I ordered a bearded dragon for my grandson's birthday from cbreptile.com. His family purchased all of the supplies needed to house this pet. The pet did not arrive on his birthday. I called and was convinced to accept a different bearded dragon, which arrived a week later. Within a few weeks, the pet appeared to have problems. I called cb reptile several times. My son called cb reptile several times. No response. To no one's surprise, the morning my son was to take the pet to a vet, the pet died - less than a month after its arrival. I called cb reptile several times and wrote to them. No reply, no refund. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
They should just refund, in full, if they can't deliver within a real timeframe.
Really kind of lame. Disappointed kid. Disappointed dad.
I ordered a turtle from this company 10 days ago, based off the "shipping chart" on their website i should have received my animal at worst 5 days ago. Nobody contacted me regarding my purchase at all until I finally reached out to them wondering why I hadn't received a shipping confirmation. Well now after 10 days they claim it will be 3-7 more business before I receive the animal I already paid for. This is absolutely a form of false advertising as they are using this quick shipping chart to push sales. Steer clear of this company that I'm not even sure is real
My baby bearded dragon was late due to him having to be quarantined. He had some real sick brothers and sisters, so CB took the rest out to make sure they were healthy for almost two weeks... to make sure I got a healthy baby. Whew, boy, did I ever. The little guy is tiny... but super feisty. He nodded and bit his toy dragon twice! He's on his huge tree, but leaning waaay back because he's afraid he might miss something. Curious little bugger! He's already pooped! And he's drinking water, and eating like a boss! CBReptile is top notch! Any time I sent an email it was always answered promptly and politely. The heat pack was super warm and he was alert and curious straight out of the box. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. It doesn't make sense to me because my baby is awesome sauce (and soooooo active!) CBreptiles, thank you for my tiny, feisty, active baby! I will buy from you again!
Awful customer service. Their phone always goes directly to voicemail and takes forever to get back to you. Ordered a panther chameleon, chose a male and paid the extra charge to get one. Got a female in the mail and they refuse to reimburse me for the male up charge. Terms and conditions are very sketchy. But why let people choose a sex if you can't guarantee it? Seems like a scam to me. Will never buy from this business. Please choose to go to a more reputable breeder if you can
I admonish you, do not engage in a transaction with this company, pay the extra and get it from somewhere else. 1). My 13 year old was ordering a Chameleon, they processed my credit card with her information on it. 2) If the name on the order didn't match the name on the CC is should not have been processed. 3). Emailed them a few times as her parent, they never replied to me, but directly to this 13 year old. Order placed Jan 05, and every week they have been saying " we're waiting until next week, the breeders are watching them". If that was the case the CC should not have been charged, but a hold put on it until the chameleon was actually sent. I had them cancel the order and advised them to email me directly for confirmation that the card was refunded, again No reply! They cancelled the order, but never emailed me. Well, I hope my CC is refunded, if not it's going to be pretty ugly for this company processing a CC under a different name and a 13 year old at that. Please do not let them tell you how busy they are as a reason for not replying because it's a family owned small company. I have a family owned clinic and I always respond to my clients, ALWAYS, it's what one would call professionally courtesy.
Buyer beware this is a store that goes by a few different names CB reptile, Tortoise town... they are both rip offs. Horrible customer service they don't return calls or answer any questions and they blame everything on Covid! Mark my words. Do some research And look at the real reviews, before purchasing from here. All of their products are overpriced!

Please do not buy anything from CB Reptile. First off, they have horrible communication. I put in an order on Saturday afternoon. According to their website, delivery would be on Tuesday morning. I changed my schedule at work so that I would be available. Come Monday afternoon I had not heard anything. I emailed, called, and texted. Finally, all I received was an automated text saying my order had a tracking number. By Tuesday morning, I had still heard nothing and there was no updates on my package. After trying over and over again to get a hold of them, someone finally answered and just said "whoops it didn't get sent out". I never received any communication from them about any delays and only found out because I relentlessly reached out. Once I finally received my turtle, it was not the turtle I ordered. I was supposed to get a 4-month well started turtle but got a very very new hatchling. The turtle also looked nothing like the photos on the website. All over this was the worst customer experience I have received and there was just a complete lack of care for the animal and the customer. I will not be using their services and I highly recommend you order from a company that cares about their animals and their well-being. In regards to the new turtle, he will be super loved!
Don't buy from these guys, I made the mistake and didn't read the reviews of this company. Ordered a juvenile BEL. Payed extra for a juvenile female. Received a baby MALE BEL. They either conned me or are ignorant. Maybe both. Customer service is horrible.
I bought the cutest hatchling turtle from them. He was doing good and he always ate but I noticed his shell was very squishy and there was white all over his shell. Just last night he was swimming a lot and there was tons of food for him to eat and there was no way he drowned. I noticed him scratching his face a lot and when I come in to check in the morning he's dead it's only been 2 weeks he's been eating fine and had many ways to get air there's only a few inches of water in the tank so that leads me to believe he came with parasites. They obviously don't care about their turtles because they sent me one with a squishy white shell I can't even believe he's dead do not buy here I'm sure most of their animals don't come like this but I feel horrible.
I ordered a designer veiled chameleon from CB reptile this year, August of 2020. I paid $250 that included overnight shipping. I did not receive my chameleon until almost a month and a half later even though the chameleon I ordered said it was in stock on the website. I called, texted, emailed numerous times to check on the status of my order and they continued to give me the run-around..."Oh, another 7-10 business days... we are having trouble with our breeders..." Well, I only ordered that chameleon because it said it was in stock and I wanted it within the 2 weeks. I let 7-10 business days pass and called again, asking where my chameleon is. They responded with the same, oh it is going to be another 7-10 business days. This happened again an THIRD time and at this point, I had purchased crickets and live food for my chameleon and all of it was dying off so I started to actually waste money so I requested a full refund and that they could keep their chameleon. They quickly responded with "OH WAIT! We just found one!"... OK like wtf? Was it hiding, why were they holding out on me? I reluctantly accepted and disclaimed that this chameleon better not be sick or damaged because if it is, I would rather take the refund. They said it was healthy.
The next day my chameleon arrived. I had everything set up to perfection in its habitat. I consulted with a vet to make sure conditions were right before placing my chameleon inside its terrarium. THE CHAMELEON LASTED A WEEK BEFORE DYING. It refused to eat, even though I provided plenty right-sized live feeders for the chameleon. It refused to drink even thought i had a dripper and mister system. It slowly died. It was a sick chameleon.
Overall, terrible customer service. I would recommend dealing with someone local as to not stress the chameleon out with shipment. These people are scammers and continued to ignore me and provide terrible customer service. I have also filed a report with the BBB. They need to be SHUT DOWN!
I purchase a Nosy Be back in June 28th they sent me my Chameleon, but UPS lost it. Three days later it was delivered dead of course. I tried to get UPS to pay me they never did. Then CB reptile offered to replace my Nosy Be it took awhile but finally got him. My kids and super happy with the little guy. CB reptile made it right I would definitely buy again and recommend them to all. Eating like a champ.
I ordered over 5 months ago and still have not received my panther chameleon, whenever I talk to them I get cop out responses like "we are waiting for u to receive the cage and other materials" I got all that 2 months ago and when I said that they replied with "we are waiting for a good time to send your reptile"
I ordered a baby Sulcata Tortoise from them and received it the next morning came healthy and very alert very great customer service DEFINITELY recommend
They sent the first bearded dragon quickly. Upon arrival the packaging was poor. The baby bearded dragon was in a circle container smaller than the dragon. He was cushioned with a paper towel and two pieces of tissue paper. He was not able to move and died less than 6 hours later. The next bearded dragon took over a month to arrive. I never received a shipping email or confirmation of arrival. I inquired as to what was going on, and 10 days later they responded to my email and told me it had been delivered. It was sent to the wrong address, with a signature nothing close to my name. After some impressive detective work from myself, I found him in a tote outside where he had assumedly been for 10 days. Since then he has been brought back to a healthy state. Customer service was zero help other than suggesting, "looking around for the bearded dragon". Not once did they apologize or explain what went wrong, and they never explained why they had shipped the dragon two weeks after I ordered it. I will never buy from them again.
I ordered a bearded dragon never received it and it still has not been shipped out. I sent an email to them and they said my beardie will be shipped out within the next 10 business days. That was a MONTH ago! 6 days ago I sent another email asking if there were any updates on my beardie. They have not replied.
I really love my new baby blue iguana, the buisness had it delivered by the next day, Hes beautiful and healthy
I bought a tangerine albino supergiant leopard gecko. It has a neurological disorder and came super skinny you can see his shoulder blades and barely has thickness to the tail. He's alive but didn't come in good shape.
Excellent customer service. High quality cages. The chameleon is perfect. It did take a little longer than expected but There is a pandemic going on. Anytime I had a question about my order and it's status. CB reptile always gave quick and thorough responses. Just got my chameleon last night and he is on his way to being well adjusted and is perfectly happy in his new home
Answer: I pick random reptile shops for the hell of it I trust anyone(it's a flaw)
Answer: The reason why you didn't receive any shipping information is because they are a scam company that doesn't follow their own rules. They may not even have the reptiles that they sold you and are waiting for them to hatch or will find them anyway they can without regard to the animal's health or the customers wallet.
Answer: Scam reptile mill company don't support them they don't care for their reptiles and defraud their customers.
