COVID 19 EMPLOYEE

MY DAUGHTER HAS TESTED POSTIVIE FOR COVID 19 AND THEY WONT PAY HER. THEY WOULD RATHER THEIR EMPLOYEES COME TO WORK AND SPREAD THE VIRIUS THAN TO STAY HOME. THIS IS CRAP THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER.

Items Never Showed UP

I bought things on black Friday and here we are two almost three weeks later and nothing. I have emailed and the only solution that was offered that either they refund my money or send what items I purchased that I have in stock. I replied with send what you can and I will figure the rest out and nothing. I have no clue if my items are coming or not. I have tried calling and sat on hold for 30 plus minutes before giving up and hanging up. I am extremely disappointed as this was a Christmas gift for my daughter. Now I am scrambling to figure what else I can do with my limited budget.

I ordered 12 items during their "Black Friday Sale". My order was placed on November 27th. I had received a shipment notification on December 5th, which stated the items were ready for shipment (basically, they printed the shipment labels). December 14th and nothing has arrived. I understand that mail may be slow due to the pandemic and being the holiday season. Though, I have recently ordered from places such as JCPenny and other retail stores and have not experienced issues with shipment or lost/unavailable items. I attempted to contact customer service (which is a huge joke). I waited on hold for over an hour. When I did get a hold of someone they said that my order was "lost" and they would send what items were still available and refund me what I wouldn't be receiving, which is 2 of the 12 items. When I went to the actual site, ALL of the 10 "unavailable" items were still available for purchase (size and colors that I had originally purchased) but not at the 50-70 percent off "black Friday" prices. This was my first experience with Carter's and it will be my last!

SO BAD company and stupid material I got some stuff for my kids and all get smaller when I washed them I just paid money for nothing and stupid stuff now I've to buy some more clothes for my kids because now all I bought is too small they just wear them one time

I recently ordered my grandson an outfit consisting of two separate items. It took more than a week to ship and by that time I received notice that one item had sold out. Needless to say the one was no good without the other. Not going to order from them again.

I made the mistake of ordering from Carter's online. I like their products and will purchase from their in-person store and NEVER again online. They use Laser Ship for their deliveries (google them, they are TERRIBLE) - which is like the cheapest of outsourced delivery services. The last shipping update I got was that it was picked up and had made it to Ohio and delivery was expected on 11/24... and then nothing. No updates. I finally emailed Carter's customer service and Laser Ship's customer service on 12/2.

Carter's responded 12/3 and said: "We have located your order and our records indicate that your order has been deemed lost in transit by Laser Ship. At this time, could you advise on whether you would like for us to re-ship or refund your order?" Most of the items I ordered are now no longer available online and I'm now trying to cancel and have so far been unsuccessful.

Laser Ship also wrote back saying: "Unfortunately, Lasership is unable to confirm control of your package at this time. Due to the unconfirmed status, please contact your Seller for further assistance." So they lost the package, don't care, and are taking no responsibility.

Do not order from Carter's online.

I needed help changing the shipping address on an order. While calling their customer service line, they have a prerecorded message about how many questions they're answering. You can wait for a very long time, and nobody will pick up. I also emailed asking for help. They send a prewritten email back saying they couldn't help. I suspect this is the email everyone receives. I took very quick action on this as soon as I realized my mistake. There was no way to cancel the order or edit the order. The customer is not empowered at all. Once you click "purchase," you will not be able to make any changes to your order or cancel your order.

Unlike many other reviews here, my online shopping experience with Carter's was good.
I got a nice good Friday promotional offer, and the package was shipped in 2 days, and I received it 4 days after placing the order.
I was a little apprehensive after reading many negative reviews, but in the end, everything went smooth.

Return fee

I am super upset at the fact that I have gotten charged for a return fee of 29.00 wh e the whole problem started with the Carter's app, I tried to enter my banking info on the app and it took it and then I get a bill for a different amount so I called Carter's and explained the situation and I paid the whole bill in full, i asked if I would be responsible she said she doesn't know until the next billing cycle well I looked in like and I had a charge of 29.00 for return fee from the 1st time I tried to pay the bill. I talked with Matt the manger and he refused to waive the 29.00 fee that I feel is their fault since the app would not take my Info. I closed my account

Do NOT order from this company, their website NEVER works for returns. You have to sit on hold forever trying to find someone that will help you but then you get transferred to different people. They promise they will call you back but no one ever does. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, unless you want to spend hours of your life trying to do a return. No one you call knows what they are doing and just keep transferring you from person to person

When you have more experience and education than the store manager that is present and they tell you that your qualifications did not fit and then you returned to see all the employees and managers are white it pisses you off because you're more qualified SMH.

I have been waiting on an order for over 2 weeks. When Checking tracking it reports it's in my town but no estimated delivery or ect. Today I received an email stating my order has been refunded. Confused I contacted the company which claimed my order was refused but customer kept item so the order was being refunded. It has not been refunded as of yet. The refused to resend the package claiming it was "lost" and being unable to resend to an address reported as undeliverable. I got a great deal 11 items for 50 dollars with coupons and rewards and now they're telling me that some items are out of stock and would have to be repurchased for $120?!
None of this makes any sense and I'm livid. I no longer get the summer wardrobe for our little and I pray the refund at least comes through soon and the delivery person is investigated and fired for not doing their job!

HORRIBLE just Horrible!

Do not EVER USE THIS ONLINE service for Carter's! I Ordered outfits for the little one's for a family function to take place on a Saturday. Received notifications package was en-route and would be delivered on Thursday... No package as of Friday, called customer service and was informed by associate Nick that the package had been lost in travel and the carrier UPS nor Carter's knows where its at! I was offered a refund for the purchase to my account which was taken out at time of the online purchase but I will have to wait 5-7 business days! What a joke... OR have them to expedite the order in 3 business days... which meant I would receive the package on Wednesday! 4 days AFTER the function... NEVER Again!

Long story short. Got a cc w them. Try order online. Decline decline. Carters tells me everything is ok on their end its a bank issue. Call comenity bank they say its a carters issue. I email them and they have the nerve to email back and say reason its being declined is because I have 2 pending holds. WELL DUH THE PENDING HOLDS ARE FROM MY ORDER BEING DECLINED. They just give the runaround. Im done w them

Horrible business

For some reason, I'm on Carters "review list" and can't order with them anymore, like ever and customer service can't explain to me why this is. I've never heard of such a thing and I've never had negative history with anyone but Apparently I do with Carter's, HA! I hardly have a history at all with Carter's! It's absolutely ridiculous and they've lost my business and my friends and family. I'm glad they're business is doing so well that they can afford to lose business for no apparent reason. I've talked to multiple people at customer service, waiting for calls back and nothing.

Not allowed to buy online

I attempted to make a purchase on March via Carter's online website. Unfortunately, the order was declined. After speaking with one of their representatives, I was to told to check with my bank and call back to escalate the issue. I checked with my bank, who assured me, there was no issue with my card. When I called Carter's, I spoke with a representative person, who responded, that my file and email was under review, and that there was nothing that he could do for me.

Considering this was my first purchase with this company, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an online store. In addition, told me to waiting the store to open due of Covid, and to go to the store with a baby. I filled a complaint and now in September, I still have not seen a resolution. I tried again to buy online and again I was not allowed. Again, I am losing a coupon discount and good prices in the store. This has become an extreme waste of my time. If their aim was to discourage customers from making purchases. They have employed an extremely successful tactic.
