The process was easy and efficient. They are quick with responding to your concerns or questions and they seem honest.

On their website they offered us $70 per laptop for "good condition" units. These were near mint. Once they received them from us, they made us an offer, they only offered us $25 ea. Saying they showed signs of use. They also said that the units were defective due to only having 62% of battery life left. It was never mentioned in their offer that this would be the case. They said we can send them back if we paid the shipping, which was going to cost $28. Don't send any laptops to these shysters!

CashForUsedLaptop was a wonderful site. I got a confirmation call imediately and placed my laptop in a box and dropped it off at UPS. A week later when it was revived I got a confirmation text and the amount I was supposed to receive. It was a see me less process and easier than getting a quote from a local shop. Made my life a lot easier. I would do this again.

Do not trust the 5 star reviews, they are paid for. After leaving my review, this company left multiple voicemails and e-mails attempting to bribe me with $25 more to change it to a 5-star.

They also claim on their website that they are BBB accredited. Check out Hummingbird International LLC on BBB. They are not accredited because they have an F.

As expected, this company was completely fraudulent in their schemes of appearing to offer more for your used laptop only to receive it and come back with bogus reasons as to why it's worth less than half of what their original quote was.

The laptop I sent them had sat unused for several years with maybe 10 hours of use on it and a missing battery, as it had died due to sitting for so long. That was made very clear in my initial communication with them.

Before sending, I asked for confirmation on my quote as I was actually sending them an 8th generation and only 7th was selectable on their website. I was told by Joshua that a revised offer for the newer generation could not be given until I took the time to pack it up and ship it to them.

They received my laptop on a Wednesday. Their website claims you will be given an estimate and paid within one business day of receiving. My e-mail I sent to them on Friday (after not hearing anything back for two days) was ignored and Monday morning they came back with a lowball offer three business days later.

Not only was that revised offer less but it was less than half of what I was quoted for the older generation because of an "expired warranty" and "major marks or damage." Of course this laptop had an expired warranty, it was made in 2018. It had one tiny superficial scratch on the lid and not a single other sign of usage.

Not only that, but after being informed of their new offer- the new quote on their website for that laptop model miraculously dropped in value by a substantial amount. This is a total bait and switch operation, if you still choose to deal with them be prepared to fight tooth and nail to make it anywhere near the first offer they give.

-communication was timely and they were very professional
-the "offer" was less than the "original quote" but everything was explained in detail and they provided pictures as well so I could understand why they chose to adjust the prices.
-I recommend selling in bulk here. There is an 80% chance you will not like the "offer" once they evaluate your tech if you are only selling one item.
