I have bought from Chewy for many yrs now and cannot say enough good about this company. Never had a problem everything comes as ordered package very well.My Dogs know what Chewy box looks like and will not leave it until I open it. Love love Chewy. They care about their customers and our pets.
I ordered my zuzu some new wet food types and her tummy didn't fair well. The vet said do not feed her the food any more sense it disagreed with her sensitive stomach. So I ordered a batch of her old foods and asked them how to return the other kinds they refunded the whole amount of the purchase that didn't work out and asked that I donate the food to a shelter. They were also extremely prompt to reply, within the hour I got a response. Not only does chewy have fair prices but they truly care. I'll never shop elsewhere due to this interaction.
I love chewy. They are truly the best to work with and HAVE great customer service. When Tallassee passed away they sent me flowering. I would recommend the food/treats side of chewy.
The pharmacy is a different story. I have had nothing but issues with the pharmacy side. They send the request to the wrong vet clinic, then decline it before reaching out to get clarity. This has happened on SEVERAL occasions. I started using 1800pets for my Rx, because I NEVER have any issues with them for pharmacy.
I order food for my dog from chewy. I have been for several years, and have always enjoyed the convenience of getting 90lbs of dog food delivered and the speed in which they fulfill my orders. Each and every order has been filled with accuracy and on time. The only time I had an issue to bring up it was because they actually mistakenly filled my order early! I called (not really to complain but to see why) and the lovely person on their customer service team apologized and refunded me the amount of the order and slept me keep the order to boot! What a deal! And she was absolutely the most pleasant customer service professional I have ever spoken to!

I live in a rural area where it's hard to find much stock of cat food, never mind decent food for my two cats. I order food from Chewy BECAUSE of their supposed two-day shipping. The last order I made is taking DAYS and DAYS to get here, much beyond the promised 2-day ship time they claim to offer. Yes, it's free for over $50 but pet owners who rely on their fast service are getting shorted big time. I live in NM and my order is shopping from PA? It's still not even close to being here. If Chewy can't offer 2-day shipping anymore then they need to remove this promise from their website and all of their marketing. Period. Stop making promises you cannot keep.
Their Customer Service is phenomenal, and their prices are amazing! I will not shop anywhere else! They help me out with everything I need and match prices along with helping me with information. Love Chewy! I have bought, food, toys, medication, medication collar and more.
I have been a customer of Chewy.com for several years, being the owner of a very spoiled dachshund who requires special food, chewy toys etc. I really like using the Chewy.com website; their prices are good, selection is awesome and I can't say enough good things about their customer service team. It is rare to find a company with this level of customer service and knowledgeable people. The few problems I have experienced over the years have been resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I hope business schools are writing this company up as a business case study on what to do right.
Chewy for the most part has been dependable and fast. This last order I made was given a delivery date of 1-3 days. The next day I get an email stating it is delayed for about 7 days after the order. I go to my order information and low and behold, it now states it will be almost 2 weeks before I get my order. Okay, simple solution, cancel the order. Nope... they stated that the order shipped. I find this hard to believe since the information on my order states that it is not in stock! Asked them to explain this to me and they don't have an answer! A simple honest notification of the delay in my order and the option to cancel or continue with the order would have been nice. But to play these games with my money is not acceptable!. You just lost another customer which by the way you run this business, you probably don't care one way or another!
I shop here because they have the best price on my cats urinary track meds. They also have the fastest shipping ever, one day to my house.
Today I had to look for a place for my dog to get medication so she won't die.My dog has a heart murmur. I have ordered the medication twice from them. I ordered medication beginning of the week on Monday. Sunday last of dogs medication. I called and asked were is my medication. They said I might get it Monday. But probably Tuesday. Mondays a holiday. So they said we can find a pharmacy to take medication. They couldn't find pharmacy open on weekend. They then said that I could go to emergency room and of course I would pay for the appointment and X-ray because it's a heart murmur. Chewy will not give me the prescription either. So I'm screwd! Chewy put my dogs life at risk and now I have to figure out how to get medication on a weekend so my dog won't die.
I have 25 cats so a lot of orders, and there is bound to be minor problems from time to time. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have called Chewy (and it's not often) the customer service has been EXCELLENT. The people are friendly and always work hard to solve my problem. I always feel like a valued customer. I absolutely love that I have a great source of food and other requirements for my kitties AND wonderful, helpful people who can assist me if I have problems. Thank you, Chewy!
I recently purchased dog food from Chewys and my dog Roscoe passed away suddenly so when I called Chewys about a reimbursement the customer service representative Jeremy was so compassionate and not only set up the reimbursement immediately but sent a bouquet of flowers the next day with a card that he personally wrote with the company's condolences. Coming from a Customer Service Manager, Jeremy by far was the best customer service representative I've ever spoke with. I would 100% recommend Chewys for all your pets needs. Sincerely Lynn Melian

I used to order alot of stuff from Chewy and that were great until I order a Email gift card to a friend and they kept getting the the email address wrong. I just simply requested they they refund my money so I could just send my friend a check and they declined to pay me back! What Great to Service!
Chewy gets most of their five star reviews from people who either got a refund or lost a pet. Yes they are extremely quick to throw money around, birthday cards, flowers, sympathy gifts, but that does not excuse their poor packaging, messed up orders, canceled orders, etc.
These people sent my deceased cat a birthday card, skipped my living cat's birthdays then sent a broken sympathy gift to me and another sympathy gift to a family member out of state!
Best part of Chewy is their 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you aren't 100% satisfied they will refund you. Wait until people figure this out bet they will change that policy!

Called to see about a refund for an unopened bag of food for a dog that passed, issued a refund and told me to donate to a shelter in her name. Very kind gesture during a difficult time.
No hassle returns. Free Fed Ex pick up at front door. Received email notice of refund two days later.
I don't usually write that many poor reviews as I usually find myself having a great experience with the companies, I deal with but Chewy is an exception. I purchased 3 cases (6 litter trays in each case) of Petsafe cat litter with a Levander scented. I did receive quick shipping and received the product before expected (3 days after ordering) but when I went to use one of the littler tray's, I found when I opened the litter tray that the wrong crystals were in the litter tray. Now this is a manufacturing issue and not Chewy but Chewy needs to ensure that they take care of their customers.
So not to bore you but here how the call went with CS. The lady explained to me that they would have the cases picked up and returned to them and that it would take 24-48hrs for the pickup to happen from when I called them and advised them, I have the shipping labels. Once they have been received and checked in by them, they then would ship me a replacement order. Now I'm not sure about you but I have 2 cat's and replace trays 3 times a week and the time frame Chewy expects me to wait for the replacement trays would extend to 5-7 days. May cats cannot hold their pee that long and neither could I.
Most companies would cross ship you so to lessor the inconvenience but the moral of the story here is if you're ordering something from Chewy that you need, buyer beware so if you have an issue, you might be without your product for additional 5-7 days.
Lastly, I did call Petsafe and report Chewy and they were kind enough to check their inventory to see if they had any Lavender Scented litter in stock but they haven't received an inventory yet. I was aware that they were out of it last month when I tried to order the litter before.
This is my story and just thought I'd share it with you.
My dog of 8 years was sick and the vet recommended a prescription diet. My dog passed away before we were able to open and use the bag of dry and the case of wet food. I asked how I could return the food and was told to keep it and donate it to a good cause.
THEN they refunded my $150.00... THEN they sent us flowers!

Answer: No trouble at all. They have the best customer service/replacement/refund practices I've ever encountered. By all means, contact them again if you're having an issue.
Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.
Answer: Because they make it a point to lie and deceive their customers... I will NEVER use them again!
Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
