It appears the shop called that the repairs were completed by Monday and that there was some information that was missing on the final invoice, which led to the claim being paid the next day. As a continuous member of different 'motor clubs' for 50 years, timing is everything. When a dispatcher indicates an arrival time, that becomes a highly emotional situation.
It could be 2 hours. Fine. Busy is busy. But many previous experiences had their ETA off by a factor of 50% or more. Meaning late. So at the precise second after their ETA of 2 hours, anxiety will start to set in.
I was fortunate to arrange my Car Shield pickup from my home. 99% of the time it's on the road and starting exactly at 2:00:01, the integrity of the 'motor club' erodes at a fast rate.
So one calls back, only to be placed on the original 'hold' phone system and if lucky, doesn't have to start the whole process from the beginning. But the 'remote' sense of these phone centers also adds anxiety.
So I was very pleased when the Car Shield driver appeared at 00:45:00 as expected.
While the world over embraces 'Apps', and the cost to develop is understood, having more direct communication using texting would be a lot better than being placed on hold.

I was seriously doubtful about Car Shield after paying premium for 2 years but after I filed my claim I was convinced and satisfied with Car Shield I had my wife enrolled back last summer. We are definitely with Car Shield!

Servicem was granted to repair my vehicle. Unfortunately, one week later the sa me problem existed. I notified car shield and was told to contact repair shop. I was unable to reached them and left a message. Still waiting for a response. I am presently without a vehicle

My experience with CarShield has always excellent. Every claim that I had was evaluated and approved up to having a Transmission replaced.
I've received numerous phone calls from subscribers telling me that CaeShield is being sued for impropriety however, CarShield has never failed me.

Terrible- I called CarShield and was informed my Rear Sunshade motor, (the same as a Window motor) was covered). I took my car to a reputable - authorized desler. Once the diagnosis was submitted-CarShield denied the claim, saying since the Motor was humming, it was probably a Good motor. Yeah, sounds about right- Do internal wiring shorts inhibit the motor to lock up? Yes. That means motor is not and cannot be made to function. Best to change out the small Mortor that lifts and brings the shade down into the rest window package tray.

Recently, our escape encountered a transmission issue. Our auto repair facility collaborated with Carsheil to replace the transmission. The Carsheil representative ensured that we were kept in the loop.
I reached out to customer service a few times to rent a car and extend it. Whenever I needed help, the customer service representatives were always friendly and helpful.
