I placed an order on 4/13 and they immediately took my money before they shipped my package a week and a half later. Now my package has recently shipped and not expected to arrive until MAY 6TH. 1 week shy of a full month? What a joke. My son will probably have outgrown the clothes by then. Also, the customer service rep I spoke to, whose English was hardly recognizable, was unapologetic, monotoned, and of zero help whatsoever. And to top it off, they use FedEx smart post, which essentially takes as much time as they can to deliver your package to cut down on shipping costs to literally save pennies worth instead of using Ground or Priority. I wont hold my breath on the delivery date (as it's already changed twice). First and last time ordering from Carters online. This was the worst experience I've ever had ordering online. I wish I could cancel/return said items, but that's another nightmare in itself. They simply dont care about their customers or you getting your items in a timely fashion. Atrocious business practice.
I am only giving 1 star because negative 20 is not an option on here. Wishing I would have read reviews on them before ordering. Ordered almost 2 weeks ago... charged my paypal immediately and they still have not shipped my order. I ordered things for my grandchildren's birthdays 2 weeks early and still not shipped! You call and email and get a 30 min wait time or they will call you back... ha! That doesn't happen. Instead you get a generic "covid" excuse for delay. Apparently, after reading just a few reviews this is how they operate ALL the time! Sorriest customer service ever! First and LAST time to order anything from these rip offs! Disputing my paypal since reading reviews where people cannot get refunds! Ridiculous!
My first experience with Carter's online I received a confirmation email for my order and after 3 weeks I hadn't received my items. I called customer service and they told me the order had been lost. My second experience with Carter's online they changed my shipping address from the address I typed in to the address on my in store account. I no longer live at that address so I called customer service to ask if they could change where they ship it or cancel the order. They couldn't help even though the item had not shipped yet. The items finally arrived 2.5 weeks after I had ordered them. In the mean time I placed another order to be delivered to the correct address and it took 3 weeks before I received it. I know that shipping is delayed due to Coronavirus but 3 weeks is a little outrageous especially for baby clothes because half the time they grow out of a size in 3 weeks. Very disappointed in Carter's website. I have always had a good experience in the brick and mortar stores.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE RIDICULOUS DELIVERY DELAY UNTIL I REACHED OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT 8-15 DAYS FOR THE ORDER TO ARRIVE AND I WAITED UNTIL THE END OF YHAT MARK. STILL NOTHING. IT TOOK NEARLY 3 WEEKS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TELL ME THEY WOULD SHIP IT OUT ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AND THAT WAS AFTER I REACHED OUT ABOUT 3X. THEY THEN TOLD ME AGAIN TO WAIT ANOTHER 8-15 DAYS FOR DELIVERY. THEY ALSO TOLD ME I COULD NO LONGER CANCEL DUE TO A WINDOW OF 24 HOURS TO CANCEL EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK MORE THAN A DAY FOR A RESPONSE... THIS COMPANY IS NOT HONEST ABOUT PROCESSING AND DELIVERY AND REFUSES TO REFUND YOU. DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRICKS!
Had I read these reviews I never would have ordered. Placed an order, they took my money $111 about a week after. It is now day 10 and they haven't shipped my order but had no problem taking my money. It's a poor practice to take people's money before you ship the product. I have a baby on the way and ZERO outfits for it due to store closures. Had I known it would take this long I would choose to do my business elsewhere. I invested all my money here for newborn clothes and have none.

I will never shop at Carters again nor will I allow my family! I was double charged for my order and have yet to receive my money back! That's $200.22 they took! No one answers the phones or responds to emails I've been calling and sending last few days!

Be forewarned that Carters only offers store credit. In this day and age where customer service is King, Carters sticks it to its customers by NOT offering a refund. I wanted to return a tagged, new itemmy son received for his birthday and was REFUSED a refund! The associate could not mask her delight at giving me store credit. Now my son cannot get the brand bame shirt hw did want. NOT a nice surprise. Guess what store I'll boycott from now on? What an archaic policy and a way to repel customers. Good luck with that policy Carters!
I ordered items twenty days ago that still haven't shipped. Carter's needs to get it together to play in the delivery game. This is unacceptable, and I will NEVER order from Carter's or Oshkosh again.
I have order for my niece and nephew there r 5 of them I order for all of them...
I place item in order next day they r saying 1 size is not there so I called them and instead send me 1size smaller but they want me to make new order and pay extra shipping for 1 item. Really disappointed...
I always love the way carters clothing is on my baby. Super comfortable, and durable material. However, save yourself the trouble and just go right to the store. I ordered clothing for christmas, and I hoped it would arrive early since I placed the order in advance... It took over 10 days to ship. All in all that wasn't the best experience. When I called they assured me I would get a coupon for inconvience (a whopping 25% off which was already an available promotion) I ordered during the time of "double fun cash". I assumed that if I spent over 50$ I would have $$ to use. WRONG. The fun cash is a coupon, so if you spend 25$ then you get $10 off. Big rip off... ANYWAY be careful when ordering from carters website, and don't bother with the fun cash! Totally misleading.
This organization has the worst customer service I have seen from a business. And they don't care one way or the other! I placed an order online because one of the things I wanted was not in the store, the other item was there in the store but since the other one wasn't I ordered them together online. IT states you can pick up in the store in 3 to 7 days. I received the one item that wasn't in the store in about 6 days and it was mailed to my house. I was surprised because I had indicated I would pickup in the store. The other item however didn't arrive. I checked several times with them and the said something about still needing to process it... IT WAS IN THE STORE! I was told okay tomorrow, then tomorrow came and it was again tomorrow. After a week I just cancelled the order and they were like sure well let the store know. They weren't concerned about the bad service at all! I will never shop there again!
Carters rips up unused items and throws them in the garbage INSTEAD OF DONATING NEVER buying from you guys again it's f*** pathetic practice. Pathetic

You honestly live with your self knowing there's so many children that go with out and you guys just sit there and cut up baby clothes and throw them away so they can't be used.
Just like all the other reviews I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ONLINE AGAIN! The delivery time keeps changing. I went to Costco (bought Carters brand clothes) and mailed the clothes I bought there faster than ordering a week earlier on the website! If consumers quit ordering online maybe Carters will attempt to fix the problem!
Clothes were fine -once they FINALLY arrived AFTER Christmas! Ordered weeks before and were supposed to arrive by 12/20. Called and never got a call back as promised. Called again and held 2 hours! Will not buy online from them again. Very disappointed.
Like others on here, my order got lost (going from Georgia to Tennessee, it dropped off tracking for 5 days and then appeared in California). Carter's was not helpful when I spoke to them, and my order is now not scheduled to arrive until 14 days after the original delivery date given to me, thus resulting in a miss of Christmas with absolutely no warning or contact when the delivery date was missed.
Like a lot of other people who have written reviews, my order never made it to me for Christmas. It was supposed to be delivered by December 17th. Lasership customer service people are incredibly rude and not helpful. It appears that they 'receive' the package and mark it as undeliverable a minute later (multiple times). They blamed Carter's saying that they needed a different address. Carter's had met mobile number but I never heard that from them.
I contacted Carter's and they had to be told 3 times that I wanted the order shipped to my physical address. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I have done business with Carter's previously and was always very satisfied. They need to get rid of that bargain basement shipping company and improve their own service.
I placed my order on 12/09 online, and it was processed on 12/10. I called on Friday 12/20 and was told my order was to be delivered to the store on 12/23 for pick up. I call the store today, 12/23, they tell me nothing is in, and orders placed after cyber Monday will arrive AFTER 12/27. I have a huge issue with this, because if the site promises delivery within 3-7 business days, STICK TO IT OR NOTIFY SOMEONE! That simple. If they notified me, it would give me the option to wait or not. Now, I am stuck on hold, waiting for someone to cancel my order that has been in transit for 8 days, and my daughter has no new clothes for Christmas. If I knew this before, I would have never placed the order, OR if I knew sooner, it would have allowed me the option to either wait, or cancel and go somewhere else. To say I am upset with their lack of communication to the customer with ( CORRECT) information, is an understatement. I will NEVER ever in my life time, order from them online.
I placed my order on 12/8. I finally just got an email yesterday saying my package would be delivered by 12/24. I thought thank goodness at least it will be there for Christmas. It's my nephew's first Christmas and I did not want his present to be late. This morning I got an email from FedEx saying that my delivery date would be 12/27. This is absolutely unacceptable. It looks like everybody's having the same exact problem.
I placed an order with Carters on 12/7/19. It is now 12/20/19 and I still do not have my order. Supposedly it should get here today. However, that has been two weeks. Don't order anything you actually need anytime soon. You won't receive it in time. Had ordered some cute Christmas outfits for my daughter to wear for school and two events and I haven't received a single one. Then they keep reminding you of all their deals. Doesn't mean much if you never receive the shipment.

Answer: I have found better online. Sometimes just 2.99 for shirt, shorts or pj. I always buy off season and get Hugh discounts. The only problem is variety but I'm not picky. I just buy what I like and check again later. Good luck
