4 week now waiting on the touch up paint. Called everyday and no one answers the phone. Emailed and got a responce to ask for the REG or VIN number. This email came from *******@carpaintrepair.co.uk to say i will refund you. Im still waiting and have sent lots of replies to evelyn but still nothing. I wish i checked the reviews before i ordered. These people are just crooks. Plain and simple. Do not order anything from these people
I only wished I had checked the reviews before buying from this company. I paid for paint that was not required, full return refund was promissed, they do NOT take returns. They simply refuse to answer e mails. How can a company that has the reviews on this site still be trading? As I have just noticed from another review, which I wished I had seen earlier.
Similar experience. Ordered paint had reply email. After a week even though I supplied paint type, they then needed reg and make. I have provided these a number of times. Now resorted to phone calls and still no response.
I sent my reg and was emailed to say paint was on its way. When it didn't come I emailed them to be told they were having trouble determining my paint code. I sent them the paint Code and the name of the colour, and have heard nothing, despite repeated emails and messages left on their answer-phone. They have taken the money from my account and sent me nothing
Received my paint in good time! However it was the wrong shade tried to contact them by phone left a message tried to email and as of yet no reply will contact trading standards
They do not even deserve 1 star. Complete fraudsters. Ordered paint which has never arrived and no replies to my numerous phone calls and emails. DONT USE THIS WEBSITE.
Ordered on car registration number, took about ten days to arrive. Good match and did a small touch up today, very pleased with the result.
I had the same trouble as many other people re carpaintrepair.co.uk i. E. sent the wrong paint; wouldnt answer emails; only an ansafone. So I got in touch with the local Trading Standards as follows:- West Lothian Council, Environmental Health and Trading Standards, Civic Centre, Howden South Road, Livingston, West Lothian EH54 6FF Tel ******* ******* Fax ******* *******. They got hold of the company and got me a refund.
Carpaintrepair.co.uk are clearly operating a low level scam/fraud and get away with it as the sums involved are individually very small but large enough in total to fund Florida holidays on a regular basis - they must be laughing their way to the bank off the back of the hundreds of customers they have scammed. Now and again they seem to fulfil an order correctly just to confuse the issue. Without going into detail, having chased them they asked for a colour code and then sent me some red paint for my black car.
Placed an order on 28/5/15 with Carpaintrepairs for a touch up kit for a Citroen C4 providing just the registration number. Then read all the bad reviews. However to be fair, "lo and behold" I have today (5/6/15) received the kit with the correct colour.

This business is an absolute disgrace & should be forced to shut down as all they are interested in is taking your money & either not sending you anything at all or sending you entirely the wrong colour of paint for your car! They do not respond to emails nor do they return your calls. I have reported them to Trading Standards & will be interested to see what happens. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ON THIS COWBOY OPERATION
I see a lot of negative reviews of this company, but although i had to wait a little longer than expected, the quality of the paint is good, and comes with a lacquer touch up top coat, and a guide.the company emailed and made an apology and a note to say they had been on holiday and there was a bit of a back-log, so hey ho they may have delivery issues but i think it was worth the wait considering the amount you get in those crappy touch up pens from halfords. Maybe a little more communication from the company would go a long way. Hence my 4 star score.
I ordered paint for my car on 2nd April, they took the money out of my account on the 7th April I'm still waiting for the paint, I have e mailed several times with no reply and get answer machine when I phone, no one has answered the messages I have left. I have had to go to the bank to try and get my money back. This firm must be a scam I wish I had read the reviews before ordering
I feel really unlucky to have chosen this website out of the many present on internet. It's been 3 weeks now since I paid and still nothing, can't get through to anyone by phone and e-mails don't get responded to! I doubt if they even have paint to sell!
Paid, sent registration number. About a week and one confirmation email later it arrived. Paint code is correct too although I haven't tried it yet.
I ordered paint for my wifes car and the wrong colour arrived. I then phoned on several occasions to get the the same message, to send an email which I have done now three times over ten days, without any reply. So much for their twenty four hour promise. I have now gone back to my credit card company to try and reclaim my payment.

Appalling! I should have read the reviews before ordering paint from them. They were fairly quick to send an email claiming the paint was on its way, BUT IT WASNT. After a while a further email saying they couldn't find the paint colour from my Reg - so why do they claim they can do this? I had to email them the paint code and the name of the colour. I am still waiting, 5 weeks after the initial order for some sort of response.
Dont waste your time,
They take your money straigh away, dont deliver the goods, make excuses, never there to answer the phone. Say they are going to refund, but I have not been refunded as I type.
I have had to contact my c/card company to make a claim againt them to get my money back. I HAVE GIVEN A ONE STAR RATING ONLY BECAUSE A MINUS 5 IS NOT POSSIBLE.
NOT WORTH IT BELIEVE ME. THERE ARE PROPER COMPANIES OUT THERE, USE THEM
In common with most respondents I have waited an age emailed, phoned and then lo! Got the paint this morning, oh wrong colour my car is grey not bright blue, shook the container for a few minutes to make sure, no all wrong, mind it does smell funny, took it to my mate, a car sprayer and he says it's isocyanate and is banned and extremely flammable too.
Daren't tell the postman that.
Told citizens advice about it though
Suggest others do too.
