I wish I could give Carvana zero stars. The condition of the vehicle we purchased was severely misrepresented, in the words of our Toyota certified mechanic. Yet Carvana's warranty company SilverRock will cover only 27% of the repair bill, leaving us with over $1800 in repairs and maintenance before we have driven the vehicle anywhere except to the mechanic for inspection. If we return the vehicle to Carvana we forfeit the delivery fee of $1790, so either way we lose. I have made multiple calls to Carvana's customer service only to be read a script about how they want to "take care" of me and "advocate" for me. But when I ask exactly HOW they plan to advocate for me, there is no answer. The supervisor with whom I had my most recent conversation (Edith) offered to ask SilverRock (their warranty company) why they wouldn't pay more towards repairs (SilverRock has already answered this question) but refused to ask SilverRock to reconsider. Clearly she does not know the meaning of the word advocate. Also clear is the fact that SilverRock is a warranty/insurance company and their business model revolves around keeping payouts at a minimum. DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANA. They care nothing about their customers, and working with them will only lead to disappointment, frustration, and unplanned for repair bills. I am now going to my state's attorney general's office to make a complaint. The more people who know about Carvana's unethical business practices, the fewer people Carvana will be able to take advantage of in the future.

Carvana is fraud!
July 15, 2023

Have a Kia Sorento 2017! I've only had the car 4 months. With the 3rd month I start having trouble come to find out from a Kia dealership the engine is no good. Carvana doesn't want to fix the issue. Even with Kia stating the problem was already there before my purchase. The car wasn't checked like they have claimed. What can I do bc I don't want to be stuck with the credit nor have a bad report on my credit history. It's almost 9,000 to even get the car fixed and it's not fair due to the problem not being my fault.

I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator with only 20,501 miles on it. It is garage kept with thousands in add-ons, like the bed liner, bed cover, step up side rails, diver seat covers and more! It the Sport S CA Freedom Edition with max tow package and the winter package. Carvana offered me $27k for a $44k Jeep Gladiator in pristine condition. So you picking it up is worth a $17k+ payday, I think NOT! I'll take my changes on all the FREE platforms then trade it in, since my offer stands at $37k, which is a $10k difference.

Purchased a fully loaded 2022 BMW 430i Xdrive ( 6,500 miles) with M sport package for only $45,000 which is a real bargain considering a brand new one straight off the lot would cost me $65,000. This car was very clearly a garage queen for the first 15 months of its life. The paint was in perfect condition, no faint clear coat scratches from poor washing habits, no dents, no rock chips no nothing other than perfect pristine paint; it is unnerving how free of damage the car is.

Took the car to my nearest BMW dealer to get it state inspected and they were done in 15 minutes, car was flawless no error codes no nothing, tires still had 85% of their original tread left. This Beamer drives fantastic, takes turns like nobody's business and these breaks stop on a damn dime, not to mention the car can hit 100 mph extremely fast it's an absolute blast to drive.

Out of all the overly negative reviews Carvana has i was a bit worried but I can confidently say I got one hell of a deal and the process of signing for the car and it being delivered couldn't of been smoother.

Don't buy from them unless you want to be driving illegally. They had over 3 months to get my car registered and titled in Pennsylvania and they failed. My temporary paper tag expired 11 days ago and I still have no registered or titled car. 3 times I sent them all the documents they asked for same documents each time and when I'd call they would blame me. I would call they'd say they need me to send again. They are known for this they are fast to sell you, but after the sale they FAIL!? BUYER BEWARE!

Crooks
July 6, 2023

I jumped through all the hoops and was ready to head out in the morning to take my car and trade it for a new one. Then last minute I get an email saying the deal has to be redone because they want to give me 3,000 less for my car because it has 300 more miles than I said it did. After checking out this page I feel like I just dodged a bullet l.

Ripoff
July 5, 2023

Great concept but unreasonable expectations. I understand I have less than better credit and its due to the pandemic and medical reasons and with that my credit tanked.

I'm reasonable and in the past I could walk into any dealership do a sign and drive, in n out 15 minutes with whatever new car I wanted. Times have changed and I'm happy with a used seven year old $12,500 car with 100,000 miles.
Carvana terms for my pre-qualification is 18% ARP which I'm ok with. A 72 month term, which I'm ok with as well. But my down payment $10,900. Now I understand that they are securing their asset and I'm a potential risk, but if I had that amount of money, don't you think I would pay cash for a car?
My situation is embarrassing but Caravana is insulting.

I was pre-approved for financing, picked out a car online, began their website purchase process two evenings ago and was told by their website to submit insurance proof for the vehicle "within 3 days". The very next day I got a text saying I had 4 hours to submit all documentation and proof of insurance and they also needed income and banking documentation. I jumped through some hoops and submitted everything that was requested within one and a half hours of the requests, including the insurance coverage. One minute after the new "deadline" passed I STILL got a text stating I had "missed the deadline" even after monitoring my account every few minutes to make sure I caught any requests for more info. My order was placed on hold due "my failure to submit everything on time" according to Sebastian their AI chat or text bot. Aggravated and slightly alarmed, I cancelled the order by chat with the AI, a human rep for Carvana, and verified by email and my online account the order was in fact cancelled by Thursday 5 pm CST. I also asked a human on chat with Carvana to make sure my banking info was removed from the purchase and she assured me it was now that the order was cancelled. I was suspicious though and I moved my down payment back into savings where it could not be charged out of my checking account, "just in case". Well, "just in case" emailed me an hour ago today and told me my down payment "did not go through", that there was some kind of problem with my bank. LOL. Yes, Carvana, there is a problem with my bank. They don't let their customers get ripped off by crappy business models like yours! Trust your gut, folks, this company is just hot garbage with raw sewage topping. This company is being sued in Pennsylvania, has had to settle fines and suits in California, and Florida has also had issues with their violating DMV laws. Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT attempt to do business with this trash heap. They are on their way down and will try to take their customers with them. The owner was charged and plead guilty to bank fraud charges in the 1990s. Look it all up, it's a matter of public record and found via Google.

Scammers
June 28, 2023

Was selling my car to Carvana and got an offer good for 7 days. But they shuffle their feet until the offer expires, and "invite" you to update your offer. The subsequent offer was $1500 lower! Scam operation.

Terrible!
June 26, 2023

Took forever to review a car that I had reserved and then it said someone else bought it when they didn't even let me know inspection was completed. I don't want to give any stars because of the incompetency.

I did everything I was supposed to do and they just sold the car out from me for a higher price. I did not know it was an auction. I bought the same car for the same price with less miles from CarMax. Overall ot was a better experience all the way around. I will never do business with Carsucks ever again.

I just bought a truck, two days before picking it up the delivery was delayed for a "transportation delay". The delay turns out was Carvana wrecked the vehicle and would only disclose to me "some glass was broken" but refused to prove it with photos or add it to the car fax report. Dishonest trash is my best explanation. They are no different than your local used car lot and if you do business with them you deserve what you get!

The buying process was easy enough but they could not complete my registration in the three month time period they had. I gave them all the information they needed but they were delayed in responding and now have left me for two weeks with out a car I can drive, they are unwilling to pay for a rental car and can't give me a definitive date of when my car will be registered. They are good at taking your money but take no responsibility for their mistakes nor concern for greatly inconvienceing their own costumer.

Sold me a piece of Garbage!
June 21, 2023

Obviously their "inspection" processes are bunk. 3 visits to different repair facilities. All issues continuously caused by bad suspension, badly in need of a tune up, out of alignment, horrible vibrations and shimmy's. Their guard dog Silver Rock doesn't listen at all. I'll never do it again.

Purchased a vehicle, signed all the documents. Get a call 3 hours before delivery of which we had to wait two weeks, they can locate the car!, could be two more weeks for delivery. They refused to refund our $290 delivery fee when we canceled because we already had plans to leave for vacation. This caused us do much mental stress. I would never purchase this way again. I will take them to small claim court to recover our cost if they don't return a delivery fee for a car they did not deliver and expected us to trust that they can get it to us in two more weeks. What a joke

Long on line process trying to buy was rendered useless at the very end because the advertised date of delivery was wrong. They switched it to 3 days later. Then we offered to pick it up, but they wouldn't permit our son to be the one doing the pick up. I'm just saying, prepare to be frustrated.

Bamboozled
June 7, 2023

Car was delivered on 06/23/2022. Drove it only ******* miles and believe the engine seized. Will not turn over. Fluid levels were normal as I checked them after the car broke down. Called Silver Rock and was informed my warranty expired. Didn't receive any notification. Had the extended Carvana care plus good for ******* miles or one year. Only had car 11 months. I live in an isolated area with nearest town 34 miles away. I now have an over ******* dollars still owed and no car. I'm in my upper 60's as is my wife. Have no way to get groceries or go to the doctors. I wish I had never heard of Carvana. I'm going to spread the word all over the internet. I'll be contacting our Attorney general for all the good it will probably do. Have contacted a few lawyers already today as well as the BBB, NHTSA, and will be contacting Hyundai as well. Have no money for repairs or to buy another car as we are on a fixed income and this economy has really hurt us. I now have nothing to do but to try and find help and complain all over the internet. It did feel good to vent although I don't really expect anything to become of it. Guess the next step will be bankruptcy as I see no other way out if I cant find a remedy. Can't stand the fact I still owe over ******* dollars and have no car to drive.
