This is without a doubt the worst most incompetent company I have used. They make Comcast look like a outstanding company. I booked the reservation to Vegas( flight, Hotel and car) to later find out that there is over seven hours of wait time between arrival and car pick up, and 8 hours between dropoff and departure. I called them to fix this and I was transferred 4 times back and forth between different agents (In India by the way) and when I got to the right agent the rental fees increased from &50 to $88 which $15 was for reservation change even thought it was their mistake. Then I had to call again since I did not received a flight conformation three hours after booking and again multiple agents.
I made the mistake of checking the reviews after I booked, mistake. I would have saved my self a lot of trouble. So far I have been dealing with this for 3 hours and I have not finalized my reservation and have no conformation of flight. I at the point were they will force me to cancel my reservation
My elderly parents make a mistake a falling in the "Cheapo" zone. They paid roughly twice as much as they would haveif they just booked Southwest AND the Southwest flight was DIRECT. The "Cheapo" flight has a LAYOVER... between Los Angeles and Oakland!
It's obscene. The company is called "Cheapo" and the flights are twice as expensive. This sounds like false advertising and deceptive trade to me. My parents definitely fell for it.
And of course, the tickets are non-refundable. The flight is not for three months.

I also looked this company up on the Better Business Bureau, I found out there's been 696 complaints filed against their parent company (Fareportal) in the last three years.
No other company in the category even has 100 complaints.

I booked a flight through cheapoair for $360 for a round trip ticket from Ontario, CA to Portland, OR. Soon after a New York #(*******943) called me, it was a cheapoair agent with an Indian accent who lied to me by telling me the transaction did not go through due to a price increase. She then said that for $ 100 more the transaction will go through. I was obviously in disbelief and upset. So then the agent tried to persuade me into purchasing by telling me she was going to reduce the price by $50. I was even more furious because she was playing around with the pricing. I said no thank you and since the purchase did not go through I went to head and purchased through United Airlines which was $10 cheaper. The same day I looked at my bank statement and I saw a transaction from CheapOair and realized the agent that called me from New York was lying to get me to pay more. To make things worse, I called CheapOair to try to get a refund and they sent me on a wild goose chase. I have wasted a whole day and will need to continue tomorrow to try to get my refund. They should change their name to expensive air and if you want to save money do not use this company. Trust me stay away they will lie to you to get you to pay more.
They can screw your happiness when you try to book you flight with them. They try to charge you almost $100-300 more than the real airfare.

I bought two tickets and had to cancel it. Airline said that they would refund me fully but cheapoair only refunded partially. The customer service people are rude and have different answers every time I call them. Supervisors with strange "English names" tell me that they would get in touch with me once they hear from airlines but you know that they never did. I have told my business associates not to use this website but use the ones with US based customer service. If you are reading this review, do not ever use cheapoair!
They are the cheapest, but that is all. They then charge you for seat reservations, which in my case did not work (they refunded the charge). However, when I contacted the airline to make seat reservations, I found that nothing I had done on CheapOAir went through. After much hassle, I have entered my frequent flyer number, gotten seats assigned, and entered advance passenger information (can't do any of this from CheapOAir website). Now I find my ticket is on a minor carriers stock, making any changes difficult with the major carrier's customer service.
Well I needed a quick flight to Dominican Republic and Cheap-O-Air came thru! They literally did find me the cheapest flight and it was comfortable even though it was economic. I had to make a stop in florida which i wanted cause I have to see my BFF and it was only for 2 hours but we were able to have lunch which was great because I rather see her then not get to see her. They did offer me a straight flight for the same price but i'm super happy with my purchase. Thank you for letting me get to see my baby cousin being born. :)
I bought my ticket on September 16 around noon. I tried to make a change in the departure date THE SAME DAY September 16 at afternoon. Unfortunately, they say they have to charge penalties for the change, and they never gave me the solution because I was in the 24 hours period of time, they didn't gave me the free cancellation and then I could purchase a new ticket with my new itinerary. I called the next day (TODAY) and I spoke to probably 7 agents and just 1 was good and tried to help. The other kept directing me to answer machines or 2 just hang up. I told them that I will like to present my complain and they were transferring to the supervisor, BUT MY CALL NEVER WENT THROUGH AGAIN ANSWER MACHINES AND HANG UPS. THAT IS WHAT IS THE CHEAP STATE FOR, LACK TRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACK OF INFORMATION...
I have spent a lot of money buying tickets with this site. But recently I requested them to reissue a ticket due to airline issue and it has been two weeks now nothing. They lied they would call within 24 hrs never got a call. Those Indian guys are rude as hell. They just want to get you off the phone quick. They don't listen. As a veteran who has saved this country, it pains me to be treated like sh*t. These guys need to be taught how to treat customers.
Tumaini, very sorry to hear of your recent customer experience with our office. I see that you had booked a reservation with us and had the wrong name put on the ticket. Once tickets are issued, name modification usually cannot be done. We contacted the airline on your behalf to request for a waiver, unfortunately Qatar airlines denied the request, therefore the only option was to refund that ticket which takes 1-2 billing cycles for a refund. After you purchased a new ticket with the correct name, you later were denied boarding because your passport was not valid 6 months past the travel dates. Again, this was not an error on our part, as we do advise this during your booking process regarding citizenship. So we are back to the part where we now must get a waiver request from Qatar once again to refund you that portion. These are not all easy fixes because we have to work with the airline and at times they are busy with other concerns. I see we sent several emails to you with updates, and spoke with you on Sept 12, I am sorry you were promised a call back within 24 hours, but the agent handling your file was not in the office. The agent will be in contact with you once they hear from the airline, so if they don't call it's because there is nothing to report at that time. We will also review the phone calls to make sure our agents are only offering exceptional customer service, any one found not, will be addressed.
Do not use this site for any kind of booking or traveling. They claim to be the cheapest flights but their pricing is almost triple that of any of the actual airline sites. Their customer service representatives are beyond rude and unhelpful and will do nothing but talk down to you and make you feel stupid for even thinking they would be the cheaper option. Save yourself the money and the headache and walk to wherever you might be traveling to before even considering using this joke of a site.
Every time I shop online for flights cheapoair always gets me the lowest fares. Even the hotel room booked was great. My friends bought a hotel room in the same hotel I got through CheapOair but they got theirs from bookings.com and I got a much better room than they did! THANK TOU CHEAPOAIR!
For what we paid for, we got great prices on a great airline. Website was simple to use and we had no issues. Will use them again.
I found this company through a comparison site and they quoted me £182 per person and I was happy with that as the airport and also the times fit my schedule. I clicked on their site to secure seats and entered all my details however when I booked the flight times and also the airport changed. I called them immediately to see if they can correct this and they said ''Oh this happens alot as our site sometimes offers you a cheaper alternative and people Dont realise'' the representative later explained there would be an admin fee what I expected to be around £50 as I was changing a flight i had booked seconds ago to the same air provider ( Ryan Air) he then came back with a price of £680. Then explained it may be worthwhile to just book another flight and he can help me with that at the cost of £960. If this is not a scam I dont know what is. He would not refund any more or help atall. I have since had to book new flights direct through Ryanair.

Cheap Oair is a scam. They offer you insurance incase something happens and if you try to use it, they tell you it's not covered. Yeah, they will offer to sell you another ticket at more than what you paid. Horrible customer service. I ended up purchasing new tickets directly from the airlines. Never recommend them or will use them again. Even if the ticket is cheaper.
Customer has an airline schedule change which the airline no longer was flying the particular flight. They offered another option for the customer, apparently that was not acceptable. Any "voluntary" changes made does require the cost of the new plane ticket and the airline change fee. By the customer going to the airline and buying a new ticket, cost him additional expense primarily because he now has a non refundable ticket that he didn't use towards the new purchase. Insurance coverage is posted on our website as well as on the confirmation, so you can review it and understand what is actually covered. We don't write the policy and it is upto the individual travel insurance company to determine what is covered and what's not.
CheapOair and One Travel are people of their words. I was offered a 100 dollars rebate for my air travel. They came through with those checks

It is very hard to understand how to book flights and confusing in which airline you are traveling. They change flights and flights get delayed very often with very long delays
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!

The customer's were offered the lowest fare that we provide. Southwest is not one of those carriers that we have published on our website. Insurance coverage was offered along with the terms of the coverage, they accepted, and later canceled it with a full refund.
