The process for booking a flight and hotels was easy and straight forward. The only issue I've had is the linkage between Cheapoair and Booking.com. The hotel bookings I did through Cheapoair don't show up on Booking.com, even tho there is a reference to that booking being powered by Booking.com. Making that handoff seamless to users would be much better!

I received a call offering seat reservation and service which I accepted. She said she will send an email which after two days I have not received. When I checked my booking, I am being charged more than what has been told to me and only the return trip has seat reservation. I also sent a message thru messenger but have note received any replies
I will NOT recommend CheapOair. They are not updated with Travel Advisories or simple don't have the technology to inform their impacted travelers. They did not inform us of the US Ebola Travel Advisory and since you do not talk to a live person, communication to reroute was not expedited because I had to write an email, wait for New York offices to open, etc. We ended up buying new tickets for the second segment of our journey. I would not like anyone to go through the ordeal my family and I went through.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, we have reviewed your file and we show that Cheapoair sent a minimum of 8 emails first one was Dec 14,15,18,19,20,23 regarding schedule changes and also 3 regarding travel restrictions. They were never opened up until Jan 12 day after you were a no show at the airport for the flight. It is also a good idea to always reconfirm your flight with the agency or the airline directly before travel, in case important information is missed.
