I worked at the carters in williston Vermont. The place was run by an incredibly rude women who will never follow your availability, demand you work more then you agreed on in the interview, wont let you have water on the sales floor, questions your health even when you tell her you have medical issues, talks smack about you and makes it very clear you wont have friends. It was horrible.
Web site does not accept payment on the date it is sent. Finding payment web site is not user friendly, and when login is unsucessful it sends you to another web site. Late fee is high should payment be late. Entering payment on web site on due date, the site will not accept payment until the next day. Then they charge an additional late fee the next month. For example I entered my late fee on web site and it would not take it that day, and next month they charged an additional late fee. A total of $69 in late fees for a $131 purchase.
Phone support is not helpful either.
The site is not user friendly and they are always have some issue with the order you place and have to contact the customer service to get it resolved and most of the time they are not able to resolved the issue.
Bought $200 in baby clothes for my 6 month old baby, for her to have stuff to wear for the next 6-8 months. The package was lost, I never received it. Since the tracking shows as delivered to a 3rd party shipper (who never got it), they wont reimburse or replace my purchased items. They suggested I complain to my bank! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!
I had several questions and asked customer service to clarify them. Customer support doesn't address my queries at all, made many mistakes, was very passive and did not help at all.
Worst looking clothes I've ever seen in my life. The same size is different for each out fit. I hate this brand. One more time someone gives me this brand for my baby I'll flip out. I have problems with all the clothes textures they are horrible. Either thin and scratch or the material that should never be touched. I am so god damn mad. I'll see if my father can return it all over $1k in clothes. I'm so $#*!ing pissed. I hope the creator of these clothes has a horrible death. I can tell you don't care about babies at all. You have to be a horrible person to think this $#*! is okay. I'm sick of this company being so expensive for clothes that are beyond cheaply made. Walmart brand clothes are better.
I bought online and the clothes would arrive in 7 business days.
Carter's texted me on 11/21 saying the clothes would arrive on 11/22, I called customer service on 11/23 and they said the order would arrive on 11/29, it didn't arrive either.
I call again on the 30th and the person who answers tells me that my order has not gone out and that if I want, they will refund my money or process the order again.
Received my Carter's Credit Card at 28.99%. I watch my CC's closely on the percentage interest due to my credit rating. This is unacceptable! This should have never been offered! I will not pay this kind of interest and will shop at our local store to support them instead. Just paid our bill in full and will not use this credit card.
First time ordering from Carters and I will never shop there again. Terrible phone customer service. Unwilling to help. Terrible experience from the get go!
First of all I was waiting for a long time at curbside I'd have to call them to tell them I was waiting outside after you click "I'm here". Second well they make me move to the front door to receive my items after online site said to park in the parking space, I didn't mind after receiving my items I realize I was missing to items since there was a promotional on the jeans I purchased buy 1 get 2 free that was the reason I bought a Jean for $30 and after realizing I'd talk to the manager called "cecy" or "cicy" at north Laredo tx she refused to give them to me so I'd had to get down and return the items I purchase since it was incomplete I'd had to leave my two toddlers in the car just to leave the bag that was very inconvenient worst experience ever never had a problem besides I'm a loyal customer
Terrible customer service. I bought 4 pieces for of winter clothing, all same size, the one my toddler normally wears. I washed them all before wearing, as suggested, to find that one of them is significantly smaller than the others. Carters won't address this and won't exchange the item for a larger size because it has no tags and washed. Beware of their sloppy sizes before you waste your money. Standards
Online order, selected to be sent to a wrong store, called store itself was advised to call customer service. Called CS and was "helped" by a person that clearly isn't a fan of her job. Keeps saying can't do anything about it, sorry can't do anything about it because the package is "sent to be packaged" it's not in transit! It's not even packaged! It's SENT to be packaged, so request to be packaged has been made and she cannot CHANGE store delivery location. Come on! Then placed me on hold to get manager only to come back and say manager is on call, can they call back? Only one manager for entire osh kosh customer service call centre that day (shift) -- i think the clothing is beautiful, every single in store customer service person was amazing and helpful... your telephone customer service person is beyond terrible and I suggest they get retrained on customer service. If they don't wanna work there which sounds like they're bothered to they should look for a different opportunity that suits their personality better.
My grandson never received the $200 gift card I sent. Called and asked them if they would pay the mailing fee to send it with a trackable number, but they don't do that. So they would rather lose a $200 sale and customer, than re-send the gift card with tracking. Will never do business with them again. They don't care at all about customer service
I used to be very happy with Carter's products and service. Now it seems they're going downhills. The store in our area closed. The only way to buy from them now is online and there's no way to see the items and decide if they're good or not for me that way. So 2 of the sets I ordered were synthetic and my daughter is allergic so I need to return them. NO FREE RETURNS. Every other store has free return even by mail, but not Carter's, it's at least $6. I've had things ordered and returned overseas, that cost a lot less, and their shipping cost is a lot cheaper. So now I have to drive to their closest store which takes me over 1 hour. And the only way to contact them on the app is a robot. So much for their So disappointing. It used to be a great brand. Now I guess, no more ordering at Carter's.
I placed an online order for two pairs of gladiator sandals for my granddaughters because the store didn't have their sizes. The shoes arrived within three days. Unfortunately, one pair was too small. So I took them back to the store and ordered in-store a larger pair to be delivered to my home. I literally, just two weeks prior needed to exchange two pair of shoes that were too big for smaller sizes. That transaction went perfectly. Unfortunately, that WAS NOT the case the second time around by no stretch of the imagination! I had to repeatedly call to find out where the shoes were because I never got an email with shipping OR tracking information. However, I did get the run around each time I called for information! Finally after fifth call I received an email with the tracking number I asked for four days prior! It said the shoes will be delivered today... June 7. We shall see. Order placed in-store May 31.
This company is an absolute piss take i ordered and payed for a pair of shoes in January 2022 result. Promises of delivery dates not honoured and it is now June 2022 and no further contact from them. Treat them like the plague. Brian.
I revived multiple emails on the entire store and online order are 50% off summer sale! Went into the store and they did not honour the email and discount. So does that is truly disappointing. I will leave this review as a truly upset customer. I hope no one else is as upset as me. As it is a waste of time.
Feb 26th ordered shoes. Confirmation email.
Nothing until i sent email in April asking for an update. Received email stating they had been delivered. Emailed asking for PoD, nothing since. Scammers and shisters. DO NOT USE.
I ordered clothes from online to be delivered to the house, a little later I got an email saying that order was canceled due to a pricing error on the site to have a follow up email saying that everyone must like what I ordered and it was all sold out?! All four of the items they canceled? They however did end up sending me a pajama set that I got just for the free shipping. I will be returning them when they are delivered. I am also still waiting for my reimbursement payment for the other items that were either missed priced or sold out. Please note in pictures of times and dates emails were sent.

Answer: I have found better online. Sometimes just 2.99 for shirt, shorts or pj. I always buy off season and get Hugh discounts. The only problem is variety but I'm not picky. I just buy what I like and check again later. Good luck
