Like others I placed an order on Cyber Monday, but I've yet to receive anything. In fact "Lasership," the delivery service, claimed that they delivered to my back door on the 13th. I have not received anything. I also have cameras around my property that can confirm this. I've contacted Carter's and Lasership multiple times, but have yet to hear back. They've essentially stolen my money. This is the second time Carter's couldn't get it right. Last time back in May they took money off my gift card, but I never received a confirmation email and/or delivery. I ended up talking to someone above the regular customer service and they resolved the issue but at that point many of the items I ordered were out of stock.
I'm filing a dispute with the current charges, and it's highly unlikely I'll be purchasing from them again. For being one of the largest suppliers of baby and kids clothes, what a terribly operated company it is.
I ordered several items for cyber Monday! I have not recieved the items and THE status is delivered at 10:30am@ front door, but the tracking keep giving estimated dates being the day prior. This was my first time ordering online. I normally go to the outlet store. Do not lose money like I did! I have to report this to my bank now smh
I ordered ship to store on 12/4/19 and still don't have my order. I called customer service and supposedly had a place in line for a callback... that was 4 days ago. I also emailed customer service, still no reply. So I resorted to driving to the store in Seabrook and was treated rudely, like this was my fault and how dare I be upset. I was told that my order would be in the store the next day by closing. AND here we are 2 days later, it hasn't arrived. Today I was told that they would not receive any shipments until Friday
Wonder what the excuse will be on Friday?

I requested gift receipts with my order of 3 items. One of the items I wasn't in the package so I had to go online and report the missing item. Even though they ask for your order number and I described the item they still asked me to send another message with the item number- which is on the invoice which they can see, so just making the customer do their job. Never got my gift receipts. Requested again and they just sent me a pdf of my invoice. How hard is it to understand that someone needs a gift receipt? I am about ready to return everything and just buy somewhere else for my nieces and nephews for xmas. I like the design and quality of their items but their website and customer service are ridiculous. I should be able to print gift receipts from my account orders page like you can at Target etc. but it isn't an option. I have wasted a lot of time going back and forth for three items and gift receipts. Never again.
Ordered a handful of items online on 11/29/19. It totaled about $110. They stated my items would have to be shipped separately, which is fine. I received my cheaper items, but my most expensive item was a play gym ($60) and it never came. Carter's says it was shipped on 12/7/19, it is now 12/17/19 and FedEx has stated they never even received the package. I've called multiple times (hold is over an hour long), emailed multiple times, and gotten no response. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and just wanted to save some money for my baby coming soon. All they've done is taken my money and caused me stress and don't even have the nerve to respond. I suggest that if you don't get your item, don't bother with customer service. Just go straight to disputing the charge.
I ordered some things on 12/3/2019 to have it shipped to store for pick up. I have yet to receive anything. I can see that the order hasn't even been sent. I have tried reaching out and nothing. They took our money and left. Never will I buy anything again.
I order 4 small items on 12/3/19 its been more the 2 weeks and still in process, why are they taking so long?. I contact costumer services and i haven't heard from them at all.
If carter doesn't have the items why are they advertising it!
The WORST customer service. I tried 4 times yesterday and then after waiting 45 min for each call they clicked me off. Never even had opportunity to say hello. Plugged phone into charger this morning at 10:00 and accepted the offer to leave phone number and not loose my place in line. I accepted this offer from 3 different phone lines. Never received a call back and it's now 8:00 pm... currently on hold again and it's cut me off 3 times. I'm having trouble with my cart. The local store said sorry we can't help with that problem. Carters should be ashamed to offer sales and then not have staffing or trained staff that can handle their customers. I will write another review should I receive a response to this review. Carters should respond to me otherwise why have a forum for reviews if they are not willing to hear complaints and improve. I'll keep you posted..
Place order Black Friday it is 12/15/19 and my order is still processing. If there is a store near you or close it's worth the drive because this is ridiculous.
I ordered from online Carters and my package has yet to be delivered. Carters used to use FedX and USPS and I would always receive my package within a week. They clearly have changed the delivery company to some Lasership who is absolutely awful. I ordered on 12/1/19 and who knows where it is. They tried to email me a "make it right sorry about your delay" but it was the typical 25% off your order and free shipping, well I always spend over $50.00 and get free shipping anyways and always get a 25% off coupon in the mail so it was a bunch of bull. Good luck ever reaching anyone at customer service too. For a company that I have spent thousands on in the past 5 years this is absolutely awful and I will look elsewhere from now on.
I placed an order on 12/2/19. I did not hear anything for 8 days. So I wrote to customer service. Almost immediately after my complaint I received an email stating my order has shipped. Yesterday Fedex says it is in Loda, IL. Today it says it is Berlin, WI, it has traveled PAST me and will not arrive until Monday 12/16/19 TWO WEEKS after I ordered it and two days after my family's Christmas. I will not be empty handed at Christmas. When I sent an email to complain again they said "We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for shopping with Carters." it contained a 25% of coupon code and a code for free shipping on my next order. How does order more help me with THIS order? Why is it taking TWO WEEKS to receive my order and why is nothing happening unless I complain?
From what it looks like, everyone is having the same problem with Carter's. I placed an order on 11/30/19 and it was cancelled 12/12/19... I just spoke with customer service today 12/12/19 and they said it will arrive by the 12/16/19. On hour later, i received an email stating "items has been cancelled per your request. I never called to cancel this order, never again will I shop online with Carter's. There shipping is the worst I ever experience.
I placed an order on 12/8/19. Its 12/12/19 and it still has not shipped. I called customer service yesterday only to be told to wait until friday the 13th to see if it ships. I have been on hold for 35 minutes now and I am furious. The site says normal shipping should be 8-10 buisness days, at this point my items wont arrive on time for Christmas. Had I known this, I would have picked up in the store.
I purchased 2 items online on December the 3rd. On the same day, I received a confirmation to pick up one of the items at Carters' local store (1864 Catawba Valley Blvd Hickory, NC 28*******420).
However, It's been already 8 days and I didn't receive any update from the missing item. I called the *******117 at least 10 times and just now received a call back that last 5 seconds. My impression was that someone hanged up the phone call on me and closed the request.
I went to the store on the 10th of December and none of the assistants have a clue about my missing item.
I am traveling overseas on Saturday, December the 14th and on top of that, I am moving to a different state when I come back and I need to have an update from Carter. Where is my order, please? I even tried to track the order over the phone and it was said: they can't find the Order Number: JCAR*******
That is very poor customer service and I am extremely disappointed with how such a big and renowned company is handling this situation.
I am looking forward to hearing from Carters with a solution, please.

I ordered from Carter's and Skip Hop twice now. It has taken well over a week to even process the order! It took a total of 3 weeks before I got my first order and the second order still hasn't come! I've called customer service three times and never gotten a call back! I've emailed and never received a response! Worst customer service I've ever experienced!
On Wed. Dec. 4 I shopped at the Kittery Maine Carter's spending. $70.80. On Sunday Dec. 8 I went into my bank statement and realized Carters took out the $70.80 eight times. I called the store In Kittery and was told they had a problem with the pin pad and I should call customer service. Really? You charged me eight times, why can't you credit me seven times? There are so many things wrong with this. They never contacted me to tell me there was an issue, they have tied up my $500 for eight days and now they are telling me the can not credit my debit card immediately. On Wed. Dec 10 I spoke to a customer service rep who told me it would back in my account by end of day. That did not happen. I will definitely not be shopping at Carters in the future.
I PLACED MY ORDER ON 12/3 AND ITS NOW 12/10 AND MY ORDER IS STILL PROCESSING! EVERY TIME IVE CALLED THE WAIT TIME WAS OVER AN HR. WHEN I FINALLY DID REACH SOMEONE SHE TOLD ME SHE COULDN'T CANCEL MY ORDER B/C OF THE WINDOW TIME WHICH I TOLD HER WAS BS BECAUSE OF WHAT THEIR WEBSITE STATES. SHE TOLD ME MY ORDER WOULD SHIP ON 12/11 AND WHEN I ASKED HER IF SHE COULD GURANTEE THAT, SHE COULDN'T, BUT CONTINUED TO TELL ME THAT'S WHAT THE WEBSITE SAYS. IF I DON'T GET CANCELLATION EMAIL TOMORROW, IM CALLING MY BANK. IM FURIOUS AND WILL NEVER SHOP ONLINE AGAIN WITH THEM.
Will never order from them again! Order placed 12/4/2019. It is now 12/10/2019 and it is still processing!
Ordered on December 1. On December 7, I received an email saying there was a delay in shipping, but it would be shipped "soon". I decided to cancel the order, as the items were meant to be gifts to be given on the 8th. Only way to do so is to call. Tried to do so, but hold time was too long. So, I emailed them. Took them 3 days to reply, and since the items shipped yesterday, it's impossible for them to cancel the order. The now-useless order is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. This was my first experience with this company. It will be my last!
I placed an order two weeks ago and received an email it would arrive today. Package states it is still in GA. I have never experienced this before, this is just the worst. Never ordering from this store online again.

Answer: I have found better online. Sometimes just 2.99 for shirt, shorts or pj. I always buy off season and get Hugh discounts. The only problem is variety but I'm not picky. I just buy what I like and check again later. Good luck
