Easy to navigate site.But, I went to United Airlines first and kept getting bumped to CheapOair to select United Airlines tickets. Why is this necessary? It complicates the process and makes one prone to selecting the wrong flight.
The airline nconfirmaion number is not prominently displayed, and it needs to be.

I got charged half the amount and not the full amount
On 9th Feb 2023, I check my flight status on the website since I had received no communication via email and saw a payment error. The website kept throwing me in a loop. I click on congratulations and it took me to the error page where it asked me to update my payment. When I clicked on update payment it took me back to the confirmation page. So in short the website was of no use.
I later called their customer service team. They kept on transferring me for over an hour and no one knew the right department. Finally someone from the credit card decline team said they would cater to the issue. They told me that I will receive a call in 3-4 hours and I kept waiting the entire day and received nothing.
The next day, 10th Feb 2023, I called again to check whats wrong. Again I had to wait for over an hour just to get connected to the right person who then said she would be able to charge my card for the other partial payment. She successfully charged my card but I received no email from you guys again. She assured me that in 2-3 minutes I would receive it. Again nothing
I call again after a few hours and again went through the same process of transfers. One agent said that your booking is cancelled then another said its processing, they kept on transferring me to different different people and the issue is still not solved.
The entire process was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING and made me felt like screaming my lungs out. I hope my complaint gets taken seriously. Between this, a customer service representative deliberately even cut the call, and another named "Yzag" deliberately transferred my call to the sales when I asked for a supervisor.
This is the 4th trip I've scheduled on cheapOair - so far excellent
There seems to have been some computer glitch or something (maybe the hotel didn't confirm?) and it didn't confirm my initial reservations. Bart had to call me back after 30 minutes elapsed...I have since had to re-do everything at an increased price and the charges on my credit card are mounting! I'm very concerned that the charges will have to be credited back (and will that happen and successfully) and I've never had this happen before...Bart has been a very amazing, patient, and compassionate CheapOAir customer representative and there aren't enough stars available in the galaxy to show his worth! It stated that checked baggage was included in the fare, but now there seems to be an additional cost.

BEWARE! We booked our flight for our honeymoon and paid our flight, baggage fees and upgraded seats at that time. We paid $771, then the next day we see they charged another $184 without contacting us to get authorization for this charge! When we contacted them, turns our they charged this fee for our upgraded seats, which we had already paid the agreed to price of $338, now they upped it to $522! The seats are now costing more than double what the flight was! They refuse to make any adjustment even though I have the original invoice showing we were already charged for our seat upgrade- TOTAL SCAM! I would completely cancel and rebook through a reputable site but they refuse to refund my money!

I enjoyed how easy it was for me to view and understand the information on the site. I was able to select the flight and time I wanted and make my purchase with easy. I was delighted that I was able to also select which I wanted to travel in.
Paying for travel protection does not refund you your money if you pay for it. It only helps in case of an emergency. If you were to even mess up on your flight dates and change them the same day they won't refund you your money if you try to cancel and they charge you $210 if you change it. Definitely check your dates before booking or better yet go with a different site..
Our apologies for the inconvenience, trip cancellation insurance is for medical related issues and does state that on the policy. There is no insurance sold that allows you to get a refund for making an error, or cancelling a non refundable ticket for a refund. Insurance is for unforseen circumstances which your reasoning does not fall into this category.

After posting this review, Cheapoair reached out several times with more concrete answers on how and where the process of the refund is at with the airline Sunwing. Soon after, the airline refunded my credit card with the amount of $1642 and $375 as promised.

You only know how good or bad a service or product is when you see how a company deals with issues when they arise. I have been a customer with cheapoair for over 8 years and only recently I witness how poor their customer service is; when a flight back home that I booked through them was canceled by the airline. The airline sent out an email saying they will refund all passengers through original method of payment. Since I have purchased my 3 family's tickets through cheapoair, I had to go through them for the refund. Hours and Hours of waiting on the phone and no resolution till today from cheapoair. All what I hear is that "we are still waiting for the airlines to respond". I wish I booked my tickets directly through the airline. I am still waiting for over $1500 in refund from cheapoair and not very confident that it will be an easy journey considering thier inadequate response for the past 2 months. Stay away from using their services. Book directly through the airlines.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
