This is the WORST third party agent to book anything through. On July 13th 2018 I booked a two night reservation for Aug 10-12th. My flight was set to arrive at 12:15am and unfortunately, due to horrible weather my flight after 3am. Which means I was over 3 hours late for my reservation. I did not arrive to the hotel until almost 4 am. Reservation went from 2 nights to 1 night. Cheapoair has taken me in circles trying to get some type of credit and/or refund. They are telling me it is my fault and I should have called them. NEVER WILL I USE CHEAPOAIR AGAIN! And I'm going to tell everyone I know the same.
I bought 3 airline tickets on their website, after I submitted my payment, it showed a different departure day then the one I requested it... I immediately called their customer service department, I explained my issue to one of their agents over the phone, he was very unprofessional and rude, no customer service whatsoever... He said they will charge me a $25 dollar fee for each ticket if I cancel my reservations... Mind you, it hasn't been not even 1 hour after I booked the flight tickets. After a couple of minutes arguing their cancelation policy of 24 hours, they stated the tickets I bought was not covered under the 24 hours policy rule. So, I ended up wasting $75 dollars for no reason. Waste of time and money. RIP OFF, STAY AWAY!
I changed my wife's ticket for an earlier time because her mother was ill. The said they would charge me $35.00. When I looked at my bank statement it was $235.00. Who in the right mind would pay that amount? One agent told me that this was the price even if the ticket cost a million dollars. On the third call, they kept saying the same thing. That they would let me listen to the recording stating I had agreed to this cost. They never called back. I filed a fraud report through my bank. I doubt that they even have the recording and are hoping that I will go away. Next time I use Cheap O Air or call the airline directly. Stay away from these people. Yes, as long as you have a good experience it will be peachy. As soon as you need their help, the fraud rouse kicks in.
Why on earth would anyone use a discount website when they can get flights cheaperdirectly sthrough the airline? I booked a flight through CheapOair because they said they had the lowest price guarantee. I then went to the airline website and the tickets were $150 cheaper. I immediately called (within 10 minutes of booking) and the rep said "you will always pay higher through us a travel agency then directly through the airline" because we have extra fees, etc... are you kidding me!?!?!?! I told her I usually book through Expedia or Priceline and ALWAYS save $$$. If, not these wouldn't be in business just like CheapOair (or CRAP-O-Air) won't be in business long because they rip off people!
I booked hotel room with two beds for three people. When checking in at the hotel i was informed that one bed was booked. I tried to contact Cheapoair but got no help. Had to pay extra 420$ For extra bed. Althuogh it took several phone calls and a few months of waiting I finally got the refund. They have cheap prices but customer service is really slow.

For $15 a day which was the best price on cheapoairs website while booking my flight. After arriving at the airport we had to wait 1 1/2 hour and called 6 time for a shuttle. When the shuttle arrived there was more passengers then seats so the driver made some passengers sit on luggage's. At the Economy rental office the reps were insisting everyone had the pay huge extra insurance cost over and above the rates quoted (I didn't because I am a BCAA member) everything was prebooked on Cheapoair contract but after returning the car was charged $35 a day instead of $15 as quoted and Cheapoair did little to honour their contract. I give both Economy Car Rental and Cheapoair zero stars and will never use them again.

Worst company ever. They made me pay for preferred seats and when I got to the counter of the airline they where never processed! They took my money and when I called customer service after 20 minuted of coming and going they didint solve anything. I ended up without my seats and my money.

I bought a ticket on July 16 th to travel from IAD to ISB submit the payment and received a booking confirmation email. A week later I tried to check my itinerary on their website but couldnt find anything called them and they told me that the price for the ticket went up so their ticketing department couldnt book my ticket. They didnt send me any information regarding this so if I didnt call them I wouldnt have found out that my ticket was not book and how stupid is this that they show you a price on their website and when you book it and after receiving the confirmation that your ticket is booked they tell you that you cant get the ticket at that price. One more thing their customer service is horrible when called them the customer service representative who answer my call couldnt answer my question and then he put me on hold for more than 30 minutes and then the call was disconnected. Ill never buy from chepoair again and wont recommend to my family and friends either
I booked my flight from st louis to NY through cheapoair not only was there date selection difficult and constantly glitching when I finally booked my flight for what I had put in for 28th Aug it came through in my confirmation as 28th July. Customer service was terrible and there only solution for there problem was that I pay another $140 for another flight with them. I would never ever recommend them based on the conversation today and after reading more reviews just now I realise that I am not alone in flights been booked wrongly at the companies fault.
I have to be on 2 hour hold and they still haven't picked up my call yet. I don't know what to do so I can contact them to cancel my ticket. I don't know if is there another way to contact them.

Shocking booking system and customer service. We booked on Monday was asked to confirm credit card details on Tuesday and was told all was okay and we were sent booking confirmation for our flights. Cheapoair then email us just before midnight Friday to tell us our flights have gone up and we must pay the difference. This is bizarrely terrible customer service as we have printed out a booking confirmation receipt showing us all is okay with our booking and yet now we get this email from them telling us we must pay more. Its now past 12.30am Saturday morning and I am still on hold trying to make sense of this rubbish service from Cheapoair.
Wanted a specific date NEVER opted for an alternate date... Called immediately to change it on hold FOREVER then they wanted to charge me $15.00 to cancel. Then they disconnected me! THIS IS THE WORST EVER... I am calling a lawyer in the morning hopefully someone will do a class action suit against them!
We do offer alternate dates if the fare is cheaper. We do advise you in a pop up screen that you actually have to click to continue, and also at the end of the booking before you submit for purchase that you have chosen an alternate date. We do charge a processing fee which usually is $25.00 but customer was charged the minimal $15.00. As a travel agency, we are allowed to charge a fee for our services, and are not held by the "free" 24 hour grace period the airlines are held to.
I bought a ticket via Cheapoair from San Juan to Istanbul on 22rd March. And the operator the flight was operated by Aeroflot airlines When I arrived at the airport, passport desk told me that my passport would expire very soon. So I was not allowed to get on the airplane. I wanted to contact Aeroflot airlines. But I have been told me that calling CheapOair company. I made a call and explained the passport issue. They did noy help even CheapOair suggested me to buy a new ticket? Could you believe in that? They tried to sell a new ticket! Explaining situation with the Bolivian consultat for the passport and I made a call again then we made an aggrement for the late date tickect so I had to Cheapoair extra $63 dollars to renew the ticket. Additonally I paid them a hundred of dollars too! Now pay attention to here: A customer represantive from Cheapoair called me and said that Aeroflot was unable to change the orginal ticket to new one. I called Aeroflot office in Russia. They said that I need to contact Aeroflot office in Puerto Rico office. There is no office of Aeroflot office or whatever in Puerto Rico! Aeroflot airlines didn't not help at all! And they captured my money. In the end I just got 75 dollars refund! Don't fly with Aeroflot airlines! You will be regnet!
It is very important as a traveler you take notice of passport and or other documents you will be using for identification purposes that they are all upto date. Passports need to be valid 6months past your return date of travel.
If u cancel in 24 hours u never see your full money back.

This has been resolved, customer was refunded the entire ticket purchase and the non refundable service fee as a goodwill gesture.
You get what you pay for! Found a cheaper flight through the actual airline and could not cancel the flight I made through CHEAPO without paying penalties! So I stuck with it. Tried to select my seat assignment, and the website told me I had to wait until 24 hours prior to select my seats. When I tried - I was told I had to call their seat assignment number. When I did that, I was told that the seat selection was "closed" by the airline and that I had no choice but to take whatever seat the airline assigned me when I arrived for my flight! I ended up going through American Airlines (after jumping around on CHEAPO's website and finding a different link) and I paid an extra $25 TO THE AIRLINE in order to be able to select my own seat. There went any "savings". Website is difficult to use and to find what you need. Customer Service isn't much help (although they 'try'.) I will NEVER use them again. Don't be taken in by their "cheaper" prices. SHAME ON THEM!
I purchased a one way ticket for Sao Paulo Brazil for my friend that is being deported. The lawyer told me to buy for July 2nd and now the deportation officer said it has to be on the 5th. First I asked how much It would be the difference to change dates and it was almost 600 dollars on top of the 700 I already paid. And if I cancel the ticket the came up with this fees and air fair that is almost 400 dollars that I would be losing from the ticket. I just checked ORBITZ and they have a ri met for $768 for July 5th. I would never use or recommend this website to anybody. I don't have the money In the first place and I'm doing a good deed helping a friend out so he can go back to his country instead of rotting in jail for 1 year until they deport him.
I purchased two round trip tickets from this site. They gave me the tickets, and then I realized I needed an earlier time for the flight. So I called CheapOair to cancel and/or change to a better time. The guy on the phone told me that there would be no fees. I specifically asked about this, because my wife was standing behind me telling me to ask. The man on the phone said that there would be no cancellation fees at all.
So, when I rebooked and got back from the trip, wasn't I surprised to see an 80$ charge from cheapoair!
I filed a chargeback, because I had received nothing telling me about this 80$ charge, and they lied to the credit company and said that I cancelled my flight directly with the airline. I did NOT contact the airline once. I have phone records of about 10 minutes of calls with CheapOair (which I sent to my credit card company so they'll know that they were lied to).
I decided not to press the issue further except to leave reviews to warn people that this company has non-refundable charges and are willing to lie about the situation to your credit card company. Not a good site to do business with at ALL.
I will never be using them again, what an awful company.
Worst dishonest and disgraceful business. Their web site changed the date of my travel and it cost me over an hour, 6 transfers 2 hangups and finally an additional 90+ GBP to fix this.
Miko accepted a alternate date of travel because the airfare was cheaper. The add collect was what the actual price was for the date they required.
After I paid I found that out I made a little mistake... minute pass I called

This is an AWFUL company! I didn't canceled my booking! You worker cancelled without any information! He just asked the confirmation code! I didn't know and he didn't informed me I have 3 hours for cancellation! I found the same ticket for the exactly same price one and half hour later! I called your company and took them 3 hours for lying a telling the price of the ticket is higher than was 1 hour ago. Thanks God I recorded everything and tomorrow I will visit my lawyer. You took my time /3 hours/ for nothing. You took my money and now I have to wait couple days for refund! I ended up with high blood pressure because this situation make me so upset. I took the picture too! So thank you cheopoair! I was your customer many years! Disgusting! But I will fight for my rights! I can promise that! Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!

The hotel was in charge of the allowing a refund to the customer or not. When you are arriving late, you must let the hotel know, if not you are considered a no show and you can be charged for the room. We are working with the hotel to get back a portion of the 1 night room stay.
