I have been purchasing dog food/treats and toys from Chewys for years. I have always had excellent service, quick delivery and quality products. I recently notified Chewys that I would not need their emails any longer, as my sweet dog had passed on. Chewys immediately emailed me and said they would remove my name from the email list, and THEN THEY SENT ME FLOWERS!
I started using Chewy about the time they opened for business. They had great delivery times and customer service who really cared. Then the founders sold the company and now they have dishonest and indifferent customer service and really slow delivery, I only order one product from them at this point and recently found it on Amazon for the same price as Chewy's reduced auto reorder. AND it arrives in two days. Also I used to see to many Chewy boxes being delivered in my apartment building alone. Now there are few. Goodbye Chewy and goodbye aggravation.
I had purchased insulin for my cat. Within 24 hours, my cat passed away so I needed to cancel the order. The customer service was super compassionate and helpful. A day later, not only did I receive the insulin, I also received flowers from Chewy.com. Apparently, the insulin had already shipped. I contacted customer service and was told to give the to the vets. My goodness! I'm so very impressed with Chewy!
Ordered a maintenance medication for my dog. 2 weeks later still no medication. Tracking showed it in one place for days, called Chey several times and finally at the point where I was about to run out of my home supply a Chewy rep said go to Walmart and get the medication we will pay for it if you send us the receipt. The medication finally was tracked to another city at which point Chewy redirected it back to Chewy instead of to me. They refused to reimburse the Walmart receipt saying they never said they would pay for it. Instead they offered a 10% credit. My dog died before he ran out of medication again so I cancelled the prescription on autoship. Or so I thought. 6 months later the medication shows up. Not only will they not take the medication back for a refund they didn't even apply the 10% discount until I called and insisted on it.
Poor customer care. There are many other pet pharmacies available, don't trust your furbaby to this one.
Chewy has been aware for months of a Scam, one that orders product against a victiums account, using the CC saved in Subscribe and save. Sending the product to some unknow stranger on the internet. Permitting it, not alterting customers to the fact this is happening should be criminal!. Vote with your Dollars... and don't spend them here. I Used to really appreciate their service each month... but I hate getting hacked via their service, then finding out they have known this is going on for months!
Our cat recently passed away which was very difficult for our family, especially our daughter. We had just purchased over $200 worth of cat food from Chewy and contacted them to see if we could possibly return it. The rep at Chewy refunded our money and told us to bring the food to the local animal shelter which we did the next day. We assumed this was the end of it until today when we received flowers from Chewy along with a condolence letter from Chewy. I am at a loss for words at the amount of customer service from Chewy and we will be lifetime customers.
Amazing! Opened two bottle of insulin that was not cold, Chewy IMMEDIATELY sent me two bottles out, no questions asked.
I will only buy my pet supplies from Chewy.

Chewy to me have the great customer service: their employees are kind and understanding. They deliver quite fast too. I ordered a parcels like four days ago and it's already delivered and my next order is being processed as we speak. Thanks chewy for being the best.
I recently tried the good good calming treats. My sons dog has so much energy. It cam be to much at times. The 1st 2 days, no change was noticed. The 3rd day, she was alot calmer, but still was her fun self. She seems to love the treats.
I think they are aittle hard. But she loves them. They smell good. Which is a plus for me. After a week, big change. I will definitely buy this from now on
I normally order a lot of food for my pets from Chewy. They just gave me the run around about getting it shipped out. When I asked for a tracking number that's where the lie came into place. It was not shipped out, and it was not going to arrive in 1-3 days like they said. I will not recommend them anymore, because they are just liars. I asked for a refund, and as soon as I get my money back I am closing my account. To bad there isn't a negative scale, because I would give them a negative 5 star rating.
I loss one of my cat and had to put my auto deliveries with chewy on hold because of excessive cat food I ordered prior. I received a floral delivery today expressing sympathy for our loss. What a outstanding gesture in today's world. THANK YOU CHEWY
I highly recommend Chewy for all your pet needs, especially perscription meds and foods. I used them for years and when my beloved puggle passed I contacted them to cancel my auto deliveries. Jamar was not only efficient but caring and sympathetic. Again, I highly recommend them.
Chewy provided our furry family AMAZING three year door delivery of urinary prescription diet & treats. Today, beautiful fresh floral sympathy arrangement & card was delivered c/o furry kid Oreo. Chewy's ordering APP & service especially throughout Covid was great!

Chewy is the best company to buy your pet products from. I always received my orders on time. When my cat passed away and I had to cancel my next order I called and spoke to Monserrat. She was so kind and said she was going to credit my previous order. I told her I received the order, but she said she was going to still credit it. Also, within days I received a beautiful flower arrangement. Chewy does care about its customers. You can't go wrong if you order from them and is something isn't right, they will correct it.
1-3 day delivery is a LIE because they put it on a truck cross-country to save themselves profit. Then expect to BUY customer loyalty with rebates once you complain. After 15 years of loyal service with them, some corporate level change has removed that human touch that had me always choose them above the competition.
I love Chewy and have great experiences with purchases and customer service. HOWEVER, they should definitely consider dropping FedEx. Twice I have gotten texts that my pkg arrived from FedEx, but it had not. Chewy is great about replacing the package but it should not be up to them and it is always frustrating for the customer who does not receive the items when expected or needed. I don't want to leave Chewy, but because of this, I am considering it seriously.

Once again, damaged box, damaged cans (8 this time!). The packaging needs to be improved. Every delivery now has damaged cans.
Even with a quick response from customer service and a credit or new shipment, this is an inconvenience and unacceptable. I will find another place to buy the food.
I expect to receive undamaged cans. I can understand once or twice to see a can or two that were impacted during the loading process. But a company that considers this to be " normal" and not take action to improve packaging and shipping is not a company to do business with. I spend too much money on this dog food to deal with this every month.
Can't say enough good things about Chewy. Their product selection and customer service are fantastic and it's where I can consistently find products that I like for my dog that may be out of stock in other places. In the past, when I had a problem with an order delivery (not their fault), they were quick to replace it at no cost to me. I'm a Chewy customer for life!

Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
