled my order and canceled my account instead of just saying sorry we don't accept tax exempt. Is this how you deal with customers. This should be customer service 101. I hope to see you filing bankruptcy very soon. Customers are the main base for any business and you clearly don't deserve to have any customers or do any kind of business with. My order number that was canceled was *******486

My Go-To company

I used to check other websites when I needed things for my kitty. But I'd always end up ordering from Chewy because they have what I need and get it to me fast. Now I just skip trying the other companies and go straight to Chewy. Best of all, if you have a question, you can call them day or night, 7/24. And you get to talk to a "live" person without having to fight the phone prompts. Skip the hassle. Go straight to Chewy.com first time, every time.

I've tried twice to get a prescription for my dog from Chewy, and both times it was an unmitigated disaster.

The first time, Chewy repeatedly canceled the order for a prescription joint supplement that came in 50 or 100mg tablets. The vet's instructions were to break the tablets to give 75mg. THREE TIMES Chewy *canceled the order without notifying me* because they wanted me to break off 1/4 of a 100mg tab rather than give 1-1/2 50mg tabs.

Most recently, I ordered heartworm medication, also with a prescription. When Chewy said they couldn't reach the vet to verify the prescription, I scanned and emailed a signed hard-copy of the Rx on the vet's prescription pad. That still wasn't good enough.

Save yourself some aggrevation and get your pet's prescription meds somewhere else.

Chewy is an amazing company. The subscription service is outstanding. Deliveries are flawless and economical and it is so easy to make changes in quantities and frequency. We had to put our 12 year old Mason to sleep recently and had just had 6 12 can cases delivered. I spoke with Rachel who was so compassionate and comforting. I not only received a refund but was told to please just make a donation of the food which we are doing to New Hope Animal Shelter in Delano Fl. This morning I was feeling so sad missing my sweet friend when a knock came at my door. It was a beautiful yellow flower arrangement and sweet note from Chewy. What an outstanding company!

Poor business practices.

Was sent an email saying 30 dollar gift card for orders over 100. This is not first time they've sent false advertising. Customer service is extremely rude! I'll no longer purchase anything from Chewy!

Corporate Chewy

Corporate cares nothing about customers. They have been feeding me lies for over a year now. Not the fault of customer service agents. 1-3 day shipping is a lie. They have it on their website and on commercials. It's been addressed by numerous customers other than me and they will do nothing to rectify any issues but lie. I won't support a business who likely makes billions of dollars every year but doesn't care about customers. Corporate needs new leadership.

In theory, Chewy is a great site. It has a lot of pet products that aren't in stores lately due to supply problems. But it's a mirage. I have been using autoship foolishly for a year now to save money and get all my cats' food before they run out, but Chewy doesn't notify me until two days AFTER the shipment was supposed to arrive that I'm NOT getting all of the items in my order. That leaves me negative two days to go to the store and try to find something for my cats to eat. My girl cat is disgusted with me and most likely assumes I am a terrible hunter. I've been rationing their wet food because they're running out and Chewy keeps promising a whole box of food will be on my doorstep in the afternoon, so I put off going to the store. I understand that sometimes items are out of stock, but two days after they're promised to arrive is NOT the time to tell me about it unless they want to come over and deal with my cat meowing all night that her treats are not here!

Terrible!

My dog needs prescription food, which I had on auto-order every two weeks with a treat for my parrot and a chew toy for our rabbit. They were great for a couple of months, and then the dog food was late in delivery. The parrot treat and rabbit chew arrived, though they said the dog food would come the next week. The next week came, and the parrot treat and rabbit chew again arrived, though they said the dog food would come the next week. This went on and on until I am stock-piled on rabbit chews and parrot treats and my poor dog is starving! I finally got the food from my vet for a whopping 15 cents more per can. For the hassle, I'm happy to pay 15 cents more. To heck with Chewy- they stink.

Highly Recommend

Chewy was recommended by our veterinary staff last summer when supply chain problems were holding up their orders. While I have made mistakes learning to use their site, I've just needed to chat with a rep to make the corrections. When a health matter arose with our pet, I used their free veterinary advice to order appropriate food. It was invaluable in saving my time and simply available when using their autoship for orders. I would have missed out on a coupon today had I not chatted with Joycelyn.

It is understandable that the fine print allows Chewy to substantially raise the price of items in auto-ship and it is happening on every shipment. However, I noticed a huge increase in every item for a recent autoship the day before it shipped. I shopped and changed to less expensive items. My autoship order went out 2 days early at a huge price increase. Smaller item can double in price and larger more expensive item can raise over 20% in one day. The price change is apparently built into the auto-ship system. There is not way around it other than a "real time" order or shopping elsewhere. I will move back to ordering in "real time" to see if this still happens. Order at one price and pay another much higher price. Not OK.
