Legit

Worked great, legit service and followed through with everything. Arrived on time, no problems with the car, and didn't have to deal with the typical haggling that comes with a dealership

RUN!
June 5, 2023

They make buying easy, dont be fooled. They sell the title to Bridgecrest and warranty company and wash their hands of you at that point. Paid my vehicle off, Bridgecrest canceled my online account and after over a week and half they still havent mailed my title. Called Carvana they said there isnt anything they can do. How would you like to be waiting this long for a title?

Please people stay away from this dishonest company! Purchased my car from them three weeks ago and its been delay after delay. Still waiting! They just keep telling me the same BS. Transport problems. Then my last delivery was just cancelled because the car has a flat tire and needs to be fixed. It will take 10 days! WTF! Just Clowns. You will not get your shipping charge back either. Thank god mine was only $190.

Scam!
June 2, 2023

They sold us a 2019 vehicle with 23,000 miles on it. Thankfully, we drove the car to an airport, because the check engine light came on on the 7th day - the day the warranty is up. I called and got a 2 day warranty extension and when I took my car in to the mechanic, he said to return the car immediately, the engine was totally shot and misfiring. Thank god we drove the car as far as we did to the airport or we would have been outside the 7 day windows and stuck with a car that needed a new engine right out of the gate!

I rarely leave reviews but this has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company in general. I got the highest offer to sell my car from Carvana after comparing multiple offers, I decided to go this route. They market themselves as being convenient, but this has been anything but. Sure, they give high offers, but they make it impossible to retrieve. My drop off option was over 2 hours away, so I opted for pick up which cost $100. Figured that $100 was worth my time and hassle. Within 2 weeks, I have been rescheduled THREE times. They have had to extend my offer which dropped by $700 even though the timing was on them. They offered to reimburse my pick up fee, but will not simply waive it. The amount of time and money I have wasted on the phone with them trying to get a pick up scheduled is ridiculous. Their excuse is the same everytime- "they don't have the staff" yet they are sure to tell you about all the ways and third parties they use to follow through with pick ups? Also, if you do not have the staff, why is pick-up an option? Why are there dates and times you offer when you cannot follow through? The first time they rescheduled was 10 minutes AFTER my pick up time. The other times were less than 24hrs. Each time requires the customer to change their schedule, remove plates and belongings from their car, and is a complete inconvenience when it does not happen. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, they tell me it will take over 14 HOURS for them to get back to me. They are leaving their customer service representatives in terrible positions because not even they can get any response from higher ups, or hubs, in a timely manner. I will stray anyone away from carvana immediately. Save your time and money. The few extra thousand is a facade because they essentially force the customer to continue and re-appraise their car due to expired offers because they cannot show up as planned. Wish I could give carvana 0 stars.

Purchased a truck from Carvana. Truck is awesome, Carvana not so much. Customer service is worse than poor and emails are not accurate. Over 5 phone calls later I request a supervisor and was refused to talk to one. Had to pay late fee to DMV because registration process was a total fail on Carvana's part. Samantha (customer service advocate) doesn't even know what the difference is between sales tax and DMV taxes. So rude every time I called. Still no title to truck. Last email said registration complete and plates will be mailed in 5-7 days. I already did registration myself and have had plates for weeks.

They sold us a car with dings in the windshield - and even though we reported it 10 minutes later - they won't take responsibility or help us get it fixed.

Wow - what a scam!

Reset delivery date three times and never was able to deliver. Now they hold my down payment. So after ruining my Memorial Day weekend for their final act, Carvana still has my cash & I have no car.
It is spelled FRAUD.

Upon purchasing and putting the down payment, my vehicle was delayed 3 times. First shipping problems, then were saying something was wrong with the vehicle, still dont know what it was. Finally after a month of waiting for a month it arrived. However wasn't clean, shattered glass all in the trunk and third row.

Time Wasters
May 28, 2023

Bad selling experience. Paid for them to "pick up my vehicle" and scheduled during one of their 3 hour windows about a week ahead of time. The guy showed up an hour late, had me sign 5 documents and said someone else would show up within about an hour to take the vehicle.

Nobody showed up, so I talked to chat support and they told me nobody was available after 5:00 pm to help me. Then I called on the phone and the CS rep said they can't "escalate" anything until it has been 24 hours. I called after 24 hours and they said some local team was unavailable so they will get back to me.

I live in a big city where parking is expensive, I'm not Carvana's free parking ticket and I'm not hanging around all day hoping one of you probably calls when you're 5 minutes away to get a vehicle parked in an underground garage that is valet only. Why exactly did I pay you money for this "vehicle pick-up" and schedule a time.

If I could give a zero rating to this company I would. They are nothing but a scam. They have spent weeks jerking us around, canceling multiple appointments to pick up the car. Then we drive a 3-hour round trip to drop off the vehicle with them and they won't take it. They say that the paperwork we have to sell the car is not legal. It is the title of the car and the heir form giving us the right to sell the car, as provided to us by the department of transportation. Mind you they had every bit of paperwork and knew the situation from the start and never mentioned anything about there being a problem. The day before the appointment when I was on the phone with them and told them again my mother was deceased, they never mentioned anything. So now they have all of our personal information, copies of our driver's licenses, banking information, copies of the title, etc.,and all they are is the big scam. You could never get a straight answer out of anyone, if you can even get anybody by phone. The wait time for phone calls is extraordinarily long and then you're lucky if you can get someone who understands English. This whole company is a joke and do yourself a favor and steer clear.

After purchasing dozens of new and used vehicles in my life Carvana is the worst online or brick and morter retailer I've ever seen. Last minute canceled delivery, misrepresentation of transaction terms, improper filing of state license information the list goes on. They had my 42,000 dollars so not much I can do except try to warn others this us a pathetic company with nonexistent customer service. STAY AWAY!

Buyers Beware
May 17, 2023

I purchased a 2015 Mercedes E350 with ******* miles on May 6th. Picked the car up at Frisco location at 3.40. Then driving home the transmission completely went out, now I have had the car just about an hour. I called Carvana and they said that's why they have 7 day return policy. I said I will go elsewhere and that I would be back in 45 minutes to get my trade in. The advocate said I could not have my trade back. Now bear in mind they have 100 point inspection, what a joke. The advocate said sorry we can't catch them all. So I picked another car only to find out the pictures were incorrect. So I take the advocate out to show him all 4 rims damaged. The headliner on in side had hair grease all over it. The bumper was damaged, none of this under imperfections on website. The advocate answer you don't have to take it. Just pick another car. It is a real crap shoot on if you get a good vehicle or not. Always take to dealer for inspection.

Carvana offered me $******* which is 1000 more than other buyers were for my 10 year old SUV. Carvana Came to the house and the assessor saw hairline scratch and said initial offer has to be reassessed. We will come by again in two days. I said I took the day off and let's reassess it today. He then artached a computer chip adapter to my car and says that the mileage cannot be verified. I said well it hasn't been tampered with. It's an electronic gauge. The supervisors needed to be contacted to realize that a 10 year old car mileage cannot be verified by this chip. Within five minutes all of the dash light indicators, light up, i.e., cruise control, ABS, check engine, and skid control. I said what is this?I've never seen this before. He goes well there's a problem and we can now offer you only $7000. My reply was thank you, and you can leave, but not before you remove all the faulty indicators from the dashboard. He was unable to remove them and I said I will never be able to sell the car with all these "idiot lights" that are on now that were not there before. He struggled for an hour trying to reverse the process called his supervisor who was unable to help. He said he'll come by in two days to pick up the car at $7000. Within 10 minutes Carvana posted my car at $7000 so all future buyers who look up this car or Vin number sees that it's gone from 12,000 to 7000. Carvana is going bankrupt and is having legal issues in multiple states and now I understand why. Avoid Carvana at all costs.

I liked the experience dealing with Carvana. I received a better trade in for my car than anywhere else. The only complaint was that they are so busy that it took over a week to deliver the car. The price for delivery was much higher than having the car sent by carrier. The paper work is all done online and very complete. All is needed is insurance card and license. I will buy again from them...
