I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation to CareerExcuse. The company did just as they said they would. That is, they set up a very realistic web site with my company name and provided me with all the necessary contact information (my business number and the number for my boss and another member of management that I could use for a reference). Then, when I interviewed, I easily passed the reference check the company conducted.

Beyond allowing me to successfully land a great job (most money I've ever earned and 5 miles away from my home), CareerExcuse was supportive, professional, and caring. They were prompt in answering my questions, and quickly made the slight changes I requested on my company site. And, perhaps, most of all, I felt the CareerExcuse representatives I spoke with were very concerned that they meet my needs and that I land the job I wanted.

An excellent and caring outfit, I would strongly recommend you give CareerExcuse a try.

Amey at career excuse worked tirelessly to provide stellar references for my employer and the background checking company. She was responsive to messages and always kept me updated. This is an amazing service for anyone who has the skills to do perform at a job but their lack of work history or past references has proven to be a blocker.

Anyone saying this is a scam is lying. Amey@ CE worked with me and provided service beyond their Blue Collar plan. She could have charged me more but she didn't!

CE really helped me out. I was trying to get into a NYC apartment but the rent requirements are crazy. CE provided my profile, company and recommendations BEFORE I paid. The service worked beautifully!

I was always contacted within 24 hours of any request I made. I can see why some people might be skeptical at first because CE's phone numbers seem to constantly change BUT just email them via the emails provided in the user portal and they'll get back to you right away.

THANKS AMEY AND THANKS CE!

Contacted Jennifer Hatton on a "Saturday" afternoon and she responded quickly and effectively.

Was impressed that she was able to set up my request the same day which allowed me foward my references to my future employer.

CareerExcuse has been a career saver for me because I had no other option.

Will continue to use their service as needed in the future.

Thank you Jennifer!

Ok
November 16, 2018

Good company. I was concerned when I didn't hear back for a day. But she always replied and let me know how busy she was and the status on my project. And at the end it worked got hired for three jobs only took one. The people who got scammed I'm not sure what happened. But for the other positive reviews I can believe them because it worked for me.

In this extremely difficult times, employers want a perfect resume
without any employment gaps. There could be multiple valid reasons why
you may have an employment gap. However, most employers are really not
sympathetic to your life situation. Once they see a gap, they will (99%
of them) throw your resume. CareerEscuse
work hard to fix this and other problems. They will provide a written
employment verification when needed to your prospective employer. This
is very important because many employers no longer accept verbal
verifications, and they require employment verification forms to confirm
your places of employment in the past. Not only that CareerExcuse customized employers based on my professional requirements,
they also helped to get a job with an employer who uses HIRERIGHT
background company by providing employment verification forms for
several employers to them. This is one of the most difficult background company
to work with! However, CareerExcuse did a great job to provide all the required forms to overcome this and other background company's strict verifications. Without CareeExcuse I would not get a job with an insurance company at one
point in time. I find myself needing their help again, and I am
confident that when an employment reference background check comes up, I
will have their vital help! I could give them more than 5 start If that
option was available!

I was desperate at the time I used this service it was about for years ago. I did everything thru Jennifer. At times I was concerned when I didn't hear back for a day. But she always replied and let me know how busy she was and the status on my project. And at the end it worked got hired for three jobs only took one. The people who got scammed I'm not sure what happened. But for the other positive reviews I can believe them because it worked for me. So I guess my advice to the non believers is only do it if you have some money to spare or if you are desperate like I was. The fake web sites they use are pretty legit and go down as soon as your time with them is done. Like you pay for a certain amount of time for references and stuff if I remember correctly. I couldn't believe how well everything came together my family thought I was crazy for trying this but I think they just thought it was morally wrong either way when I got into the field I needed it was a great and wonderful day. Thanks Jennifer. Maybe the people that got scammed was on them they do tell you if you bomb interviews or aim to high like go from working at a gas station to wanting to be a CEO well it's probably not going to happen unless you know how to be a CEO then you might have a chance. Either way it worked for me. Hope this helps.

CareerExcuse WORKS!
September 13, 2018

Start new job Monday thanks to CareerExcuse! It's unfortunate I cannot go on Facebook, Twitter, etc and tell everybody what a great service CareerExcuse provides!

CareerExcuse provided me with 3 references which went flawlessly. My new boss even commented on the great references given on my behalf by my former employer!

I 100% recommend CareerExcuse!

I found Careerexcuse online when I needed help with my past references due to a bad situation that was out of my control. I did read the reviews and in the beginning was worried. I saw a review about them having warrants so I decided to look into this. I found nothing. I did follow the link offered by a "sdkdfshj n" when I did it infected my computer. I warn anyone who wants to look into them, do so via a different route. I mean the name this person listed is nothing but a bunch of letters.
I went ahead and contacted Jennifer Hatton and she helped me get everything set up before I even submitted payment. I have had no issues with this company and I am now employed with a great company. I owe it all to their hard work and the services they offer. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about using them to utilize the services they offer.

I have used career excuse twice now and have nothing but the best things to say about Jennifer Hatton and career excuse!

I first decided to use their service after being laid off. The first company I worked for out of college was one of those multi-level marketing while my experience there was great and I got promoted multiple times to a management role running a sales team to running multiple sales teams across many locations. The experience was great, relevant it taught me a lot of valuable skills across: sales, leadership, training, strategy, finance, recruiting, HR, and business. However when I decided to move on after 5 years, my resume looked like I was jumping from job to job -- when in reality I had been with the same company (essentially) for 5 years. I knew it would read terribly to employers, and it wasn't an accurate reflection of my loyalty to the companies I have worked for or my success in general.

It's great very thorough company website, phone number, very due diligent and professional. And when someone does call your references from career excuse they send you and email following up letting you know the questions they asked and the references response. So you are completely aware and at ease. THEY are the BEST!

To be honest any negative reviews you read about them take with a grain of salt. Let's be honest-- if someone didn't get a job because and wants to blame it on career excuse it's not because they gave the person a bad reference-- they are probably just a bad employee. Let's be honest. But I have used them twice and they are the best.

I love this company!
September 20, 2017

William and his team are great. They landed me a job in 2013 and I am working with them again to land an even better job now. They really care and I cannot say enough good about how they have helped me. As a single mother, I struggled after being fired from my job in 2013. But thanks to William, I landed a great job with a large company. I have worked there almost 5 years now. Much appreciation and love to William and his team.

William is a good guy, and he renders the services as promised. I don't understand what all the hogwash is going on with this warrant-scammer stuff. A lot of you guys seem to be the scammers; accusers calling the accused a scam! How crazy is that?

There is only one person behind this company and that is Jennifer Hatton. Who knows if that's her real name or a disguise for William Schmidt, the so called founder of Career excuse. This person will email you a lot of jibe making you believe that are going to help you but a few days after your payment has gone through they will disappear. No service. No money back. No reply to your complaints. Just gone. I wasted $195 with them don't be fooled like I was. Besides all that, the websites and companies they create can easily be identified as fake. They would not create a new company for you but they would recycle details of referees for multiple companies given to multiple members. So for anyone doing a basic google search your 'referee' would come up as someone having several different job titles working simultaneously for several companies simultaneously. Wouldn't that raise a red flag with a prospective employer? Unless you are planning to work for someone really stupid. So there's basically no work from them for your cash. Believe me even if they were to do what they promise instead of running with your money, they are incompetent and cannot provide you with a professional service. You will only be left red faced when your prospective employer will find out you tried to scam them. It's not worth it. Avoid them.

I have had some bad luck with past employers and reached out to these guys as a last resort and was pleasantly surprised at the quick response and professionalism. AND they tailor to your exact needs. I also got a lot of one on one attention. Totally not what I expected and I was so grateful.
