Purchased - V-Tech Black Window Louver Cover for my mustang on 1/1/2015 estimated ship date was 1/5/15. I still have yet to recive it. So I called on 1/12/15 yo figure out what was going on and I was happy when get said it will be shipped that day. Was waiting for the email with the tracking number and I never revived one! So I called today 1/13/15 and what do you know! They claim the manufactures have not sent it out yet and the estimated shipping date was changed "again" and they will be shipped out on 1/13/15! This sucks I will never again order from carID again! Poor coustomer service! Poor communication! I want my money back so bad but looking at these other reviews it looks like I should ride it out! But never again will I buy from here! Save your money and pay the exstra money and go to a legitemate online car store because this is a joke!
I purchased calibers for my boyfriend for Christmas. Unfortunately, they did not fit his car. After reading the reviews on here, I was very nervous I would have issues with obtaining a refund. WELL -- CariD.com not only forwarded the return information on a quick turnaround, I also received a FULL refund within a reasonable amount of time. AND, I would like to note that I returned the calibers during the holidays, AND still received excellent customer service. Thanks CariD.
Well first thing I ordered my headlights for my car in November 2014. A Christmas present and the website said in stock, but a few days later I get an email stating estimated ship date is January 5,2015. No explanation of why because according to the website they were still in stock! Then it was changed to 1/7/15 and I tried ordering a different pair same style different price. They too had the same in stock availability but could not be shipped any time soon. Well 1/7/15 came and went no change in order status. So I once again tried to contact the customer service reps to ask about my order. The only way I got a live person was by choosing the sales option on their automated line. The guy was nice and cheerful until I told him I wanted to cancel my order. He placed me on hold for at least15 minutes, but I got my order canceled but no word or confirmation on when and if I will get my money back! Save your money and time and skip these jerks at carid.com
I order a set of rims & locking lugs with the help of a Rep. For my truck. When the rims arrived they didn't fit my truck! At the time my truck was getting a lift kit installed by Rick's Pro Truck. Rick's Pro Truck couldn't remove my truck from his hydraulic lift till the CARID rims arrived. I called CARID and reported the problem and ask them to overnight the rims. I was told there wasn't enough profit in the rims to spend the money to ship them overnight. After many phone calls and tell this joke of a company how bad of a bind they had me and Rick's Pro Truck in, I got the rims 3 weeks later. They did not do anything out of their way the fix the problem. This company just wants profits and does not care about the customer even if they messed up the order. I will never do business with this company again and I hope this site helps put them out of business. By the way, they also sent the wrong locking lug nuts. CARID IS THE MOST IMCOMPETENT PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. You been warned!
I order Running Boards Side Steps for 522.50 USD. My experience with carid customer service was terrible, their so call est wait time was 8 min when I called. It been 68 min into the call. I have yet to even hear one of their employees voice. I tried this process for 5 days now. Not to mention I place my order on the 28th of December 2014, their suppose est ship date was January 1st. Until this very day I still have yet to received any information on my order. If you are expecting good service and excellent quality experience. Carid is not your store. They are terrible in every aspect, except for their organized website. If I could give a zero star rating I would.
Ordered window visors jan 4th got told that because we have different addresses that it's a possibility that the card is stolen. Called carid to figure it out turns out they never shipped my order at all been waiting a week as it is and still no progress. Don't bother trying to save a few bucks cause it won't happen with CARID
Ordered four struts for my car. All arrived as expected. One strut was defective, as the strut mount wasn't connected correctly. I removed the defective strut, reinstalled the old one and called CarID to begin the return process. The technician I dealt with JosephMA was argumentative, defensive and only "allowed" a return after I escalated the situation. Never, ever buy from this company. Their return policy promises 100% satisfaction, but they don't deliver.
Ordered Brake Caliper Covers for my car, Originally it was suppose to be for a Christmas present for 2013. The order was late first of all, and the covers were not the right cover at all. It took three tries before I got the right covers. After many emails and phone calls and alot of time spent, I actually got them to give me credit to use on the website on my next purchase. This is where it gets good, I go to the website off and on browsing at things I might want to purchase, I try to log into my account and it will not let me. I then try to recover my password and it does not recognize my email address, the very same one that I used to order and complain about the last order. I have called no answer it just tells me they will call back, I have sent five emails explaining my issue. They just dropped me like a bad habit. This is the worst online shopping and the worst communication i Have ever had!

A website full of cheap Chinese crap. Said it was an exact fit - it was not! I bought 2 items, both ended up in the landfill. They blamed my ASE certified mechanic for improper installation.
Do not buy this product, 4 months and one bulb burns out, factory lights are brighter, they cast an annoying shadow on the horizon from low beams. Customer service is the worst, say they will get back to me. 2 months later nothing yet.

Iron Cross Endeavor running boards were awesome and manufacturer (Iron Cross) provided EXCELENT customer service. CARiD completely failed in post-sales support.
During installation, I noticed a small plastic piece was broken. The CSR at CARiD first blamed me for not making a claim against UPS (not a shipping issue), and then blamed me for trying to install part (didn't notice it was broken until I was trying to install). After wasting my time with CARiD's customer service, I notified manufacturer who IMMEDIATELY responded that part will be shipped to me. That's all CARiD had to do - contact manufacturer like I did.
Took 3 emails and almost a week before the CSR at CARiD even asked about the problem and asked for pictures. By then, I had already resolved it myself through Iron Cross' excellent customer service. Why wasn't the first response from CARiD something like "Please send pictures so we understand the problem, and then we'll work with the manufacturer to help resolve it"? Rather, he took the easy way out by trying to blame me and UPS.
Such a simple problem to solve... and CARiD did NOTHING to help.

I am frustrated and saddened to say that I will no longer be doing business with this company nor can I recommend a company so irresponsible of client's orders. Yes, they may "catalog" a lot of products from "other" suppliers but when a company is not aware of their vendor's inventory and no one bothers to inform anyone that the customer's ordered item is out of stock or gives you a "we just got it but it won't ship out until a week AFTER we inventory it" - That's 100% POOR Customer service! My order was placed 12/25/14, it's 01/05/15 today and I had to call to find out. Not a courtesy call or email to notify you and pretty much got a "tough luck for you" brush off. Sure its fresh off the holidays but you need to take responsibility of your services provided!

I order headlights for my brothers 2005 Mazda 6 and they charged me twice for the same product. So I called them and asked them to cancel the second charge and refund my money, they agreed with no argument only... it's going on a month now and I've yet to receive my money, I've had my bank haress them and ive called a total of 8 times so far and I keep getting told it'll happen any day now... AND Then for the headlights I did order, I was told would come December 24, then get an email saying I'll receive it January 15.
Absolutely terrible service and will never order from here again.
Appears carid is selling used parts... inside of product... muffler chrome extension for a 2012 patriot... was black with what appeared to be a black residue... like exhaust carbon residue from a muffler... I took pictures and sent to carid... they said they would call company and correct... I tried to return it... they came back and said it did not meet the manufacturers warranty?... if you can believe it... the product was supposed to be new in a sealed box... this box was re- taped / sealed... they offered to give me a $10 credit... but it is the principle of the matter... I basically had to keep it after 4 emails complaining about their process/ service... I gave up put it on the car... the main point... the part was used!
Beware! I ordered an aftermarket hood. The hood arrived with package looking OK top of hood was fine. When I flipped hood over to install I noticed that they had bolted wood to the bottom of hood into threaded mounting holes. The bolt was ripped out of hood causing threads to be ruined and a 1 inch hole in hood. Called Car id immediately, was placed on hold for thirty five minutes. After that all I got was a run around, tons of time on hold and told sorry nothing we can do! They are very well practiced at hiding behind the volumes of fine print in their disclaimers. They showed no interest in solving my issue! Terrible customer service, very dissatisfied will NEVER purchase from them again.
I ordered on December 16,2014 and the confirmation stated that the estimated ship date was December 19,2014.
On December 29, I check the status of my shipment only to find out that they now state that my order has an estimated ship date of January 9,2015. Order # *******

I saw all the negative reviews after ordering two sets of car seat covers for two different cars and feared the worst. A day later I realized I had ordered the wrong covers for one of the cars. I contacted their customer support and spoke to someone named Seth. After discovering the manufacturer didn’t sell the correct covers, Seth offered to call them and see if the covers could be special ordered. A day later he called back, said they could not be special ordered, and promptly refunded my money. The other covers, which were 20% less expensive than anywhere else I could find, came on time and were as ordered. I don’t doubt the other reviews, but my experience was really quite positive.
Ordered a receiver hitch on 12/12/2014, was told it would ship 12/16/2014. On 12/17/2014 I was told there was a "manufacturer delay" and it would ship 12/23/2014. On 12/24/2014 I contacted CARid and they told me "oh, it's busy because of the holidays, blah blah blah... which is utter BS as I've worked in the manufacturing industry for YEARS and end of the year they are trying to throw as much out the door as they can so it doesn't have to be inventoried and taxes paid on it! I asked for a refund of my Paypal payment and the lady tried to get me to take a "store credit" to which I said NO, now they say it will take 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS to get my refund. It takes less than FIVE MINUTES to refund a Paypal payment, so I said heck with it and started a Paypal dispute in an effort to get them to speed it up.
