This company legitimately robs you of your money when purchasing digital/electronic gift cards.
I purchased two $10 gift cards and one $5 gift card from Roblox, (they are partnered with Cashstar)
And while all three orders were confirmed, they were all unable to process. (2 emails per order)

This is the issue with this company, it charges you before the order even processes, and there's a good chance there's going to be a "processing error" anyway as said in Roblox Customer Service.
I did get a refund for all 3 orders eventually, but this company is practically fraud.
I have used a credit card and this is what happened, and it's not even letting me use my PayPal instead!

If I were you, I would rather just use GameStop or Amazon as an alternative if you are planning to purchase digital gift cards. My conclusion? CashStar is pretty much a scam.

On May 24th 2022, I bought 2 5$ Roblox gift cards directly from Roblox, but they are partnered with Cashstar, after successfully buying that, I got emailed, the first one saying that the order was a success, BUT the second one said failed to process the order, I lost my money, they never replied, the customer service is trash, you should never trust cashstar.

I bought a 100$ HomeDepot gift card I thought through HD for my friend who bought a new home. I didn't realize I was buying through a 3rd party vendor. 2 weeks later and no gift card. I emailed Cashstar who said it could take 3 weeks to get there. I didn't realize it was being delivered by Pony Express. This isn't how ethical businesses conduct themselves. Please don't get scammed by CashStar!

Purchased a $200 gift card as a present. Took it to BestBuy to use and they said they do not accept giftcards from "3rd Parties". CashStar customer service is ridiculous. Submitted ticket for refund over a week ago, received email confirmation of ticket submitted -then nothing. I thought i was buying this from BestBuy

I use Starbucks cash star to send egift cards for friends and family birthdays. So far no issues. But these reviews have me afraid to expand.

I bought a Roblox Gift Card from them in 2020, 2021 and 2022 but got an automatic error every time and a manual refund.
Yes, and their support is not responding. They quietly return the money without trying to solve something.

I tried to buy a card from different bank cards, different emails, different accounts.

Attempts to contact Live Chat were unsuccessful. They can't do anything but ask to contact another support team that ignores the messages.

CashStar hates its customers because it doesn't even try to solve their problems.
I'm surprised CashStar hasn't gone bust yet. If i would be in the place of a company that makes money on Gift Cards like Roblox, and if I found out that CashStar has problems with sales, I would refuse to cooperate, since CashStar harms the business by lowering the number of sales with its bugs and canceling the purchase.

I live on the other side of the world and my cc was used by this company for a gift card purchase. I notified my bank of the fraudulent transaction for a refund. Be aware!

CashStar state that they tried making a secure gift card company, but they most definitely failed … they sent my card to the wrong email (probably an inside job) and the only thing worse than their fraudulent company is their customer service.

Cashstar is literally a scam. My friend gifted me premium on roblox using cashstar platform yet cashstar failed to send me an email or anything informing me i had gotten the 10$ premium. I seriously hope roblox gets sued for partnering with an untrusted company/source.

They sell gift cards for companies like FIVEGUYS but have little or no support when the cards don't work or partially work. Then it just turns into everyone pointing fingers at each other (like fiveguys pointing at cashstar and the fiveguys purchased pos system PAR/Brink. What a mess. If you see ANY link to cashstar on a gift card to plan to buy... run away and stay away. Avoid frustration.

I ordered a roblox gift card from cash star. Then it's said that I canceled my order. I tried emailing them and they are telling me that I will get my refund soon. But when I have been waiting since yesterday.

I purchased 200 dollar gift card thru this shell company and got confirmation then immediately got notification saying I asked for refund I did not. I got now gift card that I purchased but they sure took that money. Their customer service is none existent. They are rude and won't help you. 5 days and it says still pending in my account so my card holder team can't dispute them. I have spoke to and escalated with multiple people with this scam of a company. Not one of them can help or have clue what is going on.

I attempted to buy a digital gift card for my friend and each time i tried to order it, it said the order "wouldn't process". The orders never came through however cashstar still took money out from my account. They promise a refund but i never got it. So i bought a robux gift card because i was feeling adventurous right? I got two emails at the same time one saying the purchase couldn't go through and another saying it did and i'd get an email shortly getting the card info. I didn't get it. I waited 5 hours and still no gift card info so of course i contacted both roblox and cashstar, only roblox got back to me and they didn't even help. Still waiting for my money and remember kids never buy from cashstar even if roblox recommends it buy from walmart or target!

BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Did not deliver gift card. Did not receive notice of non-delivery. This company could be a scam. AVOID!

1. Never received 2. Told me give it 30 days! What?! 3. No one responded when spoke to c/s they told me they need pass on info to customer support. Refund took FOREVER! When I call cs you have to speak to someone (middle man) who has to create ticker send info to cs support. U will never speak directly to gift card cs if u have issues

On Dec. 16th 2021 I ordered a $100 Home Depot gift card. I thought surely with more than a week till Christmas they can easily get this to the recipient on time. Wrong: 6 days later on the 22nd I receive and email that it is just now being shipped. As of today... Dec. 31st, Christmas has come and gone and recipient has still not received their gift card.

I contacted CashStar customer service and they said to give it 30 days, it may still be in processing?

If it's still in processing then CashStar lied! It was never mailed.

Well seen the reviews so had to test it out with my PayPal account instead of bank card. I paid for robux gift card for daughter $10 and it has sent the confirmation. My payment was 1 time fee no third party so this is an good place to buy gift cards love it.
