Cheap Flight Fares booked my flight for Dallas Fort Worth airport but booked my rental car for Dallas love field airport. This gave me the inconvenience of having to pay for an uber to drive me 20+ minutes to the other airport. The rental car attendant told me that Cheap Flight Fares makes this error all the time. This is careless and very inconvenient.
I booked online for tickets and received a confirmation email. When I woke up the next morning, I had an email that stated that they have tried to contact me and it was URGENT that I contact them as my reservation has not been confirmed. I called that morning and they said that the seats on the plane were sold out and that my credit card is not authenticated. I know that's not true because I triple-checked it before clicked on Submit! Then he tells me that he can book me on (the same) flight (yep the one that they sold out and released my seats on) with upgrades and free baggage for a MERE DOUBLE THE PRICE what I had originally booked for. I checked their website again while on the phone with him and the price is still the same which I told him and he said it was probably a mistake. Your company is a mistake! I argued with him about the validity of his websites, his false claims of calling me several times, and his upselling after my 'seats sold out to other customers'. Needless to say, I cancelled the 'reservation'. Waiting to see if they charge my card, but so far they have not. Long story short, DON'T DO IT!
I have NEVER had such a horrible experience! I will NEVER use this company again! I was told my credit card was declined (the guy put my info in wrong). When he corrected it, he said I would be refunded the first charge of $219. WHY WOULD I NEED A REFUND IF IT WAS DECLINED? I was only refunded $29! Then my booking confirmation said my total was $409. When I asked about this, I was put on hold and left there. Never received a confirmation email. Tried to cancel my reservation within a few hours of booking and although the website says you have 24 hours to cancel, I was told I could only receive a "credit" and could not cancel. Spent the ENTIRE DAY talking to different people, only to be put on hold by ALL of them and they usually did not return. Had to contact my bank to notify for fraud activity. Will never make this mistake again. Seriously, save yourself the trouble and DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL COMPANY. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN! Another issue I had was that no one I spoke with could speak fluent English and they were frustrated when I asked them to repeat things.
Scam, scam scam! People do not order any tickets from this website. They are just people who take your money and give you the wrong ticket and you cannot use these tickets to fly anywhere. On July 7, I paid to this company $1,600 to fly to Russia and back to the United States. First I had a problem when I came to the airport on July 7 they didnt even have my flight. I was crying because it was my vacation and Finally, I contacted to cheapflights.com but it took me two hours because they kept hanging up on me all the time. Finally, they changed my flight to July 10. I flew to Russia, and before I ask them what about my return tickets. They told me everything was already confirmed, I had seats already and didnt need to worry about. In Russia the same thing happened, I went to the airport and my flight was canceled. I had to purchase tickets to get to the United States. And I paid another $800 to use a different airline to come back to the United States. When I came back I called them and ask what happened and why my return flight was canceled. They told me they will be in contact with FinAir and I will get my refund money for the tickets. I call them every two weeks and they keep saying next month next month and don't want to refund me. Today they gave me FinAir's phone number and told me to call them myself. After 3 months of waiting for the refund. These people are not proffesional, they dont have any responsibility for the travelers or any tickets, and if the flight gets canceled they don't even contact you. They don't care what happens to you in a different country. Avoid this website and never ever buy any tickets from them.
BE AWARE! They will not contact you and offer a new itinerary, FREE OF CHARGE, or full refund when an airline makes a change to your booking. If you are not checking your flight via airline website before your departure you will end up without tickets and your vacation will be ruined. If you find out something is wrong with your tickets they will lie to you telling you need to purchase new tickets and pay for the difference. They will start high and negotiate it down while all along you can get them (tickets) via the actual airline and FREE OF CHARGE! Just tell them the agency is not communicating with you. Both, UNITED and SWISS Airline, helped me directly and issued new itinerary and emailed me e-tickets.
Seriously, I know their prices are low but please check BBB website and the complaints against them. Go directly through an airline, you will save yourself headaches and frustrations!
Before the onset of COVID I booked 2 tickets to Disneyland only to have to postpone the trip due to Disneyland shutting down. I was told I could rebook at a different time as long as I booked before June 11. I booked my new flight well before the cut off time and the flights showed in my wallet on the Delta website. I thought all was good, just to find out cheapflights did do the booking but did not issue me a ticket. Delta airlines removed my booking because there was no ticket attatched and I am out $315 and am now trying to book with delta for a trip that is 11 days away. I have tried to talk to cheapflights reps to get any info on how to get my money back but get put on hold and no one ever returns on the phone.
Looks like my flight will now cost me $660... I will never use them again and encourage everyone else to please spend the little extra and go straight through the airline.
I booked online for tickets and an hour later, they emailed and/or called back that my CC is not authenticated. I know that's not true because I triple-checked it before clicked on Submit. Now that I called back, they said the price had been gone up almost double if I still want it. I double-check a website again and the price is still the same but this time didn't put the CC yet. That tells me that they try to steal your information and at the same time try to use the same lie again about CC does not work.
They try to charge you for customer service. I book online and have confirmation, in my way to the airport, the call me to cancel my trip as it was an error and they need to book me in another trip. No only they Didn't change my reservation, they charge me 522 for her to call me n tell me they make a mistake an have to change my reservation. They are scam
Be very careful if you book with this company. Although their website stated that they have a 24 hours cancellation period without a fee, it is only for domestic flights. Their customer service representatives are very misleading. Their prices are higher than other websites and they don't have a lower price guarantee. If you're looking for professional service and a reliable company look somewhere else. Don't waste your money with this company! Even their 1800 number doesn't work
We have had so much aggravation with this company! They promised we would get a refund due to Covid, called us when we first posted a bad review and wanted us to take it down. The one supervisor told us he would look into it and get back to us about the refund, as long as we took down the review. We have waited THREE MONTHS and called him numerous times leaving messages. No wonder there are only good reviews. They ask you to take it down and continue to rip off people. I don't know what has been worse. Dealing with Covid or this incompetent company. NEVER AGAIN! And no, don't bother calling to have us take this down again, just so your company can continue to screw people. From now on, only dealing directly with the airlines themselves. NIGHTMARE!
Booked flight for five with no issues two days before the flight I get a call from airline saying some one called us using your name and wanted to change your seat assignments because two people where blind (none of us are blind) I called airline direct and the lady was really nice and she found out that they charged us for seating that we will not get, over charged us $15 dollars / seat as well as over charging us $12 dollars/ checked bag we ended up being overcharged a total of $200 for these reservations. They need to be banned from the options to book flights this is ridiculous it is actually a scam stealing money from you. Call the airline company direct or use a reputable booking agency
Wosrt service ever. I had to cancel my flight and they gave me a credit. I tried to use my credit seven months later and I tried to use my credit they hung up on me 5 times and another 3 times said the manager will call me back and no return call. I kept calling still no response. Me and my husband was trying to get in touch of headquarters about their service. The worst ever, please do not use this company
I spoke with a representative that tried to charge me $150 when changing my flight date. I told him to find a flight that would not charge me extra. He found a different flight and assured me that there would be no extra charge. He sent the flight confirmation to my email. When my daughter and I arrived at the airport I was informed that the company left me with a $153 bill to be paid before we could receive our tickets. I received a confirmation email of the flight changes with out an extra charge. I had no choice to pay since we were already at the airport and our flight was about to leave. Terrible!
Never book your flight here. If you want your flight to be cancelled at the very last minute this is your choice.

They steal your information and call back telling your flight reservations were sold before confirmed through the airlines. This is a typical wqay to steal info and sell our info to other countries. I am reporting them to the California's or Ohio AG's Office. They use a CA phone number to call back but appear based out of Ohio. Please make reports to AG's office for them to look at consumer fraud.

Terrible customer service and company policy focused around trying to make money off customers every way possible. They only let you cancel within 24 hours of the booking if you want your money back, otherwise they give credit. This is exactly 24 hours and you have to speak to the person who "booked" your flight. This literally means you have to call their customer service and wait for them to call you back with some other worker in order to make a cancellation, something that should only take seconds. This is just another one of those sites intended to be a parasite on anyone looking to travel at a reasonable price instead of actually providing a service worth paying for. I'd rather walk to my next vacation stop then buy from these insufferable uneducated idiots.

I was called instantly after I made my reservations. Thought it was really nice, the man told me I could not choose my seats or pay for my carry on luggage. Turns out I didn't have to pay for carry on it was free. He also told me I couldn't check in on line... not true again! I was charged an additional 150.00 to do what I paid for to begin with...
Don't fall for the extras. You can do it yourself. I will never use this site again

We are scheduled to travel in May. I tried calling these folks. I could not understand them. They were unable to answer my questions. I understood that I was booking through United Airlines, when in fact I ended up booking through this place. Never again!

Answer: If you have been offered a free flight or any promotion by Frontier Airlines directly. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use it with any Travel agency. You can redeem your free flight directly with the airline.
